Andrew Anglin thinks the end is near — that the world as we know it will collapse within ten years due to what he sees as a “bizarre” overreaction to the coronavirus. After this particular apocalypse, the Nazi troll writes in a post on his Daily Stormer website, the remaining people of the world will be plunged into a dark and violent time in which they’ll have to struggle just to survive.
And that’s when, in Anglin’s eyes, things start to get fun.

It’s no big secret that many doomsday preppers yearn for the apocalypse — if for no other reason than the opportunities it will provide them to say “I told you so” to all those who doubted their paranoid fantasies. I used to be a fairly regular watcher of Doomsday Preppers, the NatGeo “reality” show profiling a motley assortment of paranoid goofballs preparing themselves (and their sometimes enthusiastic, sometimes resentful families) in their own unique ways for what they saw as the impending end of the world.
