It’s time once again for our weekly catalogue of some of the unlikelier things that right-wingers are denouncing as “woke.” This week features a cameo from none other than Donald Trump himself.
Let’s hop right in.
It’s time once again for our weekly catalogue of some of the unlikelier things that right-wingers are denouncing as “woke.” This week features a cameo from none other than Donald Trump himself.
Let’s hop right in.
We’re back with more woke! Here are a few things that were denounced as “woke” by the anti-woke warriors this week.
Given that most of the world hates Dona;d Trump nearly as much as I do, it’s not surprising that America’s standing in the world has increased greatly now that he’s out of the White House.
Recently, I had a very unsettling experience: I found myself agreeing with some of the worst people on planet earth. Donald Trump. Tucker Carlson. Scott Adams. The editors of the Daily Caller and (shudder) the Gateway Pundit.
Well, that was depressingly predictable, huh? Let’s hope this grifter has to face a real court — or ten — for some of his (alleged) other crimes, financial and otherwise.
I can finally unclench my jaw. Trump is out of the White House. There were no riots, no deaths today.
Parler is dead, for now. The very loosely moderated Twitter clone — designed to appeal to the sort of people who get kicked off of Twitter — went dark last night after Amazon pulled the plug on its web services.
So Twitter has gone and done it: they’ve banned Donald Trump from his favorite online hangout, “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.”
Call your representatives to tell them to demand Trump be removed immediately from office, whether via the 25th Amendment or by impeachment. There is still a good deal of damage he could do in the last 13 days of his term.
I‘d say “unbelievable,” but unfortunately this is all too believable.
