A new report from the US Secret Service’s National Threat Assessment Center examines five years of data on mass attacks in public places in the US from 2016-2020. And a significant number of them were motivated by misogyny.

Life is tough for nice guys in our cold, hard world. Consider this poor fellow I found posting on Incels.is.
A 25-year-old California incel was recently arrested and charged with hate crimes, after he allegedly sprayed women with pepper spray in a series of attacks that he filmed and put on YouTube. There are a lot of things we don’t know about Darrell Brooks Jr., the man accused of killing five and injuring more than 40 in a van attack on a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
So this was a bit of a surprise: over on the incel hangout known as the Black Pill Club, the regulars are celebrating, not lamenting, the shuttering of the MGTOW subreddits.
Self-identified incel Alek Minassian is currently on trial in Canada for the van attacks that killed ten in Toronto in 2018. His defense? That his autism made him do it, leaving him not criminally responsible for the killings.

You may have reacted to the news of the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting with anger, or sadness, or frustration, or some mixture thereof. Dilbert creator and freelance persuasion guru Scott Adams responded by asking himself “what’s in it for me?”

NOTE: See note at the end of the post for an important clarification.
