The Republicans are moving fast to bring their healthcare-destroying bill to the senate floor. Today might not have been the worst day for the Trump regime, but it was definitely the most embarrassing. Watching Angela Merkel’s face as Trump blathered on about imaginary wiretaps at their joint appearance today was just painful. The world is laughing at us.

Ok, folks, we just lost the vote on Scott Pruitt. It’s extraordinary to me that the Republicans continue to stand behind Trump even as he and his White House continue unraveling.
Just a quick #ResistTrump post today. There’s a lot going on. Here are two important developments that we need to respond to.
First: Jeff Sessions has started off his new job as Attorney General with an attempt to undermine legal protections of trans students.
Most of the political activism that makes up The Resistance takes place on the local level. While perhaps a million people made it to the Women’s March in Washington, most of those who marched that day did so in their own cities.
If you’re feeling a bit discouraged by the confirmations of DeVos and Sessions, don’t be, because the massive wave of resistance to Trump that you and I are part of has accomplished several things that will ultimately be crucial to bringing Trump down. And we’ve accomplished these things less than three weeks into the Trump regime.
