Incel math just doesn’t add up. If women only date the top twenty percent of men, as per incel dogma, how do you account for the fact that more than twenty percent of women have husbands or boyfriends? You can’t. Unless …. well, one regular poster on Incels.is has a theory.
If true, and the powers that be are keeping this truth from us, it would be the biggest conspiracy ever. How could they manage to disguise this basic fact? If you go outside, roughly half the people you see are women. And if you look at, say, a high school yearbook, you’ll see that roughly half of each class is female. Do men only go out into the world in shifts? Are there millions — nay, billions — of men hidden away in underground warehouses, only to be retrieved when some woman needs a boyfriend? The mind reels.
You might think this theory would be too out there for even incels to embrace. But the commenters on jerkjocky’s post mostly agree that something weird is going on, and that while there may not be twice as many men as women, they definitely make up a whole heck of a lot more than half the population.

Facts. Remember the “virginity rates on the rise” statistic where it showed rate of celibacy in men skyrocketing in recent years and far above foids? The joos must have been concerned about it blackpilling too many men because they revised the chart to show foid abstinence higher than men this time. Don’t trust any of these jooish statistics about gender ratios and whatnot, trust your blackpill instincts.

Probably the rise of lesbianism and bisexuality in the west, I mean foids are the strongest advocate for fags/dykes rights that is because they are dykes themselves, they see the average and below average women more attractive than the average man, also the most viewed porn category for foids is lesbian, couple that with how trendy it is to be fag nowadays in the west, I think the number of foids dating other foids is huge, the government doesn’t want to announce it because if the number gets out men will stop supporting fags rights and start suppressing them again and globohomo doesn’t want that cause the current system is decreasing the population effectively which is their current goal since they don’t need more humans.

These guys really do live in a world of their own. Either that, or they have some secret competition to see who can come up with the most ridiculous theories, and the commenters are just pretending to agree with the OP. Given that some incels are driven to kill by incel ideology, I tend to think it’s the former.

I bet they also think sampling bias doesn’t exist because none of them have heard of it.
I think they’re only seeing more men out and about because a) the patriarchy still expects women to spend more time at home and b) because they only go places full of other incels, where of course women don’t go, and if they have to they know better than to make eye contact.
Considering they only want women to be forced to stay at home and feed and breed them, they’d see even fewer women then!

Could this just be a case of #WeCanAlwaysTell? This incel’s sense of guessing gender is heavily biased towards perceiving people as male, so he goes outside and sees a bunch of people and thinks most of them are male?
It’s also likely in part because older, fat, or etc. women are basically invisible to them. So they’re comparing a proper subset of women to the entire male population and surprise, surprise, there’s more men!
Just to play devil’s advocate, it’s still possible for the number of single men to exceed the number of single women, or vice versa, in any particular age group, since relationships often have an age gap. That effect is going to be especially pronounced among the young and the elderly. Also, there are significantly more single men than women who are trying to date; many women aren’t, especially after 40.

Don’t miss the part where it is apparently an iron rule that every woman has their own “unique boyfriend”. This isn’t even a “go touch grass” kind of moment, just go look at any online space where BOTH genders can talk about dating and there are tons of women complaining about how they can’t get a date. Yes getting a one night stand is easier for women, but they are not talking about just sex but apparently imagine women benefit from the government assigned romantic partners they have been asking for all this time.
Sometimes the men on r/dating_advice can sound kinda “incely” but apparently there isn’t as much overlap with incel.is as I thought because there is clearly a roughly equal number of involuntarily celibate men and women on places like r/dating_advice. Though really it is just that the incel ideology is based on the idea that women have in easy in dating, so I guess the idea that there are more men than women somehow was kinda inevitable.

Actually, as so often with right-whiners, they aren’t 100% off, just 99%. There actually is a male bias in the birth rate of humans – of around 1%. Statistically speaking, there are 105 male births for every 100 female births, unless the culture heavily selects for male offspring like China, for example, where their estimate is a lot closer to the truth. All in all, viewed over the world as a whole, yes, there likely are more AMAB than AFAB people in most age groups, but anyone who really wants to complain about that in the face of so much AFAB infanticide deserves to get shot. It also highly depends on country, as stated. Iirc, Hong Kong got 54% AFAB people in its population, but I don’t know how the age divisions look. There are far more elderly AFAB than AMAB people around after all.
In the western world, which we know is the only one that counts to those fucks, this isn’t the case however. Here, that natural 1% bias towards male offspring is the main factor, and let’s face it. It’s not exactly big. Plus, the situation at birth is, of course, not the only thing that counts. Mortality rates have it that over the different age groups, the numbers get more and more skewed towards the AFAB side of the equation, in the end leading to more AFAB than AMAB people being around. Oh, also, literally the only place I have ever seen more AMAB than AFAB around was at a metal concert. Even the FFXIV Fan Festivals and Gamescom are rather equal from my experience, or at least not so skewed that I would have noticed or felt uneasy. Until now, the usual consensus among incels seemed to be that most modern women are indeed single, at least when they’re still young and haven’t yet realized that their best option is to settle down for “beta bucks”.
Perhaps the OP here has actually socialized with or stalked or asked out a number of conventionally attractive young women and found that they all have a boyfriend. Or they all tell him they have a boyfriend. Or he’s just convinced himself that all the attractive women are taken already, so there’s no point asking them out.

There are currently about 40 million more male people than female people, for a variety of reasons.

I seem to recall Joanna Russ’s The Female Man had a spiel on how the 50/50 gender ratio has to be a fiction, because everywhere you go you see mostly men. That was a lot more convincing than this.
