I appreciated the anonymous capybara’s thoughtful take on the Slap Heard ‘Round the World.

I love how the capybara that is being eaten by the (what I’m pretty sure is) pelican is just sitting there like ‘eh, it’ll get the idea eventually’. Capybaras, the true students of stoic philosophy.

I think it’s a pelican too. I liked the way the Mum (? the bigger one anyway) was keeping a beady eye on the pelican as she ate while the young capybara just got on with the important business of eating.

This is a delightful palate cleanser. I vote for more capybara content.

The chill of the baby one being not-eaten is astounding. And I’m impressed by the jumping skills of the one leaping into the pool.
