Today, a brief break from the manosphere. Instead, we’re exploring what you might call the Capybarasphere. Enjoy these ten* videos and gifs of capybaras enjoying themselves in their inimitable way.
High-jump
Eating a delicious watermelon
Eating some celery
Eating a delicious … stick?
Getting eaten by a pelican.
I’m forever blowing bubbles … out of my ass
Going for a nice jog … underwater
Do you like my hat?
Getting some scratchies
But wait there’s more!
BONUS ELEVENTH CAPYBARA enjoying a nice soak
May we all learn to be as chill as the capybaras.

Awwww, who needs a water feature anyway?
I appreciated the anonymous capybara’s thoughtful take on the Slap Heard ‘Round the World.
“Chicago journalist goes missing. Police release last known CCTV image from Futrelle HQ.”
I love how the capybara that is being eaten by the (what I’m pretty sure is) pelican is just sitting there like ‘eh, it’ll get the idea eventually’. Capybaras, the true students of stoic philosophy.
I needed this today. Thank you.

I think it’s a pelican too. I liked the way the Mum (? the bigger one anyway) was keeping a beady eye on the pelican as she ate while the young capybara just got on with the important business of eating.
Capybaras have it all figured out.
oops, it’s clearly a pelican.
I love it when the capybaras show up here! π
This is a delightful palate cleanser. I vote for more capybara content.
The chill of the baby one being not-eaten is astounding. And I’m impressed by the jumping skills of the one leaping into the pool.
