Bad news, Red Pillers: Not only are fat women flooding the sexual marketplace in the US — they’re actually making mediocre women who aren’t fat look better by comparison. At least according to one Red Pill Redditor.
“At least 1/3 of the US is Obese. 2/3 are overweight,” notes a self-appointed sexual market data-interpreter called sabanMiles11 in the Red Pill subreddit. “The US is one of the heaviest countries in the world.”
Meanwhile, he notes, in Europe the “obesity rates are held in check. Most hover around 20%. If you venture into Asia, most countries are in single digits.”
Well, OK. I haven’t checked his numbers here but the fact is that there is more obesity in the US — among woman and men — than in most countries.
“Why is this important to know for the modern dating market?” he asks.
Women are attracted to aggregate social capital accumulated by a man. Men are attracted to beauty, physical health and the ability to reproduce.
Sez you.
He moves quickly to his main point: having so many undateable fat women around actually serves to inflate the sexual market value of those women who aren’t fat — who supposedly get rated higher than they really deserve because they’re competing against “landwhales.”
The fact that 50% of women are too fat to be dateable is causing any woman that is not overweight to be massively inflated in value.
Ok, but this isn’t very sciency. Can you make it all sciency for me?
To test this hypothesis, I made tinder accounts across the world (altered GPS location on 5 cheap or old android phones I had sitting around). The results were staggering.
Wait, I’m still trying to figure out why you have 5 working Android phones just sitting around. I mean, I have a few extra laptops stuffed away but in my defense none of them work properly if at all; I’m just sort of a harder. Anyhoo, let’s move on to the “staggering” results of this dude’s “scientific” “experiment.”
In a 24 hour period, I had over 100 matches in all asian countries (I tested South Korea, Vietnam and the Phillipines)
I had about 55-80 matches in the European countries I tested (This included the UK, Spain and Ukraine, with Ukraine falling on the higher end and the other two on the lower end)
In the US, I had roughly 20-30 (this included NYC, San Fran and Boston)
Why the big disparity between the US and the rest of the world?
Because, he explains, he only swiped on the women he thought were hot. Well, sort of.
I only swiped on girls I found attractive. The primary way for me to determine that was: 1. Could not be fat 2. Could not have kids (or at least seemed to not have kids) 3. No obvious left wing extremists.
Uh, that’s a very strange way to determine physical attractiveness.
Could I have had a bias when swiping non Americans? Maybe, its impossible to tell.
I don’t think it’s impossible to tell.
My conclusion: Maybe its time to abandon the US. We are being overrun by wokeness and fatness.
I’m fat and woke and glad to be doing my part on both fronts.
Europe may be left leaning, but they arent woke. I can handle left leaning liberals. I cant handle woke.
And apparently you have some trouble with the apostrophe key as well.
Further, the dating market is objectively better due to lack of inflation of female value. Almost any girl can be an objective 5 or above if she is not fat and puts in effort. The US has women who are not doing that anymore (obese, single mom, whales are the market).
Appaarently this is enough to get him at least talking about going expat.
Many of you will say this is “cope.” Maybe it is. But Id rather have an objectively better life than trying to be “Alpha” in an almost unwinnable game that is taking place in America.

There are attractive women obviously. But my point is, their value is incredibly inflated because they lack competition (non obese women and non single moms). The US woman who is not fat and under 30 without kids has an absolute monopoly on male attention. In Europe and Asia, the women have their egos in check because they have a lot of competition from other women, and thus their relative value deflates.
Apparently he only wants women with low self-esteem. Nothing new about that, er, strategy.
My condolences to the women in whatever country he ultimately chooses to live in.

Huh. You know, I hate to say this, but by Red Piller standards, this is actually pretty scientifically tenable. I mean, if you grant the premises that
1) Sexual attractiveness can be mathematically rated;
2) Thinness (for women) axiomatically gets a higher sexual attractivenesss rating;
3) Obesity rates are rising
and then if you do some math with SMV (and I apologize to all mathematicians for what I’m about to do, I’m no good at math), his opening statement is actually logical.
If SMV is graded on a curve, rather than being absolute;
and if obesity immediately removes you from consideration
then the curve is automatically smaller, and the value of those who remains goes up.
(Though then the curve is a lot curvier, wayhay.)
To put it another way:
If SMV = HB rating of 1-10
and
If each HB rating is half the hotness of the hottest chick
Then for every HB10 there are 2 HB9s, 4 HB8s, 8 HB7s, 16 HB6s, etc.
which means that
for every HB10
Number of Chicks = 1023
which means that an HB10’s SMV is 1023/1023, an HB9’s SMV is 511.5/1023, an HB8’s SMV is 255.75/1023, etc.
I.e.,
HB10 = 1.00
HB9 = 0.5
HB8 = 0.25
etc.
BUT
If 50% of chicks are obese, AND
if obesity automatically makes you ineligible,
then Number of Chicks = 1023
BUT Number of Eligible Chicks = 511.5
so HB10’s SMV = 1023/511.5, HB9’s SMV = 511.5/511.5, HB8s SMV = 255.75/511.5, etc.
I.e.,
HB10 = 2
HB9 = 1
HB8 = 0.5
etc.
Of course, that’s only one way of calculating things. One could also divide according to Total SMV, in which case instead of dividing simply by NoC or NoEC, one takes into account that the combined SMV of the NoC is 2036, as follows:
1 HB10 = 10
2 HB9 = 18
4 HB8 = 32
etc.
In that case, for each individual chick,
HB10 SMV = 10/2036, HB9 SMV = 9/2036, HB8 SMV = 8/2036, HB7 SMV = 7/2036, etc.
which you then apply to the NoC, so
HB10 = 10/2036/1023 = 4.8
HB9 = 9/2036/1023 = 4.32
HB8 = 8/2036/1023 = 3.84
BUT, again, if obesity disqualifies, you have to use the NoEC, in which case
HB10 = 10/2036/511.5 = 9.6
HB9 = 9/2036/511.5 = 8.64
HB8 = 8/2036/511.5 = 7.68
So, yep. It’s mathematically provable that fat chicks inflate thin-but-ugly chicks’ numbers, just by not being there.
I mean, it’s all complete and utter nonsense, but given the premise — by which I mean, if you take leave of your senses for a moment and imagine that SMV is a thing — there’s a certain amount of sense there.
God, I just spent way, way too much time on that. What is wrong with me? Is this what Red Pillers are like all the time?
And again, to anyone out there who actually understands math, I apologize for making your head explode.

Mostly because while I am not a statistician, I have done enough of it to be utterly horrified by half what you do. It’s also the statistic part who is absolutely horrid in that red piller post, too.
I wonder how much we need actual statistic course to be mandatory education. While I think differential calculus and equations are pretty useful, recogbnizing actual statistic works from random string of words seem quite useful now.
The first very real problem is that he don’t take any precaution to reduce subjectivité or to have his criteria be repeteably the same. (even better would be actual objective grade, but attractivity is probably not objective either). In particular, the guy formulating the hypothesis is the same as the one collecting data, and it’s a pretty big red flag.
Then he did 0 of the required work before collecting data. He did not try to hazard other hypothesis. If there’s two or three different hypothesis that would end up with the same final data, that’s a problem. Here examples would be “would asians use photoshop on their pictures more ?”, or “do some populations store fat at different place ?”.
Of course, you can more simply pick up on the fact he *started* by the conclusion, which is “50% of american women are undateable”. Generally, if someone start by conclyusion you can safely ignore the rest.
I also note he said that european were “less woke”. I guess he never talked to one and/or only to one too polite to expressly say “fuck you, you creep”.
Also, lately and as a reminder, while I do believe obesity exist, the rate given by doctors currently are extremely dubious. Most are based on BMI, which is very imprecise and harshly punish atheltics persons ; and outside that, what is the preferable range for weight have not been too precisely assessed.
Generally speaking, I would say that an obese person is a person who A – feel he or she is too big and B – isn’t underweight. Since the lion’s share of obesity’s health consequence is apparently from stress and social problem, it make more sense to define it that way than with a scale.
Yes, please. Might I suggest you colonize Snake Island off the coast of Brazil. I can promise you there are zero fat women there, although there might be thousands of poisonous snakes.

Jumping in on the statistics throwdown, I’m not sure what this guy means by apparently comparing entire foreign countries to US cities:
But if he really means that his Tinder accounts covered three US cities (combined total population < 10 million) as compared to three entire Asian countries (combined total population about 250 million) and three entire European countries (combined total population about 150 million), then duh, of COURSE he’s likely to find more matches in the bigger population samples.
Even if the rate of Tinder membership in those countries is less than one-tenth of its counterpart in those US cities, he’s still going to get many more people in a countrywide sample than in a citywide one.
That said, his reported numbers are still absurdly disproportionate to typical estimates of obesity levels for the various countries. The US has about a 36% obesity rate, the UK about 28%, Ukraine and Spain about 24%, Philippines about 6%, S. Korea about 5% and Vietnam about 2%.
Yet this dude still managed to find about one-fourth as many women he considered “dateable” in three US cities as he did in three entire Asian countries? Clearly, by the numbers, national population obesity levels are nowhere near as much of an impediment to “dateability”, even by his misogynistic and fatphobic standards, as he unthinkingly claims.
Qualitatively, it’s true that the fewer slender “hot chicks” there are in a population, the more each of them is likely to be badgered by fatphobic misogynists believing they’re owed a slender hot chick’s attention. I have a lot of sympathy for slender hot chicks in such a situation, but none at all for the fatphobic misogynists.

Nah, Clipperton is still the best option. It’s basically a pile of rocks on top of some coral with a couple of palm trees. Also, it’s 1,100 miles off the coast of Mexico in the pacific. No living creatures other than palm trees to be bothered by this asshole.
The thing that this red piller is ignoring is that it’s not just American women who are fat. American men are as well. So, if we suppose it’s true fat people are ineligible for dating and that fat women make thin, but otherwise not super conventionally attractive women look better, then fat men would make thin, but otherwise not super conventionally attractive men look better too. So, it all evens out.

Clipperton Island also has seabirds, skinks, and poisonous crabs. (I really do mean “poisonous” here and not “venomous”.) There used to be feral pigs there, descendants of livestock brought by the original colonists, but they didn’t last. You can survive drinking the water in the middle of the island, but it’s unpleasant – still mildly salty, and full of microscopic lifeforms who literally hate your guts.
Wouldn’t be able to stay there forever, though. Every decade or so, some fools try to live there, and if they survive, the French Navy shows up every other year and “rescues” people whether they want to leave or not. (The Island has a disputed claim, split between the US, Mexico, and France, but only the latter has made anything like a serious effort to “keep” it. Nobody wants it that badly, but you’re not allowed there anyway.)
