I don’t know about you, but I won’t feel entirely safe until the last of 2020 has disappeared into the International Date Line, sometime around 7 am tomorrow morning my time, without any killer asteroid impacting, armed boogaloo Proud Boy militia insurrection taking over DC, or alien invaders decloaking off the port bow.
It’s about 4 hours before midnight in my time zone. I’d like to wish everyone here a happy new year, hopefully 2021 is better than 2020.
There are problems from 2020 that will linger into 2021, some of them at least until January 20th, but this just feels like a good sign
Oh right, end of the month, gotta pay the rent.
I’m bored out of my mind. Could be worse obviously, but I’m not looking forward to another several months of being pretty much locked down.

Unrelated, my antivirus found a PUA on my computer and I did a double take until I learned the computer meaning of the acronym. I guess there’s no circumstance in which PUAs are good things.
