Just a note to let you all know why I haven’t been posting. My mother died last Friday. I hope to begin posting again soon, but right now I’m taking it a day at a time.

An online friend, one I’ve known for a quarter of a century, was hit last Thursday in a hit and run while on his bike. He died early yesterday morning without ever regaining consciousness. And now I see this.
