I like that even this guy’s defense of dogs is based on a creepy utilitarianism; he misses the point of having dogs as completely as he misses the point of having cats.

Our church has a full time mouser, Thomas Aquinas (who’s a short haired grey female, but eh, her name still fits her.).
She’s rather fond of wandering in and laying in front of the altar during Mass, so she thinks the current level of devotion to herself is just about right. 🙂
