Roosh Valizadeh has finally gotten the boot from YouTube for “repeated or severe violations” of the site’s rules on hate speech. The final straw was apparently a livestream in which he suggested that Bratz dolls (remember them?) are a plot to “groom” young girls, masterminded by an evil Jewish CEO.
In the video, the former Pickup Artist who has transformed himself into a fanatical Christian and rabid antisemite described the dolls as
the kind of dolls you would buy to groom a young child in order to sexually abuse them. … You would teach ‘Hey, look, this is the doll, this is how you dress. Oh, you’re dressing like that.’ I mean, this is what I think. This is a grooming tool.
He then went on to talk about the “engorged” nose and “snake-like eyes” of the Jewish CEO of the company that makes Bratz dolls.
Roosh, naturally, feels that he is being persecuted … for being Christian.
In a post on his blog, he indignantly denies engaging in hate speech … before engaging in more hate speech. In the same sentence.
I presume I was banned for “encouraging hatred” (i.e. speaking the truth) about sodomites who groom children and those who worship in the synagogues of Satan.
“Synagogue of Satan” is a favorite antisemitic reference to Jews. And of course “sodomite” speaks for itself.
Roosh has been heartened, it appears, by the support he’s gotten from one of the internet’s most notorious antisemites, Andrew Anglin of the Daily Stormer.
Anglin, in a Daily Stormer post, offers some kind words to the newly banned Roosh, from someone who has been banned many times:
I hope that Roosh is able to find a similar niche [as I have], as I’ve found his Christian journey to be very inspiring. He’s not disposable in the way that someone like Stefan Molyneux is. If Molyneux is removed from your life, you don’t miss him. Roosh has become one of only a very small handful of living people, with Sam Hyde, weev, Kantbot, Jesse Lee Peterson and Tucker Carlson who can actually stir me to think about something from a different angle. He’s offering something more than just entertainment or a series of facts.
I would call it something different than entertainment or facts, but not something more.
Roosh, for his part, vows to continue on.
I intend to take the path of an e-hermit. I will hunker down onto my own domain and forum and host as much content as I can, including videos.
I can only wish him the worst of luck.

To translate a french expression, I would say the Daily Stormer support Roosh like the cord support a hanged man.
Has Andrew forgotten that Roosh isn’t white by most standards? He’s half Iranian and half Armenian, which doesn’t bode well for him making friends with white supremacists.
I know who Sam Hyde, weev, and Tucker Carlson are, but who are Kantbot and Jesse Lee Peterson? And is he related to Jordan?
I wonder if he’s on Parler?
@Naglfar
Jesse Lee Peterson is a best described as a turd that suddenly learned how to speak, but that could be an insult to the good name of turds.

Yup, sounds like the only kind of Black person that Andrew Anglin would tolerate. I also understand why he mentioned him along with Roosh: they’re both from minorities that Andrew usually hates but will tolerate if they are useful to him.
What token minority members who hang out with bigots never seem to learn is that the instant the bigots are done with them, they will be thrown away like a rotten egg and their former “friends” will turn on them. Cf. Milo Yiannopoulos.
Roosh accidentally made a good point. Which is that misogynistic hate speech and incitement of violence against women is all too often tolerated.
I admit I found Bratz dolls (especially the Bratz Babiez) kind of ewwww but why is he wittering on about them *now*? I don’t think they’ve been A Thing for several years at least.
Oh I don’t know, if he’s going to be hosting his own videos on his own domain a brief spell of good luck would absolutely cripple him financially.
Does anyone know if he’s still living in his mother’s basement.
@weirwoodtreehugger
That was my thought was well. 13 years of admitting to rape and encouraging it, and YouTube does nothing. Great job! ? ?
Of course I find this to be the case everywhere online. I report misogyny and nothing happens, not even with the worst imaginable threats and slurs against women. I try really hard to see it in only a positive light that racist and homophobic slurs are auto-reported by the same systems’ filters, but I do feel slightly embittered that no progress is made for women.
Big Titty Demon,
Roosh still doesn’t understand the finer points there, however. He refers to what he did as simply “fornication” rather than participating in and inciting sexual violence and rape.
@Naglfar
You have to remember that as some people will loudly remind you at all times, REAL Aryans are Iranian. Anglin doubtless prefers the stereotypical Swedish variety, but from time to time that’s probably a good enough excuse for him to support a fellow antisemite.
@ Nequam:
I thought the Bratz were sort of cute, and their interchangeable feet were a good solution to the “doll can only wear high heels/only wear flats” problem; but I think they’ve been supplanted by the Monster High dolls, and lord only knows what Roosh would think of *them* (they’re mostly non-human characters, there’s at least one mer-boy and he uses a wheelchair on land, etc).
@Katherine the Adequate
Worse, he then tries to pity himself over how his own habits negatively impacted his life, not those of his victims.
@Rabid Rabbit
I know, but I don’t think most Nazis would feel so generous towards Roosh, given what they’ve said about him in the past.
And the Armenian half of his ancestry (which he seems to embrace more as he is an Armenian Apostolic Christian) might still disqualify him.

Oh, a stop clock moment.
I’m sure a lot of people could benefit from having a discussion on how toys perpetuate gender stereotypes and try to brainwash children into a certain type of thinking, but I’d like that without the antisemitism, and also without Roosh.
Totally justified self-pitying here. It’s not like there are any Christians on YouTube. YouTube is like those trolls that are out for Christian blood. Once they sniff you, you’re done for.
Weird. Because when I did a search for this
I got this
@Masse_mysteria
Indeed, I would imagine that discussion is best suited to feminists and scholars rather than angry fundamentalists.
And I’m pretty sure I know who Roosh thinks is behind this.
@Kat
Ah, but maybe those were all results about how there are no Christians on YouTube.
Isn’t the point of being a hermit not to interact with other people in any way? I know he’s just trying to be a martyr, but being a recluse on social media seems a tad oxymoronic. Hermits aren’t just regular people but with a smaller audience.
So he’s finally realized that sexualization and grooming of young girls is evil. Then he immediately outsources it to Teh_Jooz, without a hint of awareness about his own dark past.
It’s wrong, but only because the wrong people are doing it, not because it’s wrong.
Ah yes, the Daily Stormer, a typical ‘non-mainstream conservative’. And people say us lefties and liberals call conservatives nazis.
By Roosh, take you unwashed butt somewhere else. David posted a couple of great islands for you to go to (I veto the snake one, though. They don’t deserve this toxic trash).
There’s a lot to dislike about Roosh but I really just can’t stand just how self important he is. The martyr eyes, self-concious beard, wildly inaccurate belief that he has anything important to say. Even in his “play boy” days he’d act like he’s some sort of philosopher king.
It just seems so unfair when the smart people I know (unfortunately/fortunately, I’m not one myself!) are all so crippled with anxiety and doubt that he gets to swan through life with such po-faced self confidence. God I hate him.
@LollyPop
Lord, give me the confidence of a mediocre white man…
Reminds me of this joke:
But yes, part of the problem with Roosh and his fellow pseudointellectuals is how they all think they’re super geniuses.
@Naglfar
Ha! I love that.
Yep, they think of themselves as super geniuses who know all the cold hard logic facts, which will remain facts even when they are easily disproved. I’ve heard they are all very handsome too ?
@Lollypop
I also find it really frustrating that they seem to think they’re rebellious cool counter culture icons when all they do is repeat the status quo. You can’t be counter culture and dominant culture at the same time. “Conservatism is the new punk rock” has to be one of the most incorrect slogans of the modern era for numerous reasons.
Naglfar,
Sebastian Bach tweeted that supporting Trump is anti-rock n’ roll and the replies were full of conservatives claiming that Trump is actually a rock star.
I truly can not fathom the brain worms it takes to think that being an old white guy who was born rich, loves golf and the associated fashions and wants police and military to crush protest against the government is even remotely rock.
@WWTH
Bach isn’t the only 80s hair metal musician to speak against the Trump administration lately either. Axl Rose had Twitter arguments with both the Surgeon General and treasury secretary in the past month. And just today Rex Brown of Pantera called him out, which I don’t think any of us expected.
Seems the general consensus from the rock stars is that Trump isn’t rock.
