“Women over 30 shouldn’t interest you unless you have an impure, sexually perverted mind,” declares man obsessed with his own semen

Hideous over-30 woman

By David Futrelle

Just like Men Going Their Own Way, who can’t stop talking about the women they’re ostensibly “going their own way” from, militant NoFappers can’t stop obsessing over the sexual appeal (or alleged lack thereof) of the women they’re definitely not masturbating over.

In the Semen Retention subreddit, one brave man recently offered his thoughts on which categories of women it’s acceptable to lust after, and it’s basically No Fatties, No Uglies, and no one over 30.

The average woman is becoming uninteresting to me. (self.Semenretention)

submitted 11 days ago by Acceptancehunter

I know what most people expect after they give up porn is to become attracted to 'average' women again and this is a sign of healthy sexuality.

I have gone through that but now I see myself becoming increasingly uninterested in women who are not naturally noticeably beautiful and young.

This includes girls who look fake or enhanced. I'm also finding my disgust response is going up when I look at women who are aged or overweight. In the past I would find something erotic about a women who was maybe middle aged or if they were not skinny I could be attracted to their curvature. Now I just have incredibly high standards, for me it skinny, pale and young looking. By young I mean healthy looking really (18-30) That's really what should turn you on though, women who are chubby, not pretty or over 30 shouldn't really be that interesting to you unless you have an impure sexually perverted mind. Unless they are strikingly attractive I just don't really notice them.

I don't expect this post to be agreed upon lol but this is what I'm feeling.

Don’t trust lust after anyone over 30.

As it turns out, Acceptancehunter here had no need to worry about his fellow semen retainers disagreeing with him, as most of the commenters were happy to endorse his rather skewed vision of the world.

“I see where you are coming from,” replied the aptly named shared_consciousness.

My perception of women and definition of attractiveness has completely changed since starting this journey 5 years ago.

Generally speaking, young women will be more attractive to us… because time has not yet given them the opportunity to become impure. Older women MAY have racked up many years of gross behavior. Especially true for Western women.

You know what’s actually gross? Old dudes speculating on the “purity” of the young women they’re horny for.

I find some “hot” young women very repulsive because they are unpure (huge ego, drinking, many s partners.. ). However i sometimes find older women extremely attractive, because they are pure (worship god, loyal to their partner, helping others, eating healthy…).

Does this guy honestly think he can determine the number of sexual partners a woman has had, or the sort of food she eats, just by looking at her?

A commenter called Santanabbts, meanwhile, added yet another category of women to the discard pile: women using contraceptives.

I would also like to add that: women who do not use contraception are much more attractive and feminine. I have observed this many times, I think that contraceptives spoil the delicate hormonal balance of women

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO IS USING CONTRACEPTIVES. And which contraceptives are you talking about? Just the pill? Do IUDs count? The sponge? What about women who insist their partners use condoms?

Other commenters professed to be repulsed by pretty much all women.

“Since starting this journey,” Destrapo45 declared,

I see most women as manipulative creatures who often move you away from a path of righteousness. Plus besides sex you start to realize their a lil annoying.

Someone called Juiceshop changed the subject slightly, telling the story of a grocery store cashier who’s TOTALLY INTO HIM.

Last week the cashier girl in the market looked a moment at me so full of sexual wanting, nearly like a devil Haha. I found out that she found out about my profile as a musician.

I don’t like when they want you because they can smell fame and success. I want to meet smart and empathic women.

I don’t think that’s going to work out for you, chief. Any woman who could possibly be into you after hearing you spout this sort of drivel is by definition going to be foolish and oblivious.

I’m pretty much the same, with one difference: I go from white to red, then the burn peels off and leaves a kind of “tan” (I think of it as toasted rather than burned), which then peels off after a week or so and I’m back to fishbelly white.

The sun hates me, and the feeling is mutual. Good thing I moved to Florida….

Can you apply measurements to something that doesn’t exist?

Well, the manosphere does that quite frequently which the whole “sexual market value” business. There is no such thing as sexual market value (or at least there shouldn’t be) but they’ve devised all sorts of ways to measure it through examining their wrists, eyes, and skull shapes.

@Naglfar:

I’m an amateur musician myself, and I’ve noticed there are 2 kinds of musicians in this world:
1. People who actually make music, play shows, record stuff, go to events, are part of a local “scene,” etc
2. People who talk at length about how great they are as musicians but never seem to actually play or participate in local events

As an amateur (but published) writer, I can tell you that the same applies for writers. The people who will talk most at length about their great novel are the ones who usually haven’t actually written any of it.

@Daughter:
“Superb Owl” probably wasn’t autocorrect, that’s a pretty common deliberate misspelling, which I believe originally started because the NFL is extremely protective of the trademark for ‘the big event’, and more than a little litigious.

I would much rather see a superb owl (and all owls are superb) than the Superbowl. I caught a bit of this year’s, just in time to see an ad with a woman of color saying, “Thank you, Donald Trump!” with the fervor of a Seventh Day Adventist saying, “Thank you, Jesus!” That was enough for me.

This owl is quite superb:

I see the best hotties also know their way around a type II phaser (since type I is for wimps) and are Starfleet officers. Personally, I’d settle for a lieutenant, but your higher standards are a testament to your great status and my hat is, like, permanently off now.

The sentence that left me shaking my head even more than for all the others was this one:

“As you read through this website, you will notice that I’m an intense, complex man who thinks waaay ‘outside the box,’”

If he were complex and thought anywhere outside the box, he wouldn’t support Trump. Really, if he thought at all period he wouldn’t support Trump.

I also focused on the sentence where he says he’s ok with women into equal rights but not feminists. I’m guessing that means he’s fine with people like Christina Hoff Sommers or Camille Paglia who profess to be feminists but spend most of their time bashing feminism and promoting antifeminist policies.

I also went to his website and found it quite gross. In addition to his poor web design, his views after the questionnaire make him very creepy.

Responding to Butterfly Q. Skullpants about STEM workers and Scifi fans – it’s obvious from all the comments that many of us WHTM fans are also STEM workers and Scifi fans. I met my darling STEM worker at a Society for Creative Anachronism meeting back in college, and we bonded over a mutual love of science fiction. Now that we’re getting older and more feeble, we sometimes spend our evenings binge watching The Expanse and re-watching Firefly or the various iterations of Star Trek.
While there’s a lot of science fiction that caters to patriarchal norms, there’s a great deal more that doesn’t. While even the best intentioned scifi can’t help but reflect the times it was created in (oh, god! Those Star Trek mini-skirts!), much of it does try to push us into a more egalitarian future (once again, Star Trek, which made pointed comments about racism, had a black woman bridge officer, and the first interracial kiss on television.) These days, even the most right wing scifi writers (David Weber and John Ringo, for instance) present multiracial societies and women in positions of leadership.
Every fandom will have its assholes, but I’ve found that scifi’s assholes tend to be loudly mocked.

Vox Day still won’t because it’s “historically inaccurate“, but Vox Day will always be an asshole. I’ve never read anything he’s written, but I’d imagine it’s shit.

It may be just that I wasn’t there in the sixties, but I don’t mind the miniskirts in TOS that much because I assume they were new and modern and seemed futuristic or something.

The short hems on the new Star Trek movies on the other hand… It’s not like it can be that hard to design a unisex uniform that harkens back to the TOS aesthetic. That’s what the primary colours are for!

I think you misinterpreted that one line.

I mean, if you really thinks about it, when he talks about thinking outside the box he’s clearly referencing his coffin and its inability to contain his outdated medieval views.

Yeah, I’d read that the miniskirts were considered empowering — modern women wore those, and they were a rejection of the prevailing patriarchal norms. I think they represented a kind of ownership of one’s body and sexuality.

Nichelle Nichols even fought the producers to make her skirt shorter. Apparently they were a bit nervous about a modern black woman doing the same.

Urgggghh. Reminded of a comment by a male acquaintance about a woman he came into contact with at his work. He swore up and down she was like really into him. I imagine it went more like hi, I am being pleasant and professional because you can make navigating this organisation difficult and if I come across as a world class b***h then I will suffer for it! But not only was it yuck cos I forget males in a professional setting might not also be thinking 100% professionally about my interactions with them (and this was nasty reminder), but also if he made that comment to the wrong person he could seriously harm her reputation. I did suggest to him she was being nice cos he could make her professional life difficult, but, no, he was SURE she was gagging for him.

Was he a semen retainer? It seems to be a common idea among those types that all women are really into them and/or trying to steal their precious bodily fluids.

O/T (and TMI): Jessica Mann says that Harvey Weinstein has ambiguous genitalia with no testicles and a vagina.
I don’t know much about this, but I have several questions. Does that mean he’s intersex? And how did he supposedly father 5 children then? And, more importantly, what does this mean for the trial?

Jenora Feuer

@Amtep:
I didn’t know that about Nichelle Nichols, but I can see it. Of course, ‘taking ownership of sexuality’ has long been one of the fracture lines in feminism.

Actually, that just led me into a thought. There’s a term called ‘euphemism treadmill’, referring to the race for creation of non-slur terminology before it inevitably gets used as the basis for a new slur. It made me think that there should be a similar ‘feminism treadmill’, of the race for new ways for women to express themselves and break out of the mold before those ways get co-opted as advertising material by the more general patriarchal culture.

Granted, thinking that over also makes me think it’s obvious enough that anybody who has seriously studied this has probably already run into the concept and that there’s likely already a formal name for it.

I can’t help but notice that he likes skinny and young women, but really the two things that set female porn stars apart is that they are skinnier and younger than the general female population. 18 to 30 years is the age range you will see on Pornhub. A lot of content specifically emphasizes how young the women are. “BBW” exists but is considered a specific fetish. There was even a guy who did a study based on a database of professional online profiles and found that one average the only difference is that female porn stars apart is that they are skinnier and younger than the general female population. Of course it probably isn’t a coincidence in a community of men who are there because they watched too much porn. You might think such a community would focus on introspection, self-reflection, and exploring all the ways their views on women and sexuality are warped, but of course like any alt-right community they immediately validate every little bias and angry thought.

(CW warning for mentioning Harvey Weinstein’s junk)

I’m assuming Jessica Mann was saying vagina when she actually meant vulva. Weinstein may have low T (that would explain the injection), which could make his privates shrink, making his balls look a bit like a vulva.

Of course, Weinstein could have the most beautiful genitals on the planet and I still wouldn’t want to look at them.

Paireon
Paireon

Welp. Thank you people for those wonderful mental images of Weinstein’s privates /s (I have a hyperactive, hard to control imagination).

That said, from what I’m reading in that creep’s posts, seems to me that the longer he goes without masturbating to porn, the more his ideas about women he’d be DTF seem to conform to porn-like ideals. Methinks he’s not so much becoming more “in-tune” with a sort of feminine ideal (which he strongly implies, in barely-coded racially-charged language no less), but rather experiencing porn withdrawal coupled with the truly astounding capacity for self-delusion people like him have, which magnifies the effects far more than what an ordinary person might feel, and keeps it going for far longer than it should.

(Porn withdrawal is relatively easy to cope with in my experience -results may vary of course- as long as you’re relatively open-minded about what’s going on; had a stint where I had almost zero access to it for the better part of a year once, didn’t exactly narrow my preferences to porn star-like body types. These dudes seem to want to fit everything into their warped worldview, which predictably also warps what they manage to fit in)

Depressingly, that photograph reminds me of how vocally disgusted and outraged my mother was when Blondie had their comeback in the Nineties. Because it was somehow in poor taste and “not right” for Debbie Harry to still be making music whilst looking like a perfectly normal, attractive fifty-something woman. It goes without saying that my mother simultaneously thought that the Rolling Stones were wonderful for going on peforming into middle age and well beyond. It’s only women who need to retire from public life, preferably with a bag on their heads, to avoid offending people with the dreadful sight of a middle-aged woman. Anyone who has any doubts about the extent to which women internalize and enforce sexism just needs to have a ten minute chat with my mother…
