It’s hard to think of a more embarrassing memetic self-own than the ubiquity of the “hot white girl complaining about white genocide” memes on the alt-right internet.
You know the ones: the memes featuring gauzy, artfully photoshopped pics of young women — sometimes very young — that are festooned with weirdly turgid captions about the alleged dangers of race-mixing and demands that “the Beauty of the White Aryan Woman Must Not Perish from the Earth.”
Almost none of the women in these memes are actual white supremacists. Like Bizarro World versions of college admissions offices sneakily photoshopping black faces into all-white crowds to make their schools look more diverse than they really are, the white supremacist meme makers have decided to solve their own demographic problem — the fact that there are almost no women in the alt-right — by drafting unwitting stock photo and glamour models (and even a few unlucky selfie-posters) to be the spokeswomen for the Aryan race, or at least the most racist portion of it.
This isn’t a new phenomenon. I wrote about former KKK Grand Wizard and current dirty old man David Duke’s penchant for posting pics of young hotties forced to spout racist sentiments. And I’ve written as well about the Daily Stormer’s attempt to turn Taylor Swift into an unwilling white-supremacist mouthpiece — at least until the Nazi memers had their hearts broken when they discovered that she actually hates them.
But whenever I poke around in the world of alt-right memery I fund myself struck by how persistent these memes — despite the fact that they’re basically one huge self-own, revealing the alt-right to be filled to overflowing with lonely, horny dudes obsessed with women (and teenage girls) way too young for them.
Also, I’m struck again and again by just how inept these guys are at making memes, with many of the memes in this particular genre clotted with embarrassingly prolix disquisitions on the alleged perfection of the white race, sometimes in type so small they’re hard to read.
Here are some of the most cringeworthy of the “Aryan Babe” memes I’ve come across recently.

I think you’re right about that…so many of these neo-Nazi nutballs have weird ideas about sex…Kevin Strom and Erich Gliebe were pedophiles; David Duke an adulterer; William Pierce made dirty movies of him with his mail-order brides and made them watch other dirty movies….some of their fiction has some really strange sex scenes.

When “white” skin (and blond hair/blue eyes to go with it) is the thing you’re proudest of having, you haven’t any real accomplishments to boast of. You didn’t create them, you just inherited them. You’re literally bragging of the accident of genetics that made you.
But then again, aren’t the peebees all about being proud of things they didn’t, themselves, have any part in creating, such as the stronsmosity* known as “Western Civilization”? And the source of their “pride” is simply down to living in it, being born to it, and that’s why they’re forever shoving it in the faces of all those not-so-primitive people they think still live in caves or grass huts**…

For example Nazi ideas of racial purity were flexible enough that the Nazis kidnapped a large of number of “non-Aryan” children who had what they considered Aryan physical characteristics, who would be “Germanized.” Poland was the biggest victim, with an estimated 200 thousand abducted. They also kidnapped something like 20 thousand from the Soviet Union.

I always wonder how the Nazi internal logic (if it can be called logic) processes Israel. One the one hand, it’s the closest thing to a white ethnostate in the modern world, so you would think they’d be all for it. On the other hand, it also borders on a Jewish theocracy. Their little skulls must pop just thinking about it.
It’s kind of amusing that one is a stolen Dove shampoo ad, and given all the space they could have put text they just threw it over top of her face…which says a lot for how much they really don’t actually care if this woman’s presence in the image is basically hidden like it doesn’t matter.
Someone else may have mentioned this already, but the inclusion of red-haired women is kind of weird to me in these memes, since traditionally the KKK didn’t like Irish people. I guess they changed their minds since then.
Also a surprising lack of brunettes? Most white women I’ve known have brown hair, so idk what these guys’ problem with that is.

As MAD magazine pointed out long ago, they want all those foreign Jews kicked out of Europe and going back where they came from, Palestine … so they can sit back and root for the Arabs to win and kick those colonialist Jews back where they came from… to Europe???

Anonymous: white women, in the eyes of these hammerheads, are not human beings, they’re a natural resource.
Finally, according to the most recent genetic research, white skin and blond hair are very recent mutations that only survived in Europe because they weren’t actually disadvantageous. But these people probably still believe in Welteislehre, even if they can’t pronounce it.
I suspect that part of the deal, in their minds, is that if they are very good little racists, they will get a blonde girl with a flawless body who will love them for their pure genes and be traditional and submissive. And women like that are cool, it’s just all the other ones, who’ve been ruined by controlling society and stuff that they don’t like.
I apologize if this is a bit off-topic, but MAD’s “guide to race relations” from the 60s, from which I quoted, had many good observations about racists.
For example that “Black Power” extremists want seperate schools and neighborhoods and hate race-mixing – which is exactly what “White Power” people want (“Isn’t it nice blacks and whites can work together for the same cause?” MAD noted).
MAD also suspected that the KKK, with its titles of “grand cyclops”, “exalted dragon” and the like, has as much to do with people whose highest real-life title is “junior manure salesmen” feel important than with white supremacy.

Speaking of self-owning in these posters, I guess it makes sense from white supremacist POV, if the women are just meant to be generic examples of white people as a race. It looks self-owning to us, because extremist messaging is largely used as in-group inspirational propaganda.
I mean, white supremacists apparently (by definition, even) presume to speak for all white people. And since they sort of deliberately exclude women from political activism, they aren’t necessarily trying to convince each other that their movement includes lots of hot women – only that the women of white race are objectively super hot and precious. Women’s support of white supremacism seems largely irrelevant for white supremacism.
White supremacists: once again proving they have neither artistic talent, nor a basic understanding of human history.
If this refers to the image right below, the person in it IS pretty young-looking. After all, she’s at least 2,000: “This Woman, like all Europeans, is thousands of years in the making.”
Add glasses and a bit of acne, make the eyes grayer and the cheeks puffier, and the woman in that picture looks like me. But I’m 3,000 – over the hill for sure. 😛

So are the guys who created them….
They actually use the existence of Israel to their twisted advantage, pointing out how some of the high-handed behavior of the Israelis in treating the Palestinians and the Israeli attitude that the nation exists to preserve their culture thus says the Nazi theory is “right” as it was “adopted” by the very people they persecuted then and denigrate now.
There is a nasty little cartoon video somewhere created by some neo-Nazi in which Hitler emerges from hiding, without having aged, says that he is no longer a Nazi, and wants to seek understanding between Jews and non-Jews from Israel. So he goes there, points out that Israel is a state for Jews only, and that has to be stopped. He opens the “big gate,” and the country is flooded with blacks and Latinos, wrecking the state as a “Jewish homeland.” Which was his goal in the first place, also proving his point that Nazi Germany was needed to protect the Aryan race.
It’s convoluted logic, and a sophomoric and mean-spirited cartoon.
