The MGTOWs of the world, it’s safe to say, didn’t enjoy the royal wedding any more than the white supremacists did. In the Men Going Their Own Way subreddit, the regulars are still grousing about it, lamenting that the over-the-top spectacle of it all was giving women hope that they too could land a prince — or, failing that, at least a man with some cash in his bank account.
The royal wedding, one British MGTOW complained, assured ordinary women
that no matter how much of a train wreck you and your life is….you can still fool your dream cash cow in to signing that contract to make him your cash cow for the rest of your life.
Most of the MGTOWs ire, like that of the white supremacists I wrote about on the royal wedding day, has focused on the person of one Meghan Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex.
The white supremacists hate the fact that she’s mixed race. The MGTOWs, well, they hate pretty much everything about her, from her age (an ancient 36!) to her background as an actress to her allegedly inadequate arse. Oh, and they hate the fact she’s mixed race, too.
While most royal-wedding-watchers oohed and ahhed over the photos showing the happy couple looking at one another with obvious adoration, one MGTOW Redditor managed to find one picture of Markle with a slightly strange expression on her face that, in his mind, indicated the presence of pure evil. (It’s the photo at the top of this post, minus the demonic redness I added to it for this post.)
Needless to say, the MGTOW community agreed with this assessment, and then some.
One fellow, whose reach exceeded his grasp, vocabulary-wise, suggested that Markle’s “evil” look was evidence that this golddigger was staking her claim to an exceedingly rich vein of gold.
In another thread on Markle, MGTOW Redditors expressed their astonishment that an actual prince would marry such an allegedly average-looking woman.
No doubt her knees are too pointy as well.
But the alleged longness of Markle’s face was less distressing to Reddit’s MGTOWs than her extremely advanced age. Why on earth would Harry allow himself to be ensnared by a women “pushing 40” — she’s 36 — instead of a 19-year-old virgin of the sort that MGTOWs and other Manospherans fetishize? Why would Harry accept a used woman when he could have gotten one mint-in-box?

Just in case anyone here doesn’t already know, Prince Harry’s dad (Charles) also married in his early 30s, and his wife was a virginal English Rose barely out of her teens, the sort of person he and other people thought would be easy to control and groom in a similar way that these creeps fantasise about doing to any young girl unlucky enough to fall into their clutches. That ended in a sham marriage and eventual divorce, of course.
Despite being British myself I have little to no interest in the Royals, but now I see that Harry and Meghan have pissed off everyone who should be pissed off, indeed should exist in a constant state of pissed-offness (if they don’t already), I am loudly cheering their union!
There are legitimate reasons to criticize the royal family and the the royal wedding. The woman Prince Harry chose to marry, isn’t one. For fuck’s sake, he married the woman he, *gasp*, loves. The nerve of that guy.
Or, just perhaps, he and his older brother have learned that it’s probably not good for a virginal, inexperienced English girl in her late teens or early twenties to marry a much older member of the inner circles of the royal family on very slight acquaintance? That turned out to be terrible for both parties, and the resulting meltdown played out in public. William and Kate had been together for years; Harry picked a woman of his own age with some romantic and professional experience. The “suggestions” of this group are, unsurprisingly, dumb, dumb, dumb.
They look so happy, though! Sounds like a lot of sour grapes from those people.
They have all this simplistic “science” about relationships, but in reality, a great many people prefer their peers.
Imagine wasting your life worrying about such things.
One thing that stuck in my craw that is not consistent menz-lore, how is someone over 30 “about to hit the wall”? Isn’t this an age-gated thing, and it is set in like, the early 20s for these jackasses? At least be consistent with your nonsense mythologies.

I’m just so relieved that they aren’t setting the wall age at 16 or 18 that I don’t even care about the consistency.
I’m pretty sure the anger over this wedding is just pure jealousy. Since anger is the only acceptable emotion for these cockwombles, they can’t just deal with their envy of someone else’s charmed life and move on. They have to rage and rage and rage some more.
All that intelligence (snerk) and logic (LOL), yet it’s as though they haven’t figured out that what someone finds attractive in a partner isn’t dictated by what MGTOWs claim.
It’s better for the rest of society if they want to whine away the years, bitterly cursing women for dating who they choose to and they aren’t choosing the MGTOWs – who have obviously not gone their own way since we can still hear them (and read their angry ranty internet spewing) – carrying around those red flags like they do makes it convenient for identifying them as persons to avoid getting involved with.
Harry and Megan seem to truly love each other, they weren’t pressed into marrying as some medieval-like strategic match, and even a Prince is entitled to preferences in what he finds attractive (Megan gets the same, even at such an *ancient* (snerk) age of 36!)… I won’t be shocked if the newlyweds announce that they are expecting a child fairly quickly (in the first year or so) as both have expressed they want kids.
These men are apparently incapable of seeing any woman as an actual person, rather than an object/status symbol. If you assume that all women are empty, interchangeable things instead of individuals with, you know, personalities and thoughts, then the only criteria with which to value women would be the same you would apply to any given commodity. That’s why, in their hateful little minds, there’s no reason to choose any woman who isn’t brand new, mint condition, and as conventionally attractive as possible, so long as you can ‘afford’ one.
What a disgusting outlook.
