“The wall” refers to the age at which women become so unattractive that literally no one wants to have anything to do with them. Depending on which misogynist you ask (figure of speech there, don’t actually ask ’em), you’re gonna get a different answer, but usually it’s between 20 and 30.

And no, of course there’s no wall for men. Men age like wine. (MGTOW are vinegar.)

Loooong time lurker, first time commenter. I never had the nerve to actually participate, because English isn’t my native language and I’m always afraid of sounding like a pre-schooler trying to talk about serious issues.
Nevertheless, I just wanted to jump in for a moment and tell you how much I admire everything going on here. I became aware of MRA topics around gamergate time and the sheer hatred, the violent fantasies, absolutely shocked me. It still does. It makes me afraid to a degree that’s unhealthy (I tried to watching „The Handmaid’s Tale“ last year and after four episodes spend the rest of the evening bawling my eyes out, because I knew for a fact that there were people out there who would gladly make all of this happen).

The brighter side for me is this comment section. It’s like applying a soothing lotion, after you read the madness above. It puts things in perspective again and I leave this website thinking, that those idiots must be a minority. And they’ll hopefully remain a minority. So, thank you for that.

And just to add a few word on topic… you can not win. No matter what you do, you can not win. If you wear makeup you’re a deceiving sl*t and if you don’t you’re the ugly bi**h that let’s herself go. I guess, the few women who tend to wake up looking like they stumbled out of a fresh-faced cosmetics ad, would be acceptable for MRAs.

I absolutely love make up. I get all google eyed when I see something that glitters and things neatly arranged in all kinds of shades. And since I found a long lasting lipstick, that makes it through two meals and some kisses from Mr. Toebean, I am completely obsessed with all kinds of dramatic lipstick colors.

Come for the unhinged screeds, stay for the linguistics.

As a guy, I would absolutely wear makeup if I had any idea what I was doing and weren’t too lazy to actually do it.

I’m sure this Avyctes guy–and the 50+(!) people that upvoted him–is only spending his hard earned Corporate America-bequeathed money on Wittgenstein and Backgammon instead of internet porn and video games. Actually, he’s probably too cheap to actually pay money for those. Pay for your porn, guys, gals and enbies!

And he’s clearly contributing much to society going on Reddit screeds like this. Yessiree, that’s what well-adjusted and productive people do.

Just as a side note, is there any better scam going now than “this will trigger the libs”? “This trucker hat will trigger the libs!” “This Patreon will trigger the libs!” “These adult diapers will trigger the libs!” And the people falling for it really think they’re the independent, ideology-free thinkers who have a grasp on how the world really is. If I was an unscrupulous cad, I can’t think of a better gig.

I’ve always hated wearing makeup, so I only do it for special occasions that I have to get extra dressed up for (weddings, funerals, job interviews, etc.).

And I seem to remember getting some bullying comments in middle school and high school (when I hadn’t even hit the wall yet!) that NOT wearing makeup made me a mannish lesbian dyke or something to that effect, so this thing about MGTOWs hating makeup (which has come up multiple times on this site) really puzzles me.

Also haven’t there been posts here before about how women who don’t shave are oppressing men with the sight of their disgusting body hair? Why is shaving good but makeup bad? They’re both ways women alter their natural appearance to make themselves look more attractive!

(And why don’t men wear makeup? If it makes women look more attractive, wouldn’t it be just as effective for men? I’d probably be less anti-makeup if men were expected to wear it too, but only women are, so that doesn’t seem fair to me.)

I’ve only just come back to WHTM and noticed the last few posts have some weird red flags from feministguy. How long has he been around?

@feministguy I’d really recommend lurking for a bit and go read the old posts about incels and MGTOWs and maybe check out some other feminist sites for a better understanding.
