It’s like a regular Peyton Place, but with Nazis. Violent Alt-Nazi doofus Matthew Heimbach, leader of the so-called Traditionalist Worker Party, has gotten himself into a little bit of trouble with the law, and his followers, and perhaps most of all his extended family after allegedly assaulting his wife and father-in-law after allegedly being caught in flagrante delicto with, er, his mother-in-law.
It’s a novel way to try to fulfill the Traditional Worker Party’s mission of “defending Faith, Family, and Folk,” I’ll grant you that, but Heimbach had apparently been honoring Family pretty enthusiastically with his mother-in-law for several months, if you know what I mean and I think you do.
According to the police report on the incident (which you can find here, courtesy of the Southern Poverty Law Center), Heimbach’s wife and father in law (now ex-TWP spokesman Matt Parrot) discovered the affair last week, and after being confronted with this, young Mr. Heimbach and not-quite-as-young Mrs. Parrott said they had broken it off.
But dad and daughter didn’t believe it, so they decided to spy on the star-crossed couple to see if they could really manage the difficult task of not boinking each other. The amateur spies snuck up on the trailer where the two had gone — did I mention that they all live in the same trailer park? — and peered in a window only to find that, well, the affair wasn’t quite over. Matt Parrott literally watched himself get cucked by the leader of the organization he had sworn loyalty to.
At this point, the police report notes, Heimbach’s wife
got scared and ran away while [Matt Parrot] stayed behind watching the encounter on a box through a window. While doing this the box broke and he ran around the trailer to confront Matthew.
It’s like a fucking Coen brothers movie.
In the scuffle that ensued, the report continues, the lovely lad allegedly choked his father-in-law twice, leaving him briefly unconscious both times. Matthew H. fled to his trailer, where he was later arrested for the alleged assault on Matt Parrott and for allegedly assaulting his wife in front of their young children.

On the police report, all those involved declared that their occupation was “white naitonalist.”
When a reporter at the Southern Poverty Law Center called papa Parrott to ask him about the whole weird thing, the not-so-proud papa-in-law bitterly declared that
I’m done. I’m out. SPLC has won. Matt Parrott is out of the game. Y’all have a nice life.
He’s not the only one quitting, evidently. The TWP web site is currently down and the future of the group (or whatever emerges from all this mishegoss) is in doubt.
Over on Gab — the social media site that Twitter-banned Nazis have made their home — some mourned the TWP implosion.
A few hoped that something could be salvaged from the wreckage FOR THE SAKE OF THE (WHITE) CHILDREN.
Others gloated.
A parody TWP account offered a new slogan for the now apparently non-existent group.
Still others riffed on the same theme.
And of course there were the memes.
This fellow, meanwhile, knows who the real villain in all of this is: WHITE WOMEN.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure that the current troubles of the Alt-Right have a lot less to do with female betrayal than they do with the fact that it’s a movement full of macho shithead losers overflowing with hate and rage and bitterness and ego.
Also the fact that people have been standing up to them every time they try to organize anything.
With all the horrific crap that’s going on these days, it’s sort of nice to see some of the world’s worst humans bickering and demoralized.

Like Alan and Jo said, it’s just a pseudo intellectual way of saying looks or appearances. Bad optics = looks bad. Good optics = looks good. (((optics))) = the Jewish media won’t like it.

So “optics” is how something is perceived in the media and consequently by the general public, and “(((optics)))” is how something is perceived in the evil Jew-run media and consequently by the general public that the evil Jew-run media so evilly deceive.

Far-right parties always seem prone to infighting and acrimonious self-destruction, but this is one of the more colourful examples so far.
“Bad optics” is also a phrase used by people who want to talk about something their group did which they know was bad but they don’t want to acknowledge that. It gives them enough distance to be able to talk about not doing that thing, while sidestepping any admission of guilt.
For example: “The way our drones keep killing innocent people is bad optics.”
In this case, the phrase (((optics))) is perfectly incoherent – it’s a mash up of anti-semitism with a misunderstanding of PR to create word slurry. Like, I get the overall impression, but the person who wrote it is still treating semantics the way ravens treat shiny things.

Ok, so according to White-Women-Are-Evil, them white bitches are all unfaithful, but… what about Matthew? Wasn’t he being unfaithful to his wife by banging his mother-in-law? By misogynist logic, it’s the mother in law’s fault only. Men are always up for sex and not only that, they can’t help themselves if it’s offered. They are physically incapable of saying no to sex. This “fact” doesn’t in any way disprove the notion that men are inherently the only rational and superior gender because blah, blah, blah half assed evopsych. Women are inferior and always hysterical but we’re still supposed to be responsible for male behavior when it comes to sex. Therefore, infidility, sexual harassment, and rape are all the feeeemaaale’s fault. There are no known exceptions to this rule.

Oh, but as much as they hate non-white men, they blame women for them too.
Some of them say that immigrants and refugees are in white dominant countries are there because feminists want to destroy the white family and western civilization. Therefore, it is the fault of women (who all count as feminists if they aren’t Nazis and/or feMRAs) if any brown or black man in a “white country” hurts a woman.
Then there’s my favorite theory. This one is courtesy of Thunderfoot and his fans IIRC. You see, women are only attracted to assholes and refuse to fuck nice men. Because women like alpha male thugs, it is all women’s fault that the asshole gene still exists. This little theory does not explain why nice guy/beta male/omega male genes are still in the pool. But it is nice because it allows misogynists to blame literally any bad male behavior on women. This include violence on the part of MOC. Since black and brown are all alpha thugs in their worldview, it’s all our fault that they even exist in the first place. They still want to kill or oppress all MOC, but they only need to do so because feeemaaaales.

Just wanted to underline this point, because it illustrates one of the key double-standards at play in the broader media-driven zeitgeist. In order to scare “the straights” (for lack of a better term), all you have to do is slap footage (or even just still images) of black-hoodied masked young people skulking about. Doesn’t matter if they’re the ones being assaulted, doesn’t matter if they’re unarmed, doesn’t matter if they’re even part of Antifa, if there’s any reports of property damage, BOO!–scary Black Bloc Antifa, bloogily boogily, be afraid, white suburbanites! They’re organized, they’re radical, and they might smash a window or two!
Meanwhile, a trailer park failson like Matthew Heimbach is arrested for assault and what I’d describe as spousal abuse, but why isn’t this guy being plastered all over the news as a threat to life and limb? If I were really cynical, I’d say that it’s because Heimbach’s white supremacy only reinforces the status quo, but I think the failson aspect still works to belie how dangerous a guy like Heimbach can be. People can laugh at his schlubby bespectacled face and doughy countenance (although as a guy who fits that description, I don’t) and mock him for his obvious life failures, these are the very same people that make life living hell for those with less power. So while Antifa is being conflated with Black Bloc and portrayed as hyper-competent organized agitators to frighten the octogenarian Fox News viewer, Heimbach and those like him are laughed off as the hapless tools they are and while Heimbach is in custody, those like him continue to harass vulnerable communities both online and off.
And it works. The context of every Antifa-related discussion is “You mean those masked goons that vandalize businesses?” while the Heimbachs get “Haha, oh you silly Nazi scamp. Back to the trailer park with you!” These narratives need to change and fast.
The Heimbachs have that Jerry Springer guest whiff to them, which also encourages people to disregard them as not that big a deal.
