I believe that’s David’s decision to make. And, it’s not that simple, unfortunately. I have a good job, with decent health insurance, but I had to stop seeing doctors for my cognitive issues because I can’t afford it.

Not to sound sassy, but David’s talked specifically about seeing doctors and how they’re advising him to withdraw from medication, which is part of why he’s so sick. Also, there’s literally a term for people who experience a migraine that lasts for months-chronic migraine.
Longest migraine I’ve experienced – 18 days, in a series which lasted 2 months.

Just wanted to second Jenora’s observation about the Toronto housing market. It would be fantastic if these high-rises were constructed as affordable living spaces, but just from the way they’re marketed as luxury items (the ads for new condos always involve some bejeweled model who looks vaguely like Ivanka Trump), these are some rich ballbag’s idea of an “investment” and not actual living spaces for your average wage earner.
I’ve seen the communities around the Toronto core (referred to broadly as the Greater Toronto Area) like Pickering and Ajax are building a lot more single-family homes which are probably much more affordable; GO (the Southern Ontario regional transit) can do what it can, but frankly, the whole transit infrastructure needs to be upgraded if workers are going to be priced out of the core.
