Sometimes it’s hard to tell the neo-Nazi hate site The Daily Stormer apart from the Incels subreddit. Case in point: A recent post on the site — which has returned to the public internet after being temporarily banished to the Dark Web — from Stormer publisher Andrew Anglin offering “Further Proof That Women are Disgusting Sex Perverts Who Must be Sanctioned by the State.”
So what’s got sand in Anglin’s underpants this time? A news report about five Denver nurses who were suspended from their jobs for several weeks after it emerged that they’d opened up a body bag to look at a dead man’s junk. Anglin, who assumes all the nurses in question are female, uses the incident as a launching pad for a rant against women in general.
“All things women are involved in involve some kind of gross sexual perversion,” Anglin declares, before opening up a can of evo-psych so thoroughly rotten it seems to be tainted with botulism.
The biggest lie in the universe is that women are sexually innocent. They are biologically evolved to promote this image of themselves, specifically to hide the fact that they are twisted sex perverts, the lot of them. What’s more, men are evolved to be blind to this sexual sickness in women, because at one point in history it was beneficial for men to not have to think about just how sick these bitches actually are.
The entire existence of the human female revolves around sexual derangement.
This doesn’t even make sense as an evo-psych “just so” story. But never mind, because Anglin is ready to move on to his harsh prescription for all of womankind:
The only thing that can control this is a strong state, or legalized beatings.
In a photo caption, Anglin adds that “Women AKA filthy sluts have no business leaving the house.”
Anglin’s post is so thoroughly hateful towards women it reads almost as though it’s been copied and pasted straight from the incels subreddit.
I don’t know if Anglin is literally “involuntarily celibate” himself, but I sure hope he is; no woman, not even another neo-Nazi, deserves to be saddled with someone like him.
I think that what’s important in Anglin’s screed is the (hoped-for) outcome, not the (alleged) cause.
He’ll grab at the tiniest piece of evidence to say that women need to be controlled.
Does he think all women or most women or even 10 percent of women are what he would call sex perverts? I vote no.
OTOH, does he have a readership that wanks to his stories about how women need to be controlled? Yes.
And the customer is always right.
I’m pretty sure that if there was a Venn diagram of incels and neo-Nazis that it’d be pretty damn hard to tell there were two circles and not one, at least from arm’s length.
I don’t have mental stamina or energy for anything more literate, so I just want to suggest to Anglin that he go fuck a cactus. One with a zillion tiny spines, to be specific.
Screw this world, really.
@David Futrelle
If I’ve learned anything from women’s clothing catalogs, it’s that the shirt in question is a Boyfriend Shirt. (She took the shirt off his back — and looks adorbs in it!)
Five nurses at Denver Health Medical Center were suspended for three weeks after they inappropriately viewed a deceased patient’s body and talked about it, a hospital spokesman confirmed to Denver7 Investigates Tuesday.
A tip to Denver7 said the nurses disciplined admired the size of the deceased patient’s genitals and at one point opened a body bag to view parts of the body. A hospital spokesman confirmed details of the incident.
A different nurse heard one of the disciplined nurses make a comment in May that the nurse felt was inappropriate and reported it to hospital staff, Denver Health Medical Center spokesman Josh Rasmussen said.
“Multiple staff members viewed the victim while he was incapacitated, including after he was deceased,” a Denver Police report says. “The complainant, Risk Management for Denver Health, made a mandatory report.”
The report says the incidents occurred between March 31 and April 3, 2017, but weren’t reported until May 8.
Denver Police confirm they responded to the incident but say the decision was made to have Denver Health Medical Center handle the issue internally.

On the one hand, that’s gross, not to mention unprofessional.
On the other hand, if admiration of his genitals by a bunch of nurses is the worst thing to ever happen to this person, then he’s a pretty lucky dead guy.
I’d love to read Andrew Anglin’s detailed plan for how the state will closely monitor female nurses while they’re — I dunno — saving lives.
I’d also really, really like to read Anglin’s carefully thought out plan for getting non-Nazis to hate nurses:
Nurses Rank #1 Most Trusted Profession for 15th Year in a Row

Snort.
@Kat
I don’t think that’s fair/necessary, and risks framing it as almost positive (‘admiration’), given the existing cultural narrative about men receiving female attention. No one is lucky for having a bad thing happen to them just because things that could be seen as worse may happen. Gross or creepy is all that’s needed, as an action it’s violating, we wouldn’t downplay it if this were a dead woman, and men did this.
I know they’re not all like that and the job is important and difficult and unfairly undervalued, but I distrust and fear nurses as a result of the awful personal experiences I’ve had at their hands. It’s a potential anxiety trigger rather than intentional dislike of all nurses or anything, so not really something I can help, only aim to manage, and is not such an uncommon fear for disabled people, who may have more experience of the healthcare system, I think. Especially mental health nurses, and also other mental health professionals. Healthcare professionals in general hold a lot of power over patients and some do choose to abuse this.
OK! STOP!
Speaking as a nurse, I’m kinda tired to hear that these corpse-curious nurses are constantly gendered female. They could be guys. Heck, I’ve known male nurses (and paramedics) who’d get a thrill out of that.
So : #menarenursestoo #allnursesareawful #hashtagsaredumb
I think the problem is that the workplace can be very desensitiving. Sometimes you are literally a flesh technican, taking care of some meat whose owner is absent. You keep dumb graph plotting algorithms and smug doctors happy and only get more stress for thanks. Unless of course, it’s all in vain, in which case the meat dies and the person behind (well, interwoven with) it is gone forever. The occasional grim joke in the staff room helps keep the mind together and some –like jokes while the patient is under– walk the line between dark and funny and creepily abusive. But there definitely is a line and those nurses seem to have lost sight of it.
Humans are still animals, nothing new here.
On another note, nasty necrophilia implications aside, perverted nurses are a pretty widespread fetish. Humans have done much worse throughout history (i.e.: actually preserving “impressive” genitals of dead men).
@Leo
“we wouldn’t downplay it if this were a dead woman, and men did this.”
No, but we probably wouldn’t hear about it, either. Men have power-over, and are allowed some leeway to abuse that power-over, as long as the victim had less power than him and wasn’t “badly” hurt.
To make things clear, I am in no way saying that this guy was “lucky” to be gawked at abusively. (Also, FWIW I’m pretty sure that Kat wasn’t saying that, either.) What I am saying is that he is “lucky” to have spent his life in a privileged enough situation, that being vulnerable to, and abused by, the “wrong” gender became a “man bites dog” story.
Yup, I get that’s not what Kat meant, of course! I just don’t think it should be downplayed at all, and someone’s privilege isn’t really as relevant to bring up if they actually are an innocent victim of a violation.
@KND
Sorry! Just realised I made that mistake, on going back and reading that it was just Anglin’s assumption they were female, and had been too hospital-phobic to read the actual news story properly.
#notallnursesarelikethat
@Chris
‘Humans have done much worse throughout history’ could be used to excuse an awful lot, though. Humans are animals? Yes, we are, ones with strong cognitive abilities and altruistic/cooperative tendencies, allowing us to know when something is wrong and not do it. You can preserve all the ‘impressive’ genitals you like just as long as you get consent first.
@Leo
“and someone’s privilege isn’t really as relevant to bring up if they actually are an innocent victim of a violation.”
Actually it’s a perfectly relevant thing to bring up if we’re talking about how other people (such as Anglin) are viewing that violation. Which is what the topic is. ;p
Edit: But I guess I can see where you’re coming from. We do seem to have a bias against seing privileged folks as being truly “innocent” victims.
@Leo
No, I don’t think it’s a positive thing that these nurses — female or male — gawked at this guy’s genitals. It is indeed a violation of his privacy and dignity.
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had bad experiences with nurses.
@Buttercup Q. Skullpants:
All this time I thought Leviticus was just hateful and misogynist. Now, after all this time, I find out that it also has some entirely sensible content.
@Scildfreja:
Amen to that.
Shoves a slice of Canadian bacon, jalapeño, and pineapple pizza into her face
Hey guys, what are we talking about?
@Kupo
We’re talking about how much of a disgrace it is to call a pizza Hawaiian just because it has pineapple on it, when that pineapple is paired with the likes of Canadian Bacon. I may have never been to Hawaii, but AFAIK even McDonalds knows enough not to serve their breakfasts with Canadian Bacon.

The best pizza is pepperoni, pineapple and capsicum. Fact.
They don’t have Egg McMuffins in Hawaii?
@Buttercup,
Tag yourself 😀 I’m Swinkleshine!
@PV
Like I said, AFAIK McDonald’s breakfasts are either served with Spam or Portuguese Sausage (Linguicia) in Hawaii.
Linguicia and pineapple on pizza is fucking amazing, BTW. If you ever get your hands on some, linguicia makes an amazing thin crust pizza.
But what am I saying. I was just being a food troll, because Canadian bacon is clearly just glorified ham. :p
I’ve seen a lot of far-out misogyny on this site, but I think this is the closest I’ve come to somebody saying flat out “I need to control women’s sex lives!” Seriously, the projection is just thick as toast; would Anglin here ever turn these hideous words around on a guy who happened to be promiscuous or heaven forbid was curious about a cadaver? I’m thinkin’ not. Worst crime a man can commit to these asshats is being too well-adjusted. Or gay.
I know it goes without saying, but Andrew Anglin has some serious hangups on sex and women and basically the planet Earth.
Said Banananana Dakry: “I just want to suggest to Anglin that he go fuck a cactus. One with a zillion tiny spines, to be specific.”
That would be a cholla cactus. Sat on one, once. Not fun.
Aren’t all of these reactionaries the ones who are constantly trying to prop up the idea that women are innocent in the first place?
@dslucia:
That’s the Madonna side of the Madonna-whore dichotomy, which is the defining feature of traditional misogyny.
@Steven Dutch
Actually I was thinking of a cactus that my grandmother, maysherestinpeace, had. I’ve heard it called either ‘teddy bear’ or ‘bunny ears’ cactus, but its spines are like a zillion tiny glass shards of pure evil. Both when they stick in you, and when you’re trying to get at them with tweezers afterwards.
Although cholla sounds plenty evil too.
