So Trump delivered a real barn cross-burner of a speech last night in Phoenix. Then police fired tear gas and flash-bang grenades at a crowd of protesters that was just standing around outside. And then other things happened. Let’s go to the Tweets.

I mean, it’s pretty clear the troll is just being an asshole.
What else can we say when everything it says is a blatant lie, far too blatant to warrant a demonstration? I mean, this
shows the troll is lying. And if he’s obviously lying about one thing, why not others? He’s pretty clearly a white nationalist, or close enough.
OT: Sometimes my brain annoys me. I enjoy difficult challenges, but I also have problems with losing. So I wind up starting up a video game, having fun for a bit, rage quitting, and doing the same thing over and over again with one or many games.
The way this makes me more qualified for the presidency than dipshit? I can acknowledge that I am losing or that there’s things I don’t know or don’t understand very well, and I am actively working on dealing with that in a more healthy fashion.
Ooglyboggles
I haven’t changed accounts. And keeping the same avatar is just one of many reasons the charge of “hiding” or being a “sock puppet” makes no sense.
That last post of Melvinturd’s is so far from reality that it would take the crossing of an Einstein-Rosen bridge to even reach reality in this lifetime. I hope this one is just lulz trolling and doesn’t expect any of that to actually be taken seriously.
Which is funnier? Trump being a second wave feminist? Trump’s allies all being liberals? The lack of realization that spending cuts would come from the legislative and not the executive branch?
Oh, good, another troll goes for “I don’t know what I’m talking about” as a strategy.
Plus, the Monstrosity has gutted the government without having to cut spending. In the past month or so, there have been three articles describing how different government departments have been gutted: State (“Why Has Rex Tillerson Belly-Flopped as Secretary of State?“), Energy (“Why the Scariest Nuclear Threat May Be Coming from Inside the White House“), and Housing and Urban Development (“Is Anybody Home at Ben Carson’s HUD?“).
In a few months, there will probably be similar articles for every other department. Collect ’em all! Except Defense, because blowing up foreigners is an essential task of the US government, and probably Justice, because suppressing minority votes is the only way to ensure the Republican Party’s survival.
@Ms. Merkel, Tear Down These Sugar Walls!
It isn’t a crime
If one’s too incompetent
To do a good job.
Cutting funding to Planned Parenthood is nothing substantive? The attacks on voter rights are nothing substantive? His tax cuts on the rich are nothing substantive? His cutting of Meals-on-Wheels and afterschool programs and PBS and EPA regulations are nothing substantive? Backing out of the Paris agreement was nothing substantive? His attempts to kick transgender people out of the military is nothing substantive? His Muslim ban is nothing substantive? His appointments of dangerously inept and uncaring individuals with clear conflicts of interest is nothing substantive? His dangerous dick-measuring contest with Kim Jong-Un is nothing substantive? His continuation of the war in Afghanistan is nothing substantive?
Just what do you think is substantive?
@Sockpuppet
Your personal incompetence has no bearing at all on whether you are guilty.
Speaking of Melvin from a few days ago, I didn’t get around to ragging on his nym. The character Melvin Udall from the movie As Good as It Gets is a MGTOW. Not in so many words, I suppose, but angry, lonely bigot? Yeah, MGTOW. Anyway, and spoiler alert, the point of the movie is that angry, lonely bigots are angry, lonely, and bigoted, cos they have horrific personalities. And, hey, maybe being a jerk to women is a choice you’d be better off not making. Now, the movie doesn’t exactly play this message in the best way possible, but, unless our troll was using ‘Based’ veeery ironically, add 1 more to the list of things he belligerently misunderstands
And he says Trump is one of ours…
Also, the “tear down these sugar walls” part of his moniker is creeping me out. For those who don’t know, sugar walls is slang for vagina. From the Sheena Easton song. I finally remembered the rapey comment he made in the other thread and am not inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt that he just gave himself the name as a silly play on words.

@Dalillama
Oh, thank you. I thought Javanka was slang for covfefe.
Imagine being so far right that Trump looks like a left-winger. I think we’re witnessing the ultraviolet end of the political spectrum, where strange patterns appear in the flowers and bees lurch drunkenly over a flat earth.
@WWTH
That context really just makes my blood boil. Thanks for bringing it up, I wasn’t aware of it.
@Buttercup Q. Skullpants
I’m not prepared to accept or believe that this misogynistic little shitstain for a second has been telling us the truth about ANYTHING, including what he perceives Trump as. He knows Trump is trying to be Hitler, he knows Trump is an ultra-right White Supremacist and has been dismantling everything important about the United States. These things are simply too obvious to be discussed or missed by anyone.
@D
Don’t you think most of that “gutting” or “dismantling” stuff (as one of your articles calls it) is being exaggerated to get clicks and to drive turnout based on fear? Most of the people running things are either career government bureaucrats or Obama holdovers. And a lot of the “dismantling” seems to amount to little more than vacancies in political positions, which can be blamed on Democrat obstructionism in the Senate as much as anything else. And why would these things be of such great importance to feminists? Why would this inspire such rage and contempt? Is it all about the Access Hollywood tape and Hillary losing?
@Amnesia
Most of what you listed are either things he yammered about but never really did or that Congress would need to do and hasn’t (like the transgender issue, or cutting PBS, Meals on Wheels, Planned Parenthood, etc.), or things that are no different from Obama (like continuing pointless wars that were started before he took office), or things that were just symbolic (like the Paris climate agreement that wasn’t even a real treaty). Other than appointing Gorsuch, he hasn’t done much substantive that can’t be easily reversed by the next President. And he isn’t fighting particularly hard for a standard Republican agenda or the nationalist/populist agenda he was pretending to support during the campaign. Forget about the persona. What’s he really done that feminists are so upset about?
@Buttercup
Your comment was witty, demonstrates knowledge of science, and you even made the Right blue and the Left Red (as it should be). You’re not so bad.
If you have multiple cats you need n + 1 litter boxes, where n is the number of cats in the household. Also it’s best to clean them daily with multiple cats. Some cats dislike the smell of other cats’ urine.
Has anything changed in the household lately? A routine, food, location of furniture, litter brand, new pets? She could be protesting a change.
The only other reason I’m familiar with for this behavior is pain/illness (doesn’t have to be related to the litter box), but you say she doesn’t seem ill.
@Troll
You can’t be obstructionist if you don’t hold a majority, not in a democracy. Democrats don’t right now because white people decided to piss America away.
Your feminism shall be intersectional, or it won’t be feminism. Frankly, all of us should be concerned when there is a literal white supremacist in office attempting to destroy our country. He’s as un-american as they come.
Appointing Gorsuch on its own is a travesty against the American people which deserves the harshest possible condemnation, and being run out of the country on a rail. There’s also the blatantly obvious threat of him attempting to dismantle the election system itself, which I expect him to do when he’s finally ousted from the seat he has stolen from its rightful owner.
You mean aside from the nazi rallies he keeps throwing, the constant gaslighting and lying to the American people, the dismantling of multiple government agencies, and how he admitted on live television that he’s a white supremacist? Nothing pretending there, he became president to become dictator.
There is no persona. He’s not capable of censoring himself. He has told us all who he is and what he plans to do.
Better question. How much do you hate America that you aren’t upset about what he’s done, and what he plans to do?
So you believe he didn’t actually want any of those things he claimed to support to pass? That if there wasn’t so much opposition, he’d just give up on these measures or find some way to sabotage them before they actually went into action?
I think you might be confusing your political fanfiction with reality.
I’ve been reading WHTM for years and never commented.
Now is the time. I was at the Phoenix protest last night, and although people were understandably angry, I didn’t see anything that deserved that level of force from the police. There may have been a water bottle or two thrown, but the police responded in an unprecedented and sudden manner, without first telling the protesters to disperse. It felt militant, and surreal, like I’d been transported to a dictatorship.
So did Hitler’s at the beginning. Really. Look it up.
Any reasonable German can tell you what Trump looks like. I’m one. He looks like someone trying to take over the US, as if he was taking over a company. He looks like someone who likes white supremacists (and so far, they still love him, ask Richard Spencer). His Red Hat Slogan? Make Germany Great Again was almost literally what Hitler claimed he was aiming for. He looks like a white supremacist with poor fashion sense.
You’re missing enough context that it’s like you are willfully ignoring anything other than your own viewpoint. You bring up things irrelevant to the discussion to derail into something that you think you can debate.
Actual logic is harder than you think it is. This is why people keep calling you a troll. You ignore things that don’t fit your world view. You pick random points, throw them at people, and hope nobody notices the irrelevance of all of them to whatever your point was in the first place.
Stop just going from one random thing to another, “whatabout” this “whatabout” that “whatabout” the other.
Engaging in actual dialogue means you listen to the other side, not just keep throwing crap to see what we don’t address, then saying “you didn’t address X”.
Thanks to others who’ve hit the PRATT’s again and again.
ETA: I think the police in AZ were jumpy because of Charlottesville, and thought “We better disperse the crowd NOW”. Still overuse of force, but I can see where it comes from. This is why Nazis love seeing things like “protester killed” in the news. (Some even admitted it on twitter).
AHA Howdy melvin – So did you think about what I wrote in the previous encounter?
I really don’t think your latest comments worth much argument. Yes, some of the most egregiously right wing trumpers are gone, but who knows what will take their place.
To argue that shorn of its obvious nazis, the republican party under trump suddenly becomes left wing simply shows that you are a fool, a liar or both.
Is the community this blog serves more European or global than American? Is that why Trump is being viewed through such a distorted lens?
@JS
I responded to specific points that others directed at me. I’m not “going from one random thing to another”.
When you say you’re German, do you mean a current citizen/resident of Germany? Are you not an American? Is the hysterical and obsessive focus on Trump designed to appeal to an international audience so as to get more clicks?
@IgnoreSandra
Are you also a non-American? Is that why you don’t understand that in the U.S. Senate a party can engage in obstructionism despite being in the minority?
Or maybe you can see him more clearly from a distance. Why would you see him more clearly from close up when you are willfully blind.
But I think I can translate this; what he is actually asking us is this,
“Now that the trump presidency is falling apart around him and impeachment is on the horizon, aren’t you happy?”
Happier, troll, happier.
I’m curious as to what Melvin/Ms. Merkel/TFM thinks feminism is about – what its goals are, in other words.
