I suppose there must be some secret yoga-contortionist-gym classes these people attend just so they can see things so differently from the rest of the world.

This bigoted moron is right, but not the way he thinks he is. Everyone who isn’t a Nazi is sick of Trump, and (as always) he makes things worse for himself every time he opens his lying mouth. Between his liberal-baiting response to Charlottesville and last week’s “fire and fury”, I hope we’ve reached a tipping point in America’s willingness to endure Trump.

Once again, note a Nazi boasting about becoming sexually aroused by violence and expressions of hatred. (One of them said something similar last week when Trump threatened North Korea.) I’d say more, but I don’t want to violate the comments policy.

For a minute I couldn’t quite understand how, even as much of a racist asshole Drumpf is, how he couldn’t bring himself to even lament the death of Heather Heyer as an innocent victim.

And then it struck me like a bolt of lightning: she was a woman, and thus not human to him. Her death means nothing more to him than if someone’s dog were run over.

So, in the hands of a less racist and white nationalist leader, Trump’s points about Washington and Jefferson could ignite a needed national dialogue about the foundational slavery that is the roots of much of America’s wealth. Maybe we shouldn’t be glorifying slaveholders quite so uncritically.

However, Trump is not that leader, so pointing out that Jefferson held slaves is likely to just shock those who worship at the alter of the American secular temple.

I watched (or rather, listened) to the press conference… He talked a lot about the march the day before, and how that one was very peaceful.

He also talked about how the counter protesters didn’t have a permit to be there.

He knows that the march the day before didn’t have a permit, right?

Also that the ones marching the day before were like, actual nazis?

I think maybe we should have seen this coming (and maybe many of you did, but I didn’t).

He was obviously speaking very reluctantly yesterday, pissed that he had to even say anything at all after his lukewarm comments on Saturday.

Then he comes home to his beloved rat-nest Drumpf Tower last evening and the streets are filled with people who very loudly and obviously hate him.

So today he was gonna show all of us! Nobody makes der Drumpfie say shit he doesn’t want to say, NOBODY!

I can only hope his removal comes as swiftly as possible.

Whenever my Republican family gives me this line I wonder aloud whether all the history books are being burned or something. Their silence probably speaks volumes. “The left can’t destroy history, that’s OUR job! 🙁 🙁 :(”

*I propose that if we don’t want to forget history, we should create statues of Confederates/Nazis surrendering in defeat with shame written clearly across their faces. You know, so we don’t “forget” history.

I’m still holding out for prison terms for the entire bunch.
