Our long national nightmare is over: I’m back!
For the last week or so, as many of you know, I’ve been on a little quest to break the back of my perpetual rebound headaches by going cold turkey on the meds that were likely causing the rebounds. Which meant basically a week of raw, constant headaches which, at long last, seem to be easing. So I’m going to ease myself back into blogging again (and cross my fingers that there won’t be any big relapses).
Thank you all for your patience. And thanks to those who donated to the pledge drive in my absence! I will have a proper thank you post up shortly!

Do you have a scalp massager thingy? If not, you might like it, and it might relieve some of the tension-related causes of your headaches. I’m assuming a tension component of course! Given the issues of prolonged keyboard use, reasonable I think. Either way, I hope that your headaches clear up!

Marshb, well, I weaned myself off the meds, but have been off entirely for maybe a week. Also dramatically cut my caffeine intake (though it wasn’t enormous to begin with).
Scildfreja, a scalp massager sounds pretty good to me right now. Even if it doesn’t cure my headaches.

I’m glad you’re feeling well enough to post, David, and I hope you continue to improve. You were missed.
I recently went off caffeine as well (although I find that I can’t avoid it 100% – I drink a few black teas monthly). And, as a fellow migraineur, let me just say that I understand.
