Today’s MGTOW of the Day, fresh from the Men Going Their Own Way subreddit, has a rather unique perspective on the relative values of men and women. As he sees it, women are vastly inferior creatures whose only value stems from the fact that they can er, carry seed.
Men, by contrast, are … buses.
I’m not sure MGTOWs have quite mastered the fine art of the metaphor yet.
@ kupo & fran
Real name and this photograph if possible please.

I need to be able to post a comment and then, if necessary, respond to any replies.
ETA: the twitter thing is so I can sign up to stormer. If you can do that without any risk to yourself that would be peachy.
@ everyone: it was the camera sound effect that gave her agita. she was NOT amused. sounds strange. 0/10 does not recommend to other cats
@Sir Alan
Sounds good.
Okay, so just so I have the whole thing under control: you want a twitter account that uses your real name and that photo for the avatar, correct?
I recall you mentioning something about needing a disposable mailbox: do you still need that or is that unnecessary now?
@ Shiya:
What I’m trying to say is that 1) SFHC didn’t publish your info, therefore didn’t dox you (doxxing isn’t looking someone’s info up, or even noting that it’s possible to look it up, but rather literally sharing that info online, which nobody here did); and 2) anyone with malicious intent who would want to dox you already knew all about reverse-image search and didn’t require that input to have looked you up.
That’s kind of like if you posted using your real name, and then someone mentioned that this name could be googled, or searched on Facebook or LinkedIn or via one of those people-finder sites. I mean, not everyone knows this, but many or most do. And then if you complained that this person doxxed you, that’d be analogous.
I think it’s in everyone’s best interests to be as safe as possible over the internet. I’m VERY cautious about sharing anything identifiable, even in communities where I’ve been posting regularly for many years. I never share pictures of myself, don’t name any of my past or present employers, and only provide generalities about my life experience or identity. I don’t see this as paranoia so much as self-defense. Even so, even with those precautions in place, I’m quite aware that there are ways to track down a fair amount of info about me.
But then I’ve lived a kinda strange life, and been stalked a few times, and remain twitchy. Your mileage may of course vary.
So I’d suggest that, rather than feeling victimized here (which you really weren’t, honestly!), your takeaway might more constructively be that it’s good to be careful what you share on the internet, and that several people offered input in that regard, wishing to be helpful.
If you need a temporary email address, you can use forward.cat:
https://forward.cat
Simple as can be. It forwards emails to your regular email account and it deactivates after a week. I’ve used it before when I wanted to get in contact with people here but didn’t want to post my email publicly.
@ fran ETA & Katz
It seems the only way to sign up to that site is through twitter, hence the request.
Heh, I’m really letting the patriarchy down with my ‘boys can’t STEM thing aren’t I”?
@Sir Alan
Gotcha.
Wait one second.
@Alan
You don’t have to answer this unless you want to because I can totally understand you wanting to keep your identity private. But is that picture of you? For some reason you look totally different than how I picture you if so. Not in a bad way just in a different way. I thought you were maybe a bit younger and also clean shaven for a random example. I don’t know why but I make pictures of everybody on the internet in my head maybe it’s because I read so much and I’m used to making those pictures. Okay I’m babbling I’m going to post now
I found a throwaway email service that twitter seems to accept. https://app.getnada.com/
Did you need the account created for you? It’s probably best not to share passwords even if they’re for a burner account.
@Collateral: Oh no, I definitely agree! Like I said, I’m even grateful to SFHC for pointing out what should definitely have been obvious before someone truly malicious could act on it. And yeah, I noticed when I initially posted that gravatar had supplied that pic, and was like, “Hey, what’s the harm?” because I had forgotten google and that was a mistake.
However, again, anyone who is doxxed is doxxed because they posted something, that SOMEone, could search with to find their personal information. I made it super easy, I agree. But if someone was like, “Hey guys, if you do X you can find their IP, and then if you do Y you can find their address, and I don’t think that’s actually them!” I hope you can agree that would be doxxing, though indirect. Doxxing is posting anyone’s information that they did not post themselves by searching for it. I did not post my own name and career history, OR the method to find it. Yes, the tool was simple and I was ignorant, but it doesn’t change what happened.
Anyway. I’m repeating myself, which I’m sure is exhausting, haha. I 100% appreciate your sincerity and everyone’s well-warranted “what are you doing stop posting pictures of yourself in forums” advice, haha. Trust me. I definitely should know better, and I appreciate everyone’s help and kind wishes, especially yours, thank you. š I burned my hand on the stove that I already well knew was hot, but thankfully the burn is minor.

You don’t need the email for anything, but if they ask you for it, you can use it.
It’s all validated and ready to go. Have fun.
Shiya, I’m done talking about this; I’m stepping one beyond your show.
Alan, I can’t wait for yours to begin!
KatieKitten, Alan’s old avatar (the one where’s he’s wearing a stockingcap) always reminded me of Alan Rickman. I don’t know why…

Btw, I posted a response to your back in the original ‘check out NYT’ thread. Nothing exciting. Basically hello and skin one up for me sort of thing.
Oh cheers Fran, you’re a star. Now let’s see if this works. Stand by.
Oooh, Fran, you delightful complicit minx!
Hey all. What did I miss?

Oh my.
I’m on the bus close to my stop so a more detailed post will have to wait a few, but thanks to those who stuck up for me against the concern trolling.
