The competition, as always, is fierce, but Nazi trollster Andrew Anglin has won today’s Worst Human Being on the Face of the Planet Award for a post in which the Daily Stormer publisher praises former mixed martial arts fighter Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver … for beating his ex girlfriend nearly to death.
On Monday, Koppenhaver was sentenced to life in prison for the brutal 2014 attack, which left his ex, model and former porn actress Christy Mack, with as assortment of severe injuries ranging from a fractured eye socket to a broken rib.
Anglin thinks the sentence is “insane.”And while he isn’t exactly what you’d call a fan of the mixed-race Koppenhaver, he thinks Mack deserved the beating, apparently because she has a lot of tattoos and at the time of the assault had a shaved head.
“I don’t usually defend deranged brown savages,” Anglin writes in a blog post today (archived here).
But I’m going to right now.
UFC fighter War Machine has been sentenced to life in prison for assault and battery, which is insane in itself. …
But on top of the nuttiness of “giving someone an ass beating” resulting in life imprisonment – the bitch deserved it, and no one anywhere can make an argument that she didn’t.
As proof of she “deserved it,” Anglin posts a picture of Mack, posing nude with a shaved head, showing off her tattoos.
“Okay so this is the bitch,” he writes.
You’re going to tell me she didn’t deserve to have the shit beat out of her?
Are you insane?
In addition to questioning the sanity of those who don’t think women should be beaten because some random Nazi skinhead doesn’t like their haircut, the Daily Stormer publisher also declares Koppenhaver himself to be “completely unhinged and insane,” something Anglin blames on Koppenhaver’s racial heritage.
“[I]t’s called being mixed race,” Anglin writes, briefly addressing Koppenhaver directly.
It causes psychological problems, which obviously you do have, which I can see simply from your hipster tattoos. …
Obviously, you deserve to be in prison AT LEAST just for being the person that you are.
HOWEVER – in this specific case, you did not do anything wrong.
Despite Koppenhaver’s “psychological problems,” Anglin finds himself agreeing with many of the stranger statements the MMA fighter has made over the years.
[A]lthough War Machine definitely is insane, he is also sort of a respectable type of insane.
Like, he had this meme about how anyone should be able to murder anyone at any time if they were capable of it.
Yes, that’s right. Anglin thinks this is an example of something “respectably insane” and kind of cool.
He also did things like call for the assassination of Barack Obama and said that men in modern feminist societies are treated worse than Jews during the Holocaust.
He has also said many other things that some people might consider to be awesome.
As a result, Anglin puckishly announces,
I’m writing him a letter and offering to publish a weekly column – “War Machine’s Advice for Men.”
Ha ha! Anglin is as terrible a comedian as he is a person. And he is today’s Worst Human Being on the Face of the Planet.
@Prophet309
Thanks! ^o^
@Kupo
You’re welcome. What does that emoticon mean? After almost 20 min of looking, I still can’t find if it means shocked or happy.
@Prophet309
It’s supposed to look like a moogle (like the little guy in my avatar). It’s a happy emoticon. 🙂
@Kupo
Ah, gotcha.
The creature in your avatar is quite adorable. ^_^
@Katie
I know just how you feel, I’m the same. I hope all is going splendidly with your outing and that it was fun.
@Propet309
That part, plus I used to take a form of martial arts that involved grappling, so I’m pretty good at tossing people around.
I stopped a while back because I got injured while performing a kick. I’ve been considering starting back up now that we’ve got Nazis to punch. Taking martial arts classes is hip now all of a sudden.
ETA:
Ah, that reminds me. While I was there, I used to run into a lot of awful brodude toxic man-men like this War Machine creep who were really into MMA. It was about ten years ago, so MMA wasn’t as popular as it was now.
This was also when I used to spend time on awful martial arts forums where people would challenge each other to fight in real life, and I’m not kidding about that.
Now, I’m sure even y’all might say, “Fran, if they’re meeting up at a public boxing gym or martial arts dojo and sparring with teacher supervision, that’s not all bad.”
That’s true, but they would also just meet up in public places with gloves and sometimes shin pads, and do the thing.
Also, you weren’t super cool unless you were learning at least three forms of martial arts. You had to have your Krav Maga and your Judo and your Systema and your Wing Chun and so on under your belt all at once to be a Super Cool Person.
Sorry for the double post, but I feel like you should all know I’m just a blue belt and only know one martial art.
I’m not super cool. Also, I kinda hate MMA and think it’s dumb and violent and stupid.
As you can guess I didn’t much care for the Martial Art Enthusiast crowd. I’m only really getting back into it because more normal people who don’t wear Tapout branded clothing every day with Oakley shades and have Truck Nuts (you know, those plastic testicles people put on their trucks) are doing it, really.
I would also prefer it if nobody here challenges me to fight them in real life, if y’all were thinking of doing like the Super Cool MMA Brodudes and challenging people to fights in real life. 😀
ETA:
>:C
I specifically requested the opposite of this.
@ fran
Bullshido perchance?
I quite liked the ‘smackdown’ thing. It was the ultimate in empiricism. I’ve suggested it to MRAs who do the ‘women can’t fight’ thing every time there’s an action film with a female protagonist. Somehow they’re never willing to put their money where their mouth it.
I’ve never understood why people wear that. It’s like doing a range of military equipment called “Surrender”.
As to the knobheads in MMA thing, wholeheartedly agree. I won’t bore the others here with a polemic. Suffice to say I’ve noticed a big difference in attitude between MMA and even TMA, which do attract wankers, and the RBSD world where everyone is really nice. I think it’s a fantasy versus reality thing. It’s easy to be a blowhard where there are rules to hide behind, less so when you actually have to put some skin in the game.
@Sir Alan
MMA dragon girl.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way:
The very same!
Honestly, I don’t mind if others are organizing meetups to up to fight people in a normal dojo setting. That’s strictly business, but about ten years back people would just meet up anywhere with gloves to do the thing, and that’s just kinda ridiculous in my opinion.
I think Bullshido’s Smackdowns are what spawned the now internet-famous “FITE ME IRL” meme that’s so popular these days.
Bullshido perchance?
I’m gonna hazard a guess that they think it means they’re going to be making others tap out, which is kind of a reach, if you think about it.
In general, MMA is kinda dumb, so I agree with you on that front. Ostensibly, it’s supposed to be the Toughest Sport For Tough People, which I really don’t understand. You (not you, the MMA brodudes) want to see people bleed and get punched in their soft spots?
Why not just legalize Colosseum-type gladiatorial combat all over again? That’s the natural end-point of their strangely specific desires, I reckon.
@ fran
Heh Bullshido, the people who heard “wretched hive of scum and villainy” and immediately thought “Business model!”. It’s ironic though that they’re still infinitely nicer than the people David writes about. They only rag on themselves; and they’re terribly self aware. I went there to try out some lecture notes. They responded positively but then asked “What’s your next step; testing on humans?”
As for the fighting thing, must confess I don’t have a problem with that. It’s all consensual and I’m a big proponent of bodily autonomy. For me (and I accept other opinions may differ) the only arbiter of what someone does with their body is the person themself.
I still wouldn’t wear Tapout though; some things are just objectively wrong 🙂
@Sir Alan
Yes, Bullshido exemplifies the kind of toxic brodude behavior I associate with that sort of thing. You are right in that they keep their awfulness contained within their own social spheres, which may be their one and only redeeming factor, in my opinion.
It could be just the Japanophile in me, but I lean more towards the type of martial arts tournaments you would see held in Japan. They are almost surgical in their methods; very clean and restrained, but you don’t hold back. If you watch a few clips on the Youtubes you can actually hear the blows striking flesh and bone very loudly. It’s quite exciting.
@ fran
I do have a bit of an interest in traditional martial arts generally. And it’s always worth studying every available source for inspiration; there are a couple of karate techniques I use myself. To quote the great man himself:
As for the bone crunching bit, it’s much nicer to watch than to experience. I’ve spent more than my fair share of time hopping around going “Ow, ow, ow!” 🙂
@Sir Alan
I believe you entirely.
A story: I watched people get their bones broken while sparring in the dojo I used to frequent.
Honestly, I got off easy with just a minor knee injury. We used to hit each other pretty damn hard.
One very memorable incident was when this guy who was really big – like almost 7 feet – kicked a smaller chap, who blocked it and broke the bigger guy’s pinky toe (by accident! He didn’t do it on purpose!).
@ fran
Oh I’m quite big, but I can relate many a tale of lost teeth and injuries to smaller people. I’ve got a nice video of a five foot six lass breaking my nose (not the first, doubt if she’ll be the last)
Of course, being a nipper in the 70s, in my head I’m a combination of Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali and Evel Kneivel. I refuse to let reality disabuse me of that belief. No matter how often it tries. 😀
