Ladies! The jig is up! Men are discovering that even though some of you seem, like, really hot, you’re actually all quite unattractive!
In the Men Going Their Own Way subreddit, a few of the more enlightened souls have uncovered the secret truth about women: they’re basically weird and disgusting and only male sexual desire makes them seem sexy.
I don’t want to alarm any of the fellas who might be reading this, but I have heard that most if not all females are also infested with cooties. Best stay away!
@chessman
Sorry I don’t care about your boner. Was that adult enough for you?
Will you actually respond to me? You didn’t when the nightmare troll was threatening rape upon commenters. You were in that thread but very silent about that form of cyber bullying. Your silence condemns your true thoughts.
You see, every thread you come into, regular readers can smell your dishonesty miles away.
Was that adult enough for you? Or is my nym masculine enough for you to read? You don’t fool anybody here. At least make another sock puppet.
@ Chessman
I’m curious to know what YOUR exact definition of cyber bullying means. I want to know what it means to you, not wiki, but you.

That’s turning out to be a question for the ages.
Inconstant Reader – loved the video, it reminded me of this
From the old days of Dr. Demento (before syndication.)
ETA – And now I’m off to make some dinner! ===> whoosh!
@Chessman You are clearly someone who doesn’t like, or respond, to cyber bullying. Could you explain why you said nothing about “YourGreatestNightmare” bullying the rest of us earlier?
@Earlier picture on page 2: Nice cabbages.
You’re not being bullied, Chessman.
On a previous topic discussing how some mgtow (not all men) want to dehumanize women by viewing them as pieces of meat to bury their attractions towards them, you state “can someone explain to me how this is even misogynistic…? if anything this looks more like a misandrist hit-piece;”
None here have to hold your hand while we walk through explaining that women are, indeed, human like you. Many do not, in fact, want to hurt you or be anyway malicious towards you. We simply want to live our lives peacefully. I can hope you can realize that on your own as an adult. It isn’t bullying to point up some flaws in your statements.
And here, ‘harvesting gazes to get free shit’ sounds like your own fears of, I assume, losing what you’ve earned or being taking advantage of manifesting and projecting onto strangers. Most women these days, as Fishy Goat mentioned, have jobs and can pay for their stuff. An even on dates, it’s pretty common to split the bill. The 1950s are over, and they aren’t coming back.
Some folks were talking about how they wish they could make their overly large boobs transfer some of their weight to other girls in need.
I desire much larger boobs. I need them so that I can properly do the thing and be an Evil Sorceress in real life. It’s part of the uniform, along with wearing tight black leather bikinis and a cape.
I also want people to look at me because I’m ridiculous.
Chessman’s definition of “cyber bullying” appears to be “literally everything that doesn’t address me in any way that assumes I’m royalty”.
Chessman barges into someone’s house, takes a shit on their floor, lies about it, and then claims victimization because nobody applauds him, misrepresenting a very real phenomena as what is happening to him.
Dude, we know what the bullshit “harvesting male gazes” is about. We know more about your movement than you do.
Sigh. You’re not being cyber-bullied. Grow up.
WWTH,
How odd! I’m revisiting that Martin thread right now!
I got a sympathy backache just thinking about that
Wymmens not fawning all over him and offering to suck his peepee, obvi
Sorry for the lateness. Social anxiety makes posting complicated. For some reason only the troll confrontation makes sense all of the time.
@Francesca Torpedo
I could totally see your OC selling hot dogs on the streets of Manehattan( assuming omnivory was allowed). OC’s were one of my favorite parts of the fandom. Some of the most beautiful artwork came out of people’s representations of themselves.
I get the transforming self-representation thing. It manifested differently in my interactions with the brony community though. I was spending a lot of time on an MLP-themed image board for several years and I was one of those people that had to post a pony pic with every post, often to create emotional subtext. I started out a Pinkie Pie poster, switched to Twilight Sparkle and started on Discord shortly before I last existed that social space. My Pinkie Pie reaction image folder has 1,063 pictures.
I did not feel I had the creativity to make a good ponysona and actually making me as a pony felt oddly uncomfortable, I liked seeing what others made though. I was one of the ones very confused about why I liked the show so much.
@Paradoxical Intention
If it’s ok to ask what is the story behind the first, and where did the second end up being expressed? Sometimes I feel a bit jealous, I can’t think of characters so I’m basically a self inserter with everything headcannon/fandom related.
@Francesca
I want bigger boobs too. It’ll really help my Succubus halloween costume, and also me.
Then I can do the whole evil seductress thing if I wanna, or more likely break men’s faces if they’re dicks about me looking amazing. But mostly, I wanna wear dresses that look natural. Most dresses are designed around the wearer having boobs, for reasons that make some sense.
I had a similar conversation with a friend who didn’t want their uterus and period stuff. Ah well. Life doesn’t give us what we want.
Also, I’ve spent the day hugging stuffed animals. I feel accomplished <3 Can never do that too much. Something about the different sensations from holding one really close to not doing that and it just helps me.
Also, apparently it's now "Cyber bullying" to call a troll a troll, even after the troll explicitly supports genocide.
Huh. Back when I had an amazing 38-26-36 figure, I got none of those things. I did get free drugs sometimes. And motorcycle rides. All the biker dick I wanted. The occasional pinch on the ass by a guy with a hook for a hand. I think I did my male gaze harvesting wrong.
@Brony
Well, my thing was this: at the time I entered the fandom years ago (2013), at this time the show and the fandom were both horribly Eurocentric, what with Equestria being a simulacrum of America and the UK, and since your ponysona is supposed to be a 1:1 representation of yourself, I settled on a zebra because at the time the fandom’s prevailing atttitudes dictated that zebras were analogous to black people, and normal ponies were white people.
Furthermore, since I wanted her to be interesting and subversive, I decided that if she was from Zebrica, she would be from a part of Zebrica that is similar to the Muslim-held areas of Africa, since Zebrica=Africa, and so she wore a hijab.
When people started drawing her as a Space Marine I had them draw her wearing a skintight spacesuit and a space hijab.
Kinda like this:
I like the fandom because it reminds me of how we used to just make a lot of original characters and custom stories in the Star Wars fandom. It’s as flexible as the Star Wars fandom was: if you want to make a neo-noir story, you can. Medieval fantasy? Sure. Sci-fi? Yep.
And so on.
@Sandra
Same, with the dresses. I also want to look stunning in a bikini.
I would like larger hips and a narrower waist and smaller shoulders, mostly.
I took a pocketbook full of Male Harvested Gazes and tried to pay for some groceries with them.
The cashier wanted money! Even after I helpfully explained that Chessman said it’s a valid form of currency.
Harrumph! I had to get out my debit card, loaded with money I earned from my job!
THE GAZE IS A LIE!
The real problem Chesyman has with a woman enjoying being looked at is consent ruins the fun for him.
When a man enjoys looking at a woman, the person benefiting is the man. He is deriving pleasure from seeing her. The pleasure is his alone.
When a woman knows men are looking and enjoying looking and she enjoys them enjoying looking, the benfit is mutual.
Now, a man noticing beauty in a woman no more takes anything from her than he could take from a sunset, so long as he leaves it at quiet appreciation. She takes nothing from him, just as a sunset takes nothing from people who enjoy looking at it.
If he doesn’t like looking, same thing. She has lost and gained nothing either way.
But for men like Cheesy, everything is a zero sum game. If he looks and likes he has, to his estimation, taken something from her. If she likes him looking, he has scored no points in his bent mental game.
If many men enjoy looking and she enjoys them all looking, he sees her as scoring more points. He has been beaten in a game only he is playing.
This is why men like him enjoy seeing nudes that women meant to be private, but hate women who share their nudes openly.
It isn’t “vanity” that disturbs him. It is that he can’t take from her what she is happy to share.
I must have counted wrong, because I thought I would get two more male gaze harvests before summer, but it’s already Spring 20 and it looks like I’ll only get one more harvest, and then I’ll have to find something else to plant for the rest of the season.
@SFHC, cuss you for making me almost bust out laughing in front of my kids. Far too much to explain! Plus they’re better off not knowing who Alex Jones is yet.
@PeeVee – your male gazes must have expired? I mean, I just can’t imagine how that went wrong?
Regarding boobage: I’ve known a few women, I think 3 or 4, that got breast augmentation. One was a breast cancer survivor, one was a very slim woman who had just always wanted slightly larger breasts, and I can’t remember why the other 2 had the procedure. None of them got anything out of proportion with her frame or anything.
But I have known far more women that have had breast reduction surgery. The backaches, the neckaches, the straps digging in, the incredibly expensive custom-made bras (when you can even find them, let alone afford them), the poorly-fitting clothing, all of it is a nightmare, from what I gather. I can easily name a dozen women of my acquaintance, and if I sat and thought about it probably another 5 or 6 would come to mind.
I personally always had fairly middling breasts (B-cup) being from a line of women with more of the “junk in the trunk” kind of build than the busty type. That changed when I breastfed, though, and they never really did go back to their original size, although now I’m older and waaay fatter and they are waaay saggier.
Good thing I harvested all that valuable male gaze when I had the chance!
Also, this was on Twitter today and I just have to put it somewhere because it is impossibly cute and awesome:
And again we see that Cheesy refuses to join us in reality.
You need to find an excuse for how angry it makes you that attraction is often a one way street. You enjoy pretending to believe having a body you want but can’t touch, makes a woman greedy in some way. You feel like she is depriving you, owes you. She doesn’t.
You want to believe there is something wicked about a woman who enjoys being desired, just like you wish you could enjoy being desired but cannot. You’re jealous and bitter.
As to what women actually get for men liking the look of them, Emily Autumn says it better than I can.

Relevant to the earlier discussion of bald ladies, here’s a video of Karen Gillan getting her head shaved for Guardians of the Galaxy.
@Trollman:
Actually, a sickle works better for that.
Works great on dicks, too.
@Francesca
OOOH. I really do wanna wear a bikini sometime and have it look, like, half decent. I think I could be amazing.
But I’m more a fan of formal ballgowns. I really like them, with the petticoats and the detailing and crap I love em.
@Trollman:
Oh my, aren’t we giving ourself airs all of a sudden. Since when have you been an adult? All you do is take juvenile swipes at this page and pester the regulars. Shoo, kid.
@Chessman:
I am also interested in your definition of cyber-bullying, and whether or not threatening to rape somebody over the Internet counts. I hope I’ve expressed my request in a sufficiently mature way. Thank you in advance for your response.
For real, though, being bi/pan is awesome. I feel like I would be missing out on so much if I was merely monosexual.
@LindsayIrene – I concur. As Anne of Green Gables says, more scope for the imagination. 🙂
Re: male gaze: lately, I’ve had two men look at me – and talk to me – just because I was reading books that they liked or were curious about. Neither seemed very interested in my breasts. Does that count?
