“Are Women Really Human?” asks the MGTOW meme of the day

Click to see this full size

MGTOW Friday continues with this lovely meme, found in the Men Going Their Own Way subreddit.

You’ll be happy to learn that most of the MGTOWs commenting on the meme do in fact believe that women are human, and possibly even deserving of some of the same rights as men.

“Women are human and have certain human rights,” says someone calling himself Whiskeybandit67. “They are assholes, but human.”

Ayy-Mayy-ZoSuperwoah, meanwhile, thinks it’s “twisted” to say that women aren’t human.

Yeah women don’t really contribute much value to humanity, but that doesn’t make them less than human. Whoever wrote this is deranged. Deprive them of the right to vote maybe, and maybe to work some jobs, in other words, strip some circumstantial privileges, but to strip them of human rights? Like what, exactly?

I guess this is what passes for a voice of reason on the MGTOW subreddit, huh?

@Chessman:

So if you feel you have no reason to speak out when other people get cyber-bullied, then I see no reason why I or anyone else should speak out when you get cyber-bullied. (Not that I think what I or the other people on this page are doing to you is cyber-bullying.)

like i said my policy with trolls is non engagement,

But you’ve called us trolls and you’re engaging … hmmmmmmmmm it’s almost like you have one standard for women and a different one for men who hate women …

White women have benefited more from affirmative action than POC of any gender. However, white men are still at an advantage over anyone else in the workplace.

The studies I’ve seen back up anecdotal experience. White men just have to be competent. Sometimes they don’t even have to be competent. They just have to show up. And they move up the ranks. Everyone else has to go above and beyond to have any chance at getting promotions. Competence means stagnation. Mistakes mean punishment.

I’m so tired of watching white men skate through life and then complaining about how oppressed they are because affirmative action.

Yes I know that not all white men breeze through life. But disproportionately, they do.

ok, men dont really expect women to defend them generally, it’s one of those aspects of sexism you probably don’t think of because it doesnt effect you in your little bubble of privilege

You think like this, “As I am a crude ass, and do not read the books, so there is no one in the world who reads them; rather, when I let my braying heehaw, heehaw resound, or even let out a donkey’s fart, then everyone will have to consider it pure truth.”

In lighter news, you know that rally Trump organised opposite the Washington March For Truth in the hopes the former would shoot up the latter*? Only about 25 people showed up.

*Because we live in a world where “The US president openly wishes to see Nazis slaughter innocent protestors” is “Lighter news.”

I saw a report earlier that there were “dozens” of Trump supporters there . . .

Well, two dozen, anyway. And Drumpf blew them off to go golfing.

FWIW, I do think about it, and I do defend guys who are actually being bullied when I see it. (My work in the school system has given me quite a few opportunities.)

Third incident at Vauxhall now. Reports of three attackers stabbing people at Borough, one with a (possibly) 10″ knife.

Reporting incidents at London Bridge, Borough Market And Vauxhall. Those locations are all quite close and on the same road. People saying van mounts pavement and strikes pedestrians. 3 to 4 people exit van and start stabbing people. Police tweeted the ‘run, hide, tell’ thing. Rolling cordons extending from London Bridge.

@Fran

Ehh I find writers often fall in either of two clear-cut squares : those who are insufferable snobbish assholes, and those who aren’t. A friend and I started publishing a thing when we were 16 and ended up banding up with a whole bunch of people from all over France and sometimes beyond, belonging to the second category, whose work we collected and published along ours. Issues were sold on a pay-what-you-want basis so of course there was usually barely enough money to print the next one, and that earned us the scorn of a bunch of old white male assholes who dismissed our work as kids fooling around. Meanwhile, I spent a few blessed years in a world between the lines, and a lot of those were train lines.

Sadly the thing is now defunct, but most of us still write and try to keep in touch – some of us even seem like they might be getting somewhere with the writing, what with all dat experience in alternative publishing. Me I got three novels I need to finish, but I’ve had trouble writing for the past year or so. It’s always on the surface of my mind though, so I guess I work 24/7 and it’ll be smooth sailing if and when I do manage to get back to the actual writing down of words on paper/a screen.

Hey, if you ever feel you want me to read some of your stuff, I’d be happy to. I uh would share mine but it’s all in that obscure native tongue of mine.

Much sympathy for all our friends in London. You’re on the Chicago news right now, NBC also reporting three incidents.

I had some other thoughts here, which I forgot.

Hope everyone is safe.

As a white man who’s lived in the United States my entire life, I wish to state that – in my experience and based on everything I know – Chessman’s statements would only be useful if you needed to fertilize your rosebushes.

Laugher at Bigots, Low-T Inbetweener Weener

It sucks what happened in London. I too hope everyone is safe. No doubt this has been seized upon by white nationalists &c. to besmirch refugees.

But at least Trumpy’s latest endeavour has failed! (Trumpy, you can do stupid things!)

Since we talking about writing now, and also since i dont have any information on what is happen in London, i will tell my experience.
I am writing some short stories, not on english obviously, but mainly i written poems. My problem now is that in 2015 march i had some bad thing happen, which i wont tell, but since that time i feel like someone has put their hand over the mouth inside my brain. Before i look and see and words coming easily, i am not this one who would take years to write the poem – now i have same feeling but i cannot transalte onto words like before. It very frustrating. I dont write for publish and i dont share – only with my mum and some family member other, i just doing becuase feels natural for me and release tensions. Now i see but feel like something stopping me. I wrote one short story begining of 2015 for my girlfriend and she very enjoyed this one. I had one finished also for my mother but just needed for editing. But now i cannot finished this one because some part is too much like some thing that happen in real life and it makes me upset to read. Since this time in 2015 i have tried others, one poem i have write since then, for my girlfriend. I complete last year but i did not yet share to her ((( i just hoping now this sensation for me is not forever.

I learned from a young age that men and boys were more likely to be predators than protectors (this included relatives) so whatevs.

So was I. I was taught that too. So were most of the women I know, period.

This whole “Men protect women” thing is basically a lie men tell to avoid addressing the problem they have with attacking women for no goddamn reason.

RE: London

I’m unhappy to hear about this incident. I hope everyone is okay, and I wish I could do something tangible about it.

Trump immediately calls for the courts to “return our rights to us and put the ban back into effect” (paraphrased) but remains fucking silent on the Portland terrorist.

I hope everyone is okay in London. My thoughts are with London.
