The fellas at internet garbage site Return of Kings are celebrating Pride Month, a little tardily, with a post attacking Facebook for adding a “degenerate” rainbow flag to its menu of “like” buttons, which users can access by liking the official LGBTQ@Facebook page. Or, as the author of the RoK piece, one Rufus Winnfield, puts it, the “button is only active if you show active approval for homosexuals on the site.”

So I recently rewatched The Room, probably my favorite bad movie of all time, and was struck again by how much director Tommy Wiseau’s views of women mirrors those of Men’s Rights Activists and, well, a pretty high proportion of those who post regularly on Reddit.Â

Early in the Trump administration, amateur and professional White House watchers noticed something rather striking about the assorted photo ops that the new President and his handlers liked to stage for the press: they all seemed to feature gaggles of smug white dudes, with the occasional white woman added to the mix to provide a little bit of gender if not racial diversity.

This is appalling, but unfortunately not even slightly surprising: An “involuntarily celibate” Redditor has openly admitted to raping an unconscious woman.
Naturally, he is completely unapologetic about it, declaring that “[r]eproduction is objectively the point of living. You can’t expect someone to let such an opportunity to slide.”

UPDATE: The Republicans are delaying the healthcare vote until after July 4th recess. This is a victory for us, but it’s not over. KEEP CALLING! Hit the Town Halls!Â
This is it, folks! The GOP is pushing for a Senate vote by the end of this week on their plan to uninsure millions so they can give tax cuts to the super-rich, aka the American Health Care Act or Trumpcare. If it passes, it will be sent back to the House, where a vote could be immediate.
