I’m pretty sure there’s only one MRA/MGTOW in the world and all others are his socks.
“All this is is just another form of saying that it you’re a white male, you can’t have an onion.”
Was this really all about onions? You know, onions are not particularly hard to grow, even for white males, like yourself. They pair well with tomatoes and garlic, so growing them all together if you have room is great. If you can also grow some basil and oregano, you can make a killer tomato sauce. All you would need to buy is some olive oil or butter, since you seem to be well stocked in the salt department already.
Taking up gardening and possibly cooking would also be something to channel all that anger into. Just saying…
@Victorious Parasol
I know. I am always impressed when someone can identify a sock because all the trolls sort of blend together for me. Of course, I rarely engage with the trolls here, so that may be why I can’t tell them apart.
contrariwise, “just because I’m not a woman does mean I don’t “understand what it is to be a woman”
I commented on this thread Thursday (when it was still about t-shirts)… wow, this has gone off the rails!
@ Axe;
Well, clearly all my hard work a few pages back is going to be ignored, so I’ll just delve into Miggy’s…oddly specific rants.
If that’s what helps you sleep at night, cuppycake.
http://www.relativelyinteresting.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/evidence_peer_review.jpg
“I, a man, clearly know women better than women themselves! No matter what women say, I (a man) know best about what women think and how they work! And if the feeemales say otherwise, clearly they are lying, for I am obviously always correct!”
And now we get to the oddly specific bits. Did Miggy get his fee-fees hurt by a big bad feeemale and her Chad Thundercock?
Though, one has to wonder: was he like this before she ran off with another man? I mean, one does not simply rabidly shout MRA talking points, there’s usually an introductory period.
I think it was someone here (Dallilama?) who pointed out that all these screeds about how the world is going to come crashing down is going to happen “eventually”.
No specific dates, just “eventually”. Which could be five minutes from now, it could be FIVE THOUSAND YEARS from now.
Either way, I’m just gonna keep doing my thing instead of fretting about the sky falling down because evil feeeemales are off having sex with men who aren’t Miggy.
And we go from very non-specific right back into the very oddly specific.
Looks like Miggy’s ex left him for a banker and he’s still bitter.

“A women”.
But all that aside, you don’t need to be a woman to understand an individual woman. But you do need to be a woman to understand what most women go through. And then you’d need to be part of other demographics (PoC, class, sexuality, etc) to understand what those women go through. Because my experience as a feminine-presenting poor queer person are vastly different than say a black trans woman, even though we might both be poor people, and we’re both feminine presenting.
Each layer of personal identity adds a different flavor to your life experience, for better or for worse.
And you know what they say: You can’t really know someone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.
It’s Intersectional Feminism 101. You don’t get to dictate what other people go through, and if you want to understand, ya need to shut the fuck up and listen.
All these women were in this thread telling you that your ideas of “how women” work is bullshit. You should listen.
But you won’t. Because you think you know everything. And you’re throwing a tantrum because we aren’t capitulating to your “expertise”.
ONIONS FOR MENZ NAO!
Ad hominem: “You’re wrong because you’re stupid.”
NOT Ad hominem: “You’re wrong because [reason] and you’re stupid.”
Learn 2 fallacy.
You might wanna go and read up on asexuality bub. Or at the very least, sex-repulsion. It’s a thing, and if you’re experiencing that, it’s perfectly normal. It’s a thing that happens to people, and sometimes it stems from bad experiences, and sometimes it’s just a thing.
Either way, you’re valid, okay?

First of all, the way women interact with you doesn’t dictate how they “are” as a whole. If women are just that way around you, you’re the common variable there, and maybe it’s not the way women “are”, so much as it’s the way YOU are.
You might wanna do some self-examination there, buddy.
Second of all, even if we take your anecdotal evidence as evidence, there’s no way you could have ever met enough women in your lifetime to ever characterize all women, let alone all women of a specific demographic, in such a manner.

OH NOES MIGGY THINKS I’M UGGGLLLYYYY.

I’m gonna go cry into my ice cream. [/sarcasm]
You’ve never even seen what any of us look like dude, calm down.
Yup, because Donald Trumplethinskin and his ilk run ENTIRE FACTORIES BY THEMSELVES. They just SHIT PRODUCTS OUT OF THEIR ASSHOLES. No help needed from us poor leeches!
Because it’s not like they give people shitty, underpaid jobs to produce their shitty products, amirite? [/sarcasm]
All my “tunnel-fucking” toys were purchased online. And they’re made of silicone.
That’s it everyone, pack it up. We can’t get a head any further up an asshole than this. I can’t even mock this, it’s that ridiculous.
Is there a name for this type of statement (besides “absolutely fucking silly“)?
Let’s just frame this. No context needed.
I’m kinda garbage at public speaking when unprepared, so I will be very pleased with just a quote with attribution. I’m glad you liked it.
Went to the March for Science in Knoxville on Saturday, got soaked and footsore, but I felt like I was participating.
As everyone knows, of course, ladybrains are too small to contain important STEM concepts so of course it was all dudes thereno it wasn’t it was packed with women.Beloved says there’s so many lefty activists on her social media who attack liberals for being elitist and stuck-up and privileged that she feels increasingly left behind by the activist scene.
This is way late, but @Leo from Page 1:
Buddy, I feel you. I took leave of my senses and engaged on Tumblr when I saw a post bragging about leaving a cash gift instead of a tip for a restaurant server, and writing “taxation is theft” on the receipt instead of the tip. Which seems like 1) the sort of pseudo law that gets sovereign citizens in trouble and 2) a screw job on the wait staff, whose payroll taxes go to pay for Social Security and Medicare. They started mocking me for claiming the server was now out on the street, so I let them have the last word.
Shoot, I hope I didn’t miss the meme train! I need to show the millennials that I’m still young and quite possibly hip to their lingo with my clever AND witty gifs. And they’re even appropriate to our visiting troll!

Уау, блин, i missed some good thing here on this thread ? i cannot sleep, 03:45 here. I know what im doing now ?
@Shnookums:
But…those aren’t gifs. They’re just images. 🙁
You’re blowing your cover, grandma!
@Paradoxy
Ooh you just reminded me of something.
I find it pretty rich that Miggs keeps whining about “ad hominem”, when these are things he actually said, in order of appearance starting at page 5 :
Of Nequam :
Of me :
Of PeeVee :
Bonus points for saying in a double-post to the same PeeVee that he has “dignity” – yes, the scare quotes are his.
Of me again (dude, your hate boner is creeping me out) :
And then he went full reactor meltdown and started radiating fuck yous all over the place, which I have to assume is what he meant by “you will see the light”.
I’m sure there’s more but I can only parse so much, I keep getting distracted by my 4 year old niece acting more mature than him.
@PI
They just move really slowly. Like me! But not because I’m all old and stuff, nosiree! I’m still young and hep with all the cool cats.
That Ok Cupid thing is all about reaction to photos only.
I suspect it partly has a lot to do with straight white American men putting a lot less effort into looking appealing than women do (a conclusion that I’ve drawn from the fact that, even though I’m bi, I tend to have my eye drawn to far more women than men when I’m out and about). Male privilege means not having to be pretty.
On top of that, women tend to put more effort into figuring out how to present themselves in photos. We learn our angles.
Thanks for that, LindsayIrene. I learned something.
It makes sense: men aren’t taught to conform to a gaze.
@ Falconer
That would be a great opening to a blues song. Grab your harmonica.
Long time lurker, first time poster here – Hi everyone! I just gotta delurk for this.
*crosses fingers*
Hrm, no. You really don’t know how it is to be a woman in a so-called advanced society unless you’ve been verbally assaulted for daring to like video games and comic books. Or, for daring to have a small bust size and wearing shirts that don’t show off every bit of your womanly figure. And I doubt you’ve ever been harassed for having too much muscle, cuz that’s not feminine. Or been asked at work REPEATEDLY why you can’t just have one of the guys do that heavy lifting, because a small girl shouldn’t have to do such hard work.
Sorry, been needing to get that out of my system and unloading on a troll seems the safest outlet.
ETA – Yay I can blockquote! *feels accomplished*
If it were to expand to profile and personality, sometimes even the hottest Brad Pitt lookalike can be off-putting once they open their mouths and you get to see what lies under their skull.
Like, I don’t care if you look like Idris Elba, the moment you treat me with disrespect or if your profile’s full of garbage like “Don’t bother with me if you’re fat or [insert race here]!”, “I make [amount] of money a month!”, or “BLM is racist against white people!”, you might as well be a banana slug for how attractive I’d find you. (No offense to banana slugs. They’re pretty, but I don’t wanna boink ’em.)
I’m with POM. I also get the impression that Miggs is a young guy trying to appear older. Minter usually just dumped a long pompous screed and engaged no further. Miggs on the other hand, spams and has a meltdown. I don’t think he is MRAL but he is very similar to him. A college student who is having trouble socially and rather than take steps to work on it, he stews in his anger and entitlement and vents by trolling. It’s very unhealthy for him and won’t make him any happier, but trolling and the attention it gets is addictive and self improvement is difficult. So he’ll waste his youth trolling instead of growing and developing like most young people do. I’d pity him, but he’s an asshole. So no mercy from me.
@Alan, re: Falconer’s line
I can give it a whirl.
Went to the March for Science in Knoxville on Saturday, got soaked and footsore
But the crowds around me drove me forth, reminding me that much more
Is done for humankind than the layman may take for granted
Thanks to conservative media spew that’s irreverently slanted
Is that alright?
As entertaining as this thread has been (and the Mammotheers make it all worth every second 🙂 ), I do try to find a teachable takeaway with the troll posts here on the off-chance that some fence-sitter or other happens to see this, so here goes:
You’re right that these issues will be addressed in simple terms, but common-sense? Let’s just set that abused phrase to the side and focus on what it is that the Manosphere actually provides. See, this is where cons and grifts are separated from actual grassroots activism: the grunt work. There was a great Sam Bee segment that focused on some of the remaining civil rights workers and what they did for the cause. A lot of it was tedious and physically demanding, but necessary. Stuffing envelopes, making signs, distributing flyers, calling backers etc. It drove them the point of exhaustion, but the results speak for themselves. This is the part that I honestly think that a lot of our fellow feminist and SocJus activists fall down on because it certainly lacks the appeal of a big rally. I’m guilty of it too; my activism doesn’t go much further than posts like this, but then I don’t really identify myself as one.
But while we may fall down on logistics from time to time, it’s not even something that is attempted by MRAs and MGTOWs. Make no mistake: Reactionary anger to a perceived enemy is all that the Manosphere offers. Like any reactionary movement going back to the dawn of the spoken word, all that unites you is the scapegoat you’ve shared, a scapegoat that changes as needed, but some target or figure that you can blame for your problems.
This is a conclusion of exclusion: I’m forced to conclude that it’s a scam based on the utter lack of an administrative backbone for the movement you claim is so vital. If you are so concerned about working conditions (which in many cases are abysmal), where’s the push for unionization or a stronger regulatory apparatus? If men’s mental health is so important (and it is), where’s the push for single payer health care that can offer mental health services to poorer people? If addiction issues are claiming so many men’s lives (and they are), where’s the pushback on the pharmaceutical companies convincing doctors to prescribe opioids like they were candy? I’ve asked these questions to manospherians all over YouTube and Twitter. Know what the answer always is? “But the feminists….”
See, there’s an obvious class issue that a lot of men are facing, but because you’ve been conditioned to oppose any kind of collective solution (anything, no matter how mild, is shrugged off as “Marxism”), you’ve gone all in on a casino economy and now you’re mad things didn’t work out. It’s harder to admit that you made a mistake supporting the neoliberal policies offered by the right wing since Reagan, so you blame somebody else, somebody who loud and asking for the same basic representation and respect that you’ve taken for granted all your life. It’s the feminists. It’s campus liberals. It’s the SJWs. It’s BLM. It’s always somebody else that’s the problem, never something that requires questioning your worldview. And for all the righteous indignation and handwringing done on YouTube, it never ever goes further than that. That’s the tell. That’s always the tell.
I’d love to be wrong in this assessment because these movements could sure use some extra support, but I’m not optimistic on that front.
@ troubelle
That’s very good. You do seem to have a calling for this sort of thing. Now we just need to get you a suitable Blues name. I’m quite a fan of the “Blind (nickname) (surname)” formula myself.
My father, who died in 2012, spoke about the upcoming “breakdown of society” for as long as I could remember. So, say, from around 1972-3. He purchased a high-powered rifle, and a pistol, around that same time period, for protection from the upcoming mayhem and chaos.
He died in March 2012, believing revolution was right around the corner.
@Fungus
Um, dude, that’s my line. You’re the one bleating about the glories of capitalism; you gotta own that shit. Did you miss the part where I’m a communist, old fruit?
I don’t think Axe owns a suit at all, certainly no suede shoes, and I know my husband hasn’t any.
I didn’t leave my husband, we’re still together. My thing with Axe is concurrent
@Laugher
Yeah, he didn’t catch my reference either.

@LindsayIrene
Probably also the source of the stereotype that gay men are universally better looking than average; it’s hardly universal, but gay guys are a lot more likely than straight guys to put significant effort into their appearance.
@Alan
Planning to poke your eyes out? Those fellows were blind, that’s why they were called that.
@Dalillama re: Alan
I-I mean…I need glasses.
@Alan & Troubelle
Well we know no one can sing the blues like Blind Willie McTell.
But writing it ? Heh. No one said anything ’bout writing.
How about Squintin’ Troubelle?
