Antifeminism and white supremacy: Joined at the hip for more than a century

Not sure that portraying the woman voter here as a total badass really helped the antifeminist argument, but whatev

Men’s Rights Activists, and anti-feminists generally, are forever warning anyone who will listen that excessive feminism could, any day now, bring about the end of western civilization itself.

This is not a terribly new or original idea. And a post on Nazified pickup artist blog Chateau Heartiste today reminds us just how old and unoriginal this notion is.

The proprietor of that blog, James “Heartiste” Weidmann, brings his readers’ attention to a lengthy quotation from a 1911 book by a fellow named Octavius Beale.

[U]nreasonable demands for exaggerated “rights ” of women will always find a limit in the fact that the majority of men will constantly prefer for wives those who do not claim such rights, but who rather seek their happiness in cultivating and developing their specially feminine virtues and attributes, apart from any aim at equality with men.

Take that, feminist cat ladies with no husbands!

These attributes will also therefore be preferably inherited, whilst the extreme tendencies of the women’s rights movement will usually not come into heredity, but will constantly tend to die out.

Well, he was half right. Feminism did die out, for a time, but then it came back.

Notwithstanding, should woman-rule —contrary to all expectations— become so strong in any single State that it will be able to enforce all its demands, even the most extreme, that result could only be possible where the men are completely degenerated.

Degenerated, huh? Can you see where this is going?

Such a nation would soon be supplanted and dissolved by healthier peoples, who might, perhaps, stand on a lower scale of culture.

I believe he is referring to what the Nazis of today like to call “white genocide.” Back in 1911, Beale called it “Racial Decay” — which was in fact the title of his book.

Amazing how quickly and easily Beale slid from antifeminism to white supremacy. Just as so many antifeminists do today.

Heartiste follows up Beale’s dire, racist warning with a dire, racist warning of his own.

After declaring “equalism” to be “a corruption of civilized man’s soul,” he tries his best to rally the troops in defense of their white “tribe.”

[F]emcuntery will only achieve wrecking power in a nation of degenerated men unable and unwilling to act to preserve their culture and protect their tribe. Women are followers and will follow their nation right into the abyss if it guarantees their social standing among peers; as I’ve been saying, it’ll take shitlord men with big balls to bring their women to heel and their nation back to greatness.

Heartiste, seriously, no one wants to hear about your balls.

I was keeping an eye on this thread while watching The Walking Dead. I think one of the zombies could have added more value to the discussion than Bradley.

Dude, next time, at LEAST don’t choose an alias that abbreviates to B.S. You’re giving your game away.

I thought you were the one that first called me a chewtoy along with Axe

I haven’t used the word chewtoy since maybe last year. As per yoozh, you’re thinking of the wrong person. I mean, the clause immediately prior is you apologizing for getting someone’s words wrong. Maybe wanna triple check there, pal ?

Also nice name axe, did you get that from your world of warcraft account?

No, it’s a pun…

Lindsay why do you not seem to understand my comments. When have you ever heard me say that I thought that only women were lazy? Find me a single quote of that or even a quote where I implied such a thing.

I have no problem with admitting if Im wrong why would I need to backpedal and lie? I have admitted I was wrong twice. Are you blind? Or just biased?

Also the flynn effect has been reversing for the last few years.

“However, evidence from recent studies points towards a decrease of the Flynn effect globally or even a reversal in some countries. In the present meta-analysis, we show an inverse u-shaped trajectory of IQ test performance changes in a large number of samples (k = 96;N = 13,172) on a well-known test for spatial perception (the three-dimensional cubes test, 3DC) i”

Thats the reason why the middle class is shrinking.

Couldn’t possibly be the massive effort of the super wealthy to roll back the New Deal, labor rights and the social safety net.

Sorry that’s US centric. I’m not really sure whether or not the middle class is shrinking elsewhere. Bedsores seems to be either be USian or is at least arguing for an USian perspective.

Im not saying just women are lazy, most people are lazy and greedy and stupid.

People who take care of their children and their elderly or disabled relatives are lazy and greedy? That doesn’t even make sense, champ.

You know how many men would love to stay at home and raise their kids and watch breaking bad for the rest of the day instead of working their asses off?

So, why don’t they? Isn’t it their choice not to? I thought social pressures have no bearing on a person’s decision making processes. Why don’t more men choose to be stay at home dads?

I’m also curious as to how much child care you’ve done. I’m guessing none if you think it’s just sitting around and watching TV.

Since you’re a Breaking Bad fan, apparently, what are your opinions on the characters of Walter and Skylar?

I can clean the house in an hour. Other than the washroom which might take another 30 minutes. I can cook an entire weeks worth of meals in 2 hours.
What more is there to do? Folding clothes? Laundry?
I can fold clothes in 30 minutes laundry in 2 hours(1 and a half hours of that I can spend watching tv cause the machine does the shit for me).

Zombies stink and zombies bite, but at least they don’t make shit up. Hmm… sometimes they do dig themselves deeper into holes, though.

“People who take care of their children and their elderly or disabled relatives are lazy and greedy? That doesn’t even make sense, champ.”

You can work your ass off for a couple of years, have a successful career get enough money to hire a nanny to take care of the elderly parents. It is going to take a lot of hard work but you can do it.

It is my belief that anyone can make 100-150 grand a year easy if they work 80-100 hour weeks for 5 years. Which should be more than enough to hire a nanny. I havent been proven wrong yet among my circle of friends or my mentors.

“So, why don’t they? Isn’t it their choice not to? I thought social pressures have no bearing on a person’s decision making processes. Why don’t more men choose to be stay at home dads?”

Didnt you read the rest of my comment? I said most women arent willing to be the breadwinner of the family and society looks down on you. Its like half you guys dont even read what I write.

“Since you’re a Breaking Bad fan, apparently, what are your opinions on the characters of Walter and Skylar?”

No no I hate breaking bad I was just using that as an example. I like house of cards more.

I’m watching the repeat at 11. Every time Negan comes on the screen, I always think that MRAs and alt-righters see him as an ideal leader. Him and Ramsay Bolton.

Have you seen Train to Busan yet? If you haven’t seen it and you like zombie stories, I would definitely recommend it. It’s on Netflix right now. It’s got a lot more substance than zombie shows/movies usually do. It’s also probably misandric because the main character is a neglectful father and it takes a zombie apocalypse for him to start putting his daughter’s needs ahead of his own.

I’m kind of weirded out that there’s Negan lust on Tumblr. The character gives me the heebie jeebies.

Thanks for the movie rec–I see that Train to Busan is only a 99 cent rental on Amazon right now. Last zombie movie I watched was The Girl With All the Gifts, which I liked enough to buy the book.

Trivia: “sticking the landing” is a good way to break your legs. Rolls aren’t just there to look fancy–they keep all the force from hitting your legs like a 12-wheeler.

Too lazy to present his arguments neatly yet still does so, that doesn’t fly when working out math nor does it work if you’re trying to look like the mature adult.

Im not saying just women are lazy, most people are lazy and greedy and stupid. Thats the reason why the middle class is shrinking. IQ levels are the lowest they have been in the last 70 years and consumerism is at an all time high.

“I’m not saying women are lazy, women are also part of the intellectual decay of society.” Mate IQ tests are worthless and unscientific.

Yeah you are right, the relative intelligence is lower. That is the only thing you have been right about. You still havent explaiend to me why women should be earning more if they are working less and spending time raising kids.

Well, Bradley’s convinced me. The hell with taking care of children, the elderly, and the disabled. Let’s just toss them all in a giant pit and throw down food and water bottles every so often. The strong will survive!!

You should have used a quote from francis hes cooler.

@Ooglyboggles.

Cant you read I said “Im not saying just women are lazy”. Did you miss the word “just” in the comment? That means that I believe that most women and most men are lazy(men to a lesser degree)

IQ tests are the best tests we have for measuring intelligence. They have their flaws but there is no real substitute

@Breh

You still havent explaiend to me why women should be earning more if they are working less and spending time raising kids.

Kids are expensive and more income translates to help ease the burden of raising children. Why are you making the argument that women should either neglect their children for cash for neglect cash for their children is the only ultimatum?

Again your statement that IQ is the best objective measure is demonstrably false through scientific studies.

At the very least you know use “a” to address people, that’s progress.

@Lindsay

You know thats not what I meant. You shouldnt expect to get money for free. If you want to raise kids or elderly do it but dont expect people to subsidize you for it. If I get cancer and I lose my job cause I didnt go to work and deliver I wouldnt be angry cause its not my company’s job to give me money for free.

I know in your ideal world people should pay you money for doing good deeds that create very little value to the world.

Let me give you an example. Let us suppose you loaned your friend 50 grand. Would you be okay if he said “Im sorry but I cant repay you cause I spent all my money on raising my child”. That is how the company feels when you dont do work and expect to earn money for free.

Bradley Shore

You did not understand my comment boogles.

I said it was THE ONLY standardized test that can measure intelligence. I know its not a good measure but there is no other alternative.

“Kids are expensive and more income translates to help ease the burden of raising children. Why are you making the argument that women should either neglect their children for cash for neglect cash for their children is the only ultimatum?”

You should have thought of that before raising kids. Dont expect others to subsidize your living. Does that mean people who give birth to 20 kids should earn 5 times the national average? Dont be ridiculous. You earn what you are worth.

If you want to earn more, work more hours. Take care of the child AND work. Its a simple solution. In india the average work week is 6 days of 8 hours. So the average number of hours worked is 50. They also raise children.
