Antifeminism and white supremacy: Joined at the hip for more than a century

Not sure that portraying the woman voter here as a total badass really helped the antifeminist argument, but whatev

Men’s Rights Activists, and anti-feminists generally, are forever warning anyone who will listen that excessive feminism could, any day now, bring about the end of western civilization itself.

This is not a terribly new or original idea. And a post on Nazified pickup artist blog Chateau Heartiste today reminds us just how old and unoriginal this notion is.

The proprietor of that blog, James “Heartiste” Weidmann, brings his readers’ attention to a lengthy quotation from a 1911 book by a fellow named Octavius Beale.

[U]nreasonable demands for exaggerated “rights ” of women will always find a limit in the fact that the majority of men will constantly prefer for wives those who do not claim such rights, but who rather seek their happiness in cultivating and developing their specially feminine virtues and attributes, apart from any aim at equality with men.

Take that, feminist cat ladies with no husbands!

These attributes will also therefore be preferably inherited, whilst the extreme tendencies of the women’s rights movement will usually not come into heredity, but will constantly tend to die out.

Well, he was half right. Feminism did die out, for a time, but then it came back.

Notwithstanding, should woman-rule —contrary to all expectations— become so strong in any single State that it will be able to enforce all its demands, even the most extreme, that result could only be possible where the men are completely degenerated.

Degenerated, huh? Can you see where this is going?

Such a nation would soon be supplanted and dissolved by healthier peoples, who might, perhaps, stand on a lower scale of culture.

I believe he is referring to what the Nazis of today like to call “white genocide.” Back in 1911, Beale called it “Racial Decay” — which was in fact the title of his book.

Amazing how quickly and easily Beale slid from antifeminism to white supremacy. Just as so many antifeminists do today.

Heartiste follows up Beale’s dire, racist warning with a dire, racist warning of his own.

After declaring “equalism” to be “a corruption of civilized man’s soul,” he tries his best to rally the troops in defense of their white “tribe.”

[F]emcuntery will only achieve wrecking power in a nation of degenerated men unable and unwilling to act to preserve their culture and protect their tribe. Women are followers and will follow their nation right into the abyss if it guarantees their social standing among peers; as I’ve been saying, it’ll take shitlord men with big balls to bring their women to heel and their nation back to greatness.

Heartiste, seriously, no one wants to hear about your balls.

“Despite everything, this is your bottom line…and you are a piece of shit. Fuck off, you goddamned misogynistic, lying asshole.

Take your bullshit spiel back to whatever circle-jerk forum you came crawling from.”

How about this peevee, as soon as I see as many female engineers, doctors lawyers and investment bankers as male,, I will admit I am wrong and that men are lazier. There is a reason why women go into easier fields, are not willing to work as hard as men(most women) and why they support the welfare state. Did you know that as soon as a woman gets married on average her net worth goes up 30 percent. Men’s net worth either stays the same or decreases. It must be cause the woman works as hard as the man.

In my engineering class of 23 people, 4 were women. It must be the patriarchy that made them not eligible to be an engineer. Of the top 10 students in my highschool 8 were men 2 were women. It must have been the patriarchy that resulted in those women getting such low grades compared to men.

My project team at work consists of 6 guys and 2 women. The most successful people in my circle of friends are men.

You should read up on a little economic history it might have happened during the great depression but that was not the cause for the great depression so I fail to see your point. At this point I hope youre trolling cause frankly you are starting to sound a little dense.

@B.S.

I assumed that if the worker had displayed incompetence or laziness beforehand, they would have been dismissed before Thing Happened.

Also….you’re kind-of-sort-of denser than a feckin’ black hole, dude.

weirwoodtreehugger: chief manatee

Yes, right wing economic and social policies were absolutely the cause for the depression. Treating workers as commodities was not the whole cause, but it was part of it.

And law and medicine are in fact becoming increasingly common fields for women.

Trying to sell investment bankers as an example of the hardest working people? What a fucking joke. I work adjacent to the financial industry. They take a lot of vacations and half days, long “working” lunches and are out the door as soon as market closes, leaving their largely female administrative staff to do most of the work.

I love how white collar jobs are the only jobs Bedsores thinks are hard work though.

The hardest working people in my company are men. Dont get me wrong women do do their work(Im not going to claim that they are lazy like the managers you talk) but they dont work as much as men.

Also, working more hours is not necessarily the same as being the most productive. I know that. I never said that. I was talking about working smart AND hard. you should watch gary vaynerchuk, he explains it in detail.

I am sure cases like that exist, but they are few and far between. If it was common youd see a lot more companies going down the shitter.

I honestly believe you work that intensely for the entire 8 hours by taking strategic breaks in between, using performance tweaks like pomodoro timers, focusing on most intense tasks during those short bursts and doing busywork the rest of the time? You know checking email and shit. You should seriously consider watching videos on productivity, simpleprogrammer is a great youtube channel for those kind of hacks. It just takes some practice and some discipline but its well worth it.

This is a good video on one of such techniques.

Oh gods. We’ve reached the bad Youtube video portion of the trolling cycle.

What utter bullshit it has nothing to do with social policies. It happend cause of the stock market crash and the greed and shortsightedness of middle class people.

“Its difficult to generalise as it depends on various situations (further explained below), but in Europe expect a minimum of 70 hours per week during slow times and up to 100 hours per week at busy times. Investment bankers usually start quite late (because they finish late), at around 9.30am or even 10am.”

Investment banking is BY FAR the most intense career path. Medicine comes close. My investment banking friend works 80 hour weeks on average and hes been doing it for the last 2 years. Are you sure you dont mean some other branch? Maybe finance?

Yes white collar jobs are more intellectually and physically demanding than labor jobs. Id love to see construction workers work 80 hour weeks.

Why do you think white collar jobs get paid more? Why is the barrier of entry higher for white collar jobs?

“When both paid and unpaid work such as household chores and caring for children are taken into account”

I highly doubt “unpaid work” is going to help the company in any way. I was talking about company related work.

oh my god, white collar jobs are more intellectually and physically demanding than labor jobs! god, this guy is one of the most hilarious trolls.

SAHM are lazy and contribute nothing to society!

People who care for their elderly parents are just too lazy to work hard enough to get rich and hire a caretaker!

Unpaid work doesn’t count as work when talking about who works longer hours because BS says so!

You are my favorite source of unintentional comedy today, sweet summer child.

Youre the first person I know that has implied that digging ditches for a living is harder than performing open heart surgery. There is a first time for everything I guess.

I never said they were lazy, I said they were not as hard working as heart surgeons or ceos. Why do you people always have to go to extremes?

Well atleast youre taking it better than most people will. Good job.

This is my test of how useful some one is for society.

What do you think would happen if all the ditch diggers in the country are removed or exiled to another country.

Compare that to what would happen if every doctor in the country is removed or exiled to another country.

What do you think would affect society more?

You directly said they were lazy. You said everyone is lazy except for people in white collar jobs. These are your direct words. Then you went on to say that even though everyone is lazy except people in white collar jobs, women are as a whole more lazy than men. These are things you have directly stated.

I’m pretty sure that ditch diggers are equally as important to society as doctors. Are… are you seriously trying to claim they’re not? Wow. That’s… do you know what digging ditches is? Do you know that’s how roads get built? It starts with digging a ditch.

Oh really isidore13? You think we cant get machines to dig ditches for us?

I wonder what would happen if all the cancer patients and heart stroke victims dont have their doctors? Can a machine perform open heart surgery?

I know how roads get built. For literally any menial job you can get a robot to do the work. Find me a robot that can perform open heart surgery accurately and youd be a billionaire.

Who gives a shit if roads dont get built. Are you okay with people dying over roads not being built?

“Who gives a shit if roads dont get built. Are you okay with people dying over roads not being built?”

Oh, Bradley, do I spot a false equivalency fallacy? I know how you like it when people point out fallacies.

“Who gives a shit if roads dont get built. Are you okay with people dying over roads not being built?”

You mean the roads the heart surgeon uses to get to work? The roads that are still being built by people and not robots because the robots don’t exist? See if you can follow along. If there’s no roads, no one can get to work! That includes the heart surgeon! See, his skills and intelligence mean nothing if he can’t get to work. Get it?

And if there are no ditch diggers to dig the ditches to build the hospital the surgeon works at, there’s no hospital for the surgeon to work at!

It’s almost like, in a society, we are dependent on the skill and expertise of others even if we don’t want to be.

I see we have gotten to the “you must believe my anecdotal evidence of my experiences, while I completely dismiss yours” portion of the NewOldBradley Show.

Now, normally I believe anything people tell me about themselves on the net, because I meet so many high IQ millionaire doctor lawyer inventors that way, but nah. You’re just a dyed-in-the-wool misogynist whose utter contempt for women drips from every post you make.

You do realize that roads are filled using machines right? Not ditch diggers?

You can use that machine to get to work my dear deluded friend.

You do realize those same workers use that machine right? And that Road Rollers aren’t robots right?

You can use your common sense to get proper conclusions my dear deluded troll.

Dalillama: Irate Social Engineer

“Who gives a shit if roads dont get built. Are you okay with people dying over roads not being built?”

People routinely die of roads not being built, and of roads not being maintained. If roads aren’t built at all, emergency services can’t reach people, nor can medications or other necessities that can’t be made on site. Failure to maintain existing roads increases traffic fatalities, and also impedes emergency services.
