Andrea “JudgyBitch” Hardie, the Canadian Trump superfan and racist crossbow-fetishist, has been flirting with the alt-right for some time now. But she’s apparently still a bit confused about what exactly the alt-right is.
In the midst of an otherwise uninteresting review of Mike Cernovich’s documentary Silenced on her JudgyBitch blog, Hardie confesses:
I’m a little perplexed by the anti-Semitism of much of the alt right.
She’s shocked — shocked! — to find Nazism going on in the Nazi club.
And she’s not quite sure if she herself should tick off the “I hate Jews” box in her metaphoric application to join said Nazi club.
I can’t figure out if this is justified or not. I understand the Jews have been kicked out of virtually every society in which they have ever gained influence, but this is hardly compelling evidence for the global Jewish conspiracy theory that seems to captivate so many.
Hardie — also known by her pen name Janet Bloomfield — seems to have accidentally stumbled on a truth here: The fact that some people hate Jews doesn’t actually prove that they’re evil puppetmasters who run the world. Much as the hate the Klan feels for black people doesn’t actually make black people worth less than them.
But Hardie is apparently still holding out hope that someone will provide her with INCONTROVERTIBLE EVIDENCE that Jews are indeed the monsters of Nazi mythology.
I am admittedly woefully ignorant on this topic. I understand that many powerful Jewish interests back the idea of a global government, which will be entirely impossible as long as European cultures have anything to say about it, but men like [Alan] Dershowitz and [David] Horowitz [both of whom appear in Silenced] appear to be pushing back against the global government with as much energy as the rest of the alt right. So I don’t know what the fuck is going on.
Allow me, Andrea, to hazard a guess at to what’s going on. You really, really want to become one of the cool kids and join the alt right. But that small part of you that is still human recognizes that Jews are also human, and that a life as a literal Nazi, despite all those hilarious Holocaust jokes and Happy Merchant memes, might be beneath even you.
Hope that helps!

If I don’t know much about something, I start by Googling it and go from there. Asking the alt right to educate you on something just seems a bit like trying to heat your house by setting it on fire.
Pretty sure I know what her conclusion is going to be, after she’s finished with her thinky think.
As my Jewish ex-GF and I noted?
If there IS a Jewish worldwide conspiracy my ex-GF sure wasn’t getting any of that swag, she was (and is) barely getting by. She could really use it.
No, of course neither of us believe in a world Jewish conspiracy.
I doubt Hardie has any qualms about dehumanizing anyone. She gleefully does so to women.
There’s just Jewish men who are hard-right and Libertarian-right.
The fact we went from having Bernie Sanders, who could’ve been the first Jewish man to be in the White House, to actually electing Trump – having appealed to antisemitic groups and whose victory was cause for celebration by them – makes me feel quite a bit of dread as a Jewish individual.
It certainly doesn’t help when so many of them use phrases like “cultural marxism”, originally used by the Third Reich, or have a billion variations of the “le happy merchant” meme.
@blahlistic:
I used to have rich friends who actually believed in a Zionist conspiracy. ‘Cause they only knew two Jews (of which I was one) and since one of them was wealthy (which I wasn’t), then obviously they control the media!
Then there was that time someone started saying antisemitic stuff right to me, not even considering I was Jewish. Why? I didn’t “look” Jewish.
@NickNameNick
I do remember hearing about a marked spike in attacks on 3 minority groups in 2016: Jewish people, Muslims, and trans people.
Before I read that I thought anti-semitism was old, that Islamophobia and transphobia was new and happening. :/
Here’s the Coles Notes for my fellow Albertan:
Pros: Comes with a built in group of friends!
Cons: WTF HOW DID YOU EVEN START CONSIDERING THIS, SERIOUSLY
Get hold of yourself, Andrea.
You are perilously close to becoming the same kind of person your Nazi grandfather was.
FTFY
Ouroboros,
No.
@blahlistic:
I’m lucky enough to live in a progressive area where hate crimes usually aren’t a thing (though some people take issue with the Bulgarian population, for some weird reason).
The not-so-funny part? The antisemitism I ran into was in Southern California. People like to think it’s some kind of haven for radical leftists but, once you get outside LA the City and into LA the County – it’s a far different place. From high school until a few years back, I lived in a really conservative religious town that could’ve easily been a number of places in the Midwest or the Bible Belt – it drove me crazy, especially with just how awful the people who lived there were. Constantly self-victimizing while surrounded by like-minded people and demanding respect from people who they constantly mocked, only to start emotionally blackmailing you when they didn’t get their way.
Having so many people trying to convert me to Christianity really made me bitter and made me a hardcore atheist for a while. I minded my own business and didn’t give them shit about their faith or lack of it, yet they constantly did so to me and could never acknowledge the hypocrisy when it was called out…
If Andrea wouldn’t let mere facts get in the way of other forms of racist hatred and bigotry, why would she let them stop her just short of antisemitism? As for the fact that some Jews don’t seem to quite fit the stereotype, she can always use the “I guess there are some good ones that are different” that many racists use so they can have token non-white people in their lives as proof that, in the words of Trump “I am the least racist person you ever saw”.
@Ouroboros – there is no such thing as a subhuman. Just, stop.
@Ouroboros – WTF is wrong with you
So lemme continue as if I knew what I was talking about *eye roll*
@Ouroboros
Have you made a single comment since the election that wasn’t full on, trashfire shittery? I don’t think you have. How’s about you have a seat, multiple fuckin seats at this point, and quit advocating genocide. Why is ‘quit advocating genocide’ even a thing I hafta say to a regular? Get your shit together! ?
Dear David,
I just stumbled upon your blog today. I love your writing. And you’re funny.
This post suddenly reminded me that in childhood I had a fantasy that I was a nice Jewish girl who was part of a big Jewish family!
Thanks again, you rock.
Savor it, y’all…a stopped clock just told time. Well, for two seconds out of a whole 24 hours, anyway.
Ouroboros:
Do not become the thing you despise.
I had to go to through the gas chamber in boot camp. It sucked. It’s like sticking your face in a pool full of jalapeno juice and inhaling it up your nose.
You know what else they teach you in the military? Don’t ever expect someone to do something that you aren’t willing to do yourself.
If there only there was some apropos life lesson to be learned from that..hmm…*ponders*
@Ouroboros13
Ye no, how about we just don’t do that please.
This feels like another compaction cycle where alot of alt right are at a choice whether or not to drop the plausible deniability and become the stormfront.
Ouroboros, not cool. I deleted your comment.
I’m… surprised. People either hate jews for entirely stupid reasons, or they don’t hate jews because they’re aware that the usual reasons are stupid. I’ve never seen anyone indecisive about it before.
I’m going with the theory that she doesn’t really hate jews, and isn’t quite stupid enough to buy into the zionist conspiracy claptrap… but desperately wants to hate them anyway because that’s what the “cool kids” in her political circles are doing these days.
At my house for over the last 25 years we have decorated the house in blue and white lights for Chanukah. Eventually adding a 6ft tall menorah and giant star of david over the garage. But because of the rise of anti-Semitism we have decided to not decorate the outside of the house this year. While I live in a general liberal part of California there have been a few incidents in recent months of hate crimes. I’m also having major abdominal surgery on Dec. 6th so the extra worry and stress just isn’t needed. We’ll still celebrate and decorate the inside. It was a hard choice. Part of me wants to add even more lights just to prove a point but surgery really is enough stress. But please Ms.Judgy keep pondering if I should be hated.
I wonder if her issue here is that she’s spent so much of her life energy demeaning XX bodied humans and placing XY bodied humans on this absurd pedestal. Her misogyny seems more integral to how she views herself and her world than her xenophobia and racial / ethnicity bigotry. The world view of anti Semitism would have her shift how she assigns blame, and have her blame men instead of women.
@Potential Human Bean
She seemed to have no problem blaming black men and Muslim men for all sorts of ridiculousness, though.
