Trump-free Open Thread for Not Talking About Trump

I feel kind of callous asking this here, and it feels awkward adding my hugs to everyone who needs them, since I still semi-lurk. But…

I remember seeing people talking about Pokemon Sun/Moon in other threads here. I immediately averted my eyes (I went in with as little knowledge as I could, and haven’t regretted it), but now that I’m finished with the main part of Pokemon Moon (now starting post-game), I have kind of a not-really spoilery question about something in between the “final” battle and the credits, if someone can answer.

*NOT REALLY SPOILER (BEYOND “YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO CATCH A LEGENDARY YOU’VE KNOWN ABOUT SINCE HOUR ONE”), BUT JUST A WARNING*

Finally had the opportunity to battle and catch Tapu Koko before the credits rolled (OT, but holy crap, dat theme music…)…but I pulled a Game Grumps-style screwup* and knocked it out, instead.

My question, if anyone succeeded on the first try: what does Lillie say if you succeed? All she said in my case was “you beat Tapu Koko, but I don’t think it’s disappointed. Look, it dropped this Tapunium-Z.” I’m incredibly curious, and it’s way too late for me to restart.

* Scenario: you have a legendary Electric monster in unspecified low-yellow health, an entire team of monsters equal or superior in strength (including one that the legendary literally cannot take down), any of whom can finish it in one more hit, no chance of inflicting capture-enhancing status effects (it’s immune to paralysis, and one more Ice Beam will take it out), and only Ultra Balls available. You send out a Vikavolt with Thunderbolt, Bug Buzz, and Acrobatics. Do you…

A) Remember that Electric resists Flying, and that Vikavolt has mediocre Attack, and whittle it down with Acrobatics?

B) Remember that Electric resists itself, while forgetting that Vikavolt has godlike Special Attack, and use Thunderbolt?

C) Forget that you have Timer Balls?

D) Both B and C.
