Matt Forney urges fellow racists to apply for jobs with Trump in order to make leftists sad

Donald Trump’s appointments to his administration so far suggest that he’s building a “team of racists,” as Jonathan Chait of New York magazine has put it. Naturally, Trump’s many fans on the far right are thrilled.

“It’s like Christmas,” Andrew Anglin of neo-Nazi tip sheet The Daily Stormer declared in a post yesterday (archived here) after Trump announced that he was picking voter-suppression fan Jeff Sessions as attorney general and crackpot ex-army man Michael Flynn as national security advisor.

Honestly, I didn’t even expect this to all come together so beautifully. It’s like we’re going to get absolutely everything we wanted. …

Basically, we are looking at a Daily Stormer Dream Team in the Trump administration

Now tryhard white supremacist poop dog Matt Forney is encouraging less-famous terrible people to flood the Trump transition team with job applications in hopes of filling less-prominent slots in the Trump administration with “nationalists” — that is, white supremacists — like him.

In a post today on the execrable Return of Kings (archived here), Forney urged

all ready and able Return Of Kings readers to submit their applications and take up any job offers.

Filling the Trump White House with “committed nationalists” will help to ensure Trump keeps his racist promises, Forney argues. Even better, it will make leftists sad.

By joining the Trump administration, you’ll have a hand in helping trigger the left into conniption fits and spasms of impotence. Nothing horrifies them more than losing access to the levers of power, which they’ve controlled for decades. Watching leftists squirm and cry is one of the biggest fringe benefits of Trump’s victory, and we need to keep the triggering up for years to come.

What an inspiring agenda these “nationalists” have!

Matt Forney taking the world’s saddest selfie. Has he ever taken a picture where he wasn’t clearly miserable? Even the Dogs thing. Aaron Clarey and Davis Aurini were at least trying not to seem bitter about life, the universe, and everything. I mean, jeez…

Also, this plan is obviously doomed to fail. See, the alpha mayunlies are super successful billionaires or summat, so they’re not gonna take a lowly gubmint salary. The MGTOWs don’t actually go anywhere or do anything, so they ain’t really the types you call to action. The neonazis won’t wanna work for Trump’s Jewish family members. Yeah, I don’t see this working out

The possibility only “makes me sad” in the sense that they actually think this is going to work, which I find reflects poorly on the intelligence of at least some of the human race. Which makes me….disappointed.

So is Steve Bannon Trump’s version of Karl Rove, an advisor that will have far more influence over presidential policy than the chief of Staff? I honestly hope not.

@personalpest:
The ‘what would make me sad’ just reminded me of one of the best scenes from Babylon 5:

Vir: What do I want? I want to live just long enough to be able to see your head put up on a spike as a warning to the next ten generations that some promises come with too high a price. I want to be able to stand in the royal gardens, look up into your lifeless eyes, and wave, just like this. … Can you and your associates arrange that for me, Mr. Morden?

Why wouldn’t this work? There will already be at least one white nationalist/anti-semite/racist in the White House and Trumps team has already put out a call for applications to serve in “non-administrative” positions.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if someone like Forney wound up scrubbing toliets in the White House. I have no confidence that the FBI or another agency is going to stand up and say “stop.”

Not after Comey’s shenanigans. Plenty of people were happy to go along with Bush’s crap too.

I remember that scene. I also remember that eventually (SPOILER ALERT!) Morden was killed. And his head was actually put on a pike. And they showed Vir waving at Morden’s head, just as he’d promised he would, preceded by a flashback to the speech. Awesome stuff. I hope our side will be as triumphant someday, albeit without disembodied heads or other violence.

spasms of impotence
“Of course, historically, it seems like what leads to “spasms of impotence” in the left is actually having a Democrat in power. We get complacent, and assume a Jimmy Carter/Al Gore/Barack Obama will do all the heavy lifting, and we won’t have to work as hard.”

Hmm…Black Lives Matter? The fight for the $15 minimum wage? Occupy Wall Street? The fight against Keystone XL? It’s not like there wasn’t any significant activism happening. What’s more, even things like same sex marriage came about because of years of activism. The Obama administration came around when public opinion did.

As for the left being demobilized during the Clinton years, there were plenty of protests then. Remember the WTO protests in Seattle, 1999? Don’t even get me started about the left during the Lyndon Johnson administration. What activism happened during the Carter years, I know less about.

“The left typically stirs out of its cocoon when things like this happen. That’s why some of the best environmental bills came out of the Nixon administration.”

The reason some of the best environmental bills came out of the Nixon Administration is…actually, they didn’t come out of the Nixon Administration. They were passed by veto-proof majorities by a Congress that had Democratic majorities. It is true that the Republican Party wasn’t as universally hostile to major environmental action as now. I guess things like having the Cuyahoga River catch fire helped raised environmental awareness.

So let’s not make these kinds of generalizations, OK? By all means, we need to deal with what we’ve got. We’ve got the most reactionary, authoritarian and bigoted administration in living memory about to take office. The fact that activism may increase as a result isn’t going to be some kind of side benefit of that – it’s going to be an essential response. It’s like saying, “hey, at least being routed by the Germans in France and threatened with invasion brought the British people together in 1940”. Well, of course it did – otherwise they would have been destroyed.

@David

I think they expect Trump to hire them to troll on social media.

That seems like such a silly expectation when Trump is so obviously really confident that his own Tweeter skills are all he needs.

I mean, see @kupo.

Honestly, I didn’t even expect this to all come together so beautifully. It’s like we’re going to get absolutely everything we wanted.

Except women to willingly go to bed with you, and other men to respect you. And decent paying jobs that won’t suck your souls (if you have any left to suck, that is). And a place to live in that doesn’t look like an outhouse from a hundred years ago. And any hobby that doesn’t involve wanking over unrealistic fantasies. But yeah. Live the dream, Andy!

Oh, Matty. You cute widdle overgrown baby, you. Not only do you not understand what triggering actually means (and you sorely overestimate your ability to elicit such responses in anyone), you also have delusions of adequacy. Merely because one right-wing crapagandist from Bitefart got in doesn’t mean you ALL get in. There are only so many jobs to go around, and you just got ripped.

And I can’t wait to see your cry-face when you realize it.

Why is Matt Forney even a notable figure amongst racists in the first place?

He has nothing to offer, he’s not smart, he’s just too eager to be ”offensive”. He’s original nor creative.

He’s hardly a role model in any way. He’s nothing anyone wants to be.

He has the charisma of an empty beer can in the forest.

On the other hand:

He’s pathetic. He seems to have little self-awareness and his disrespect of women is apparently so great that he can’t even remotely pretend to be respectful or polite. (see that pic with Jaye, if I’m not mistaken) (look at his Reservoir Dog- interpretation!!) Said disrespect is not ”cool” or edgy or anything, it just makes him look like a boor.

He’s just dumb.

Just… why?

wasn’t one of Trump’s big plans to have a hiring freeze on government jobs? (I realize that this may have changed since he seems to be walking back all of his campaign promises except for the bigotry and he just realized that he’s not keeping any of Obama’s staff)

So yeah. I’m not gonna hold my breath, what with the catastrophic threeway win, and the known quality of authoritarian mindset allowing “special perks” to people in leadership positions plus the whole goddamn Prosperity Gospel shit. Still. Let’s hope that has some fangs.

@Margot,

Just… why?

A pound of flour, pound of egg, of sugar, raisins, yeast,
a pound of hate for reprobates, a pound more for the feast.
a measurement of racism (how much is up to you),
a pound of pride, a grain of brains,
for leavening and glue.

A roiling boil of sexism, of loathing and of fear,
there place within your pudding-cloth, and keep your ladle near.
You don’t need much to make a feast for fascists, just some rage,
A ball of dough, a pound of hate,
some venom, and a stage.

Friday evening, the Washington Post reported that about 100 foreign diplomats gathered at President-elect Donald Trump’s hotel in Washington, DC to “to sip Trump-branded champagne, dine on sliders and hear a sales pitch about the U.S. president-elect’s newest hotel.” The tour included a look at the hotel’s $20,000 a night “town house” suite. The Post also quoted some of the diplomats saying they intended to stay at the hotel in order to ingratiate themselves to the incoming president.

“Why wouldn’t I stay at his hotel blocks from the White House, so I can tell the new president, ‘I love your new hotel!’” said one diplomat from an Asian nation. “Isn’t it rude to come to his city and say, ‘I am staying at your competitor?’”

The incoming president, in other words, is actively soliciting business from agents of foreign governments. Many of these agents, in turn, said that they will accept the president-elect’s offer to do business because they want to win favor with the new leader of the United States.

it would set a very dangerous precedent if it did.

In a transition that has set a new standard for dangerous precedents?

As for Forneys dream job, while The Cheeto himself is an idiot who couldn’t hit his ass with both hands, his minions like Bannon would look at Forney’s application and say “who’s this fool?”

I don’t doubt Anglin could generate some name recognition but most of the MRA bunch are just cannon fodder, if even that.

Kind of OT, but Trump had another Twitter meltdown:

Men like Mango Mussolini take a polite, concerned comment about legitimate concerns as “harassment” and throw a tantrum and demand a safe space and an apology from those meanie-pants who dared speak out against him, but we feminists, leftists, and other assorted SJWs are the truly “oversensitive” special snowflakes.

Uh huh. Please do tell me, assorted “rightists”, how ALPHA and MAYUNLY that move is. Please do tell me how Turnip is such a BOSS for demanding an apology over Twitter.

Teddy Roosevelt is spinning in his fucking grave right now.

We have no idea how successful Forney’s call to arms among the festering trolls will be.

It is very encouraging, however, to find that the ACLU has 150000 new members on its email list and they’ve taken more than $7 million in donations. On the not-so-encouraging side, they’re going to need it. https://www.aclu.org/blog/speak-freely/aclu-receiving-outpouring-support-heres-what-we-plan-doing-it

Nothing horrifies them more than losing access to the levers of power, which they’ve controlled for decades.

Decades? as in 10s of years?

Is Matt Forney 8 years old or does he just pretend that George W Bush was a democrat so that his personal reality bubble doesn’t pop?

And I see that the Trump Uni lawsuit has been settled for $25 million. That’s one out of the way; or two, if we count the sexual assault case being dropped. Unless I missed some?

And speaking of Bitefart Bannon;

“Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That’s power. It only helps us when they (liberals) get it wrong. When they’re blind to who we are and what we’re doing,” [Bannon] said in an interview published Friday, his first outside of Breitbart since the election.

Well, that ought’a make the xian fundie Trumplings go “mumumumummmmm… not listening…”

and on that note, don’t EVER underestimate what these completely evil men can do, or what the complete IDIOTS who elected them will accept.

@Moocow – No kidding, Forney’s delusional if he thinks Democrats have been in charge for “decades”. Repubs have controlled the House solidly (except for 4 years in the aughts) since the 1994 midterms. In the past 30 years the Presidency and the Senate have each flip-flopped back and forth, about 50-50. As for the Supreme Court, last time there was a liberal majority was the Earl Warren court back in the 1960s.

I guess it’s like that thing where women speak up 30% of the time and are perceived as “dominating” the conversation. Any reminder that other viewpoints exist feels like brutal jackbooted oppression for these poor, delicate flowers.
