A specter is haunting Davis Aurini, the specter of thousands of Americans exercising their First Amendment rights by taking to the streets to protest the incoming Trump administration.
The dandyish Holocaust denier and failed filmmaker reports breathlessly in a post today (archived here) that “violent thugs” allegedly in the employ of “billionaires like George Soros” are planning a big evil riot party during Trump’s inauguration.
A march on Washington! Who would dare plan anything as un-American as that?
A Leftists, that’s who. Let’s let Aurini explain, in this glorious outburst of overwritten but underproofread prose:
The Leftists is a clever animal – it is very socially savvy and manipulative – but it isn’t smart, at least not in the strategic sense. They turned up the heat too high, and Pepe jumped out of the pot.
Not only that, but they TRIED TO TERK OUR GIRMES!
Video games could have been the perfect palliative for the men of this dying civilization, but instead of encouraging a masculine retreat from the world, they tried to take that too, leading to GamerGate, and now – when two-thirds of the country are worried about that brash and brusque Reality-TV star that just got voted in (even many of those who voted for him are worried), they aren’t using soft, concessionary language which could encourage a return to some sort of moderate stance (moderate stances always serve the Left, remember; they’re like the teeth on a ratchet, a temporary holding pattern) – instead they’re doing all they can to prove us right.
That’s all one sentence. Diagram it at your peril!
Aurini elaborates on his theory that protests against The Trump will merely make The Trump stronger.
Rioting over a democratically elected president will … galvanize those who value civilization, and destigmatize those who criticize feminism.
CHECKMATE, FEMINISM!
Now all the questions that the evil feminists don’t want anyone to ask are suddenly “back on the table.”
According to Aurini, these questions include:
- Should a woman be able to murder a baby 8 months after conception?
- Does the “gender pay gap” actually exist?
- Should women be forced to register for the draft?
- Should women have unilateral rights in divorce court?
- Are men and women equal, or are they complimentary?
Yes, that’s right: People will be asking whether or not men and women LIKE TO SAY NICE THINGS ABOUT EACH OTHER.
AND FEMINISM WILL CRUMBLE BECAUSE wait a minute here, what on earth do compliments have to do with feminism?
Ohhhhhhhh, I think the word Mr. Aurini is looking for is “complementary,” with an e, not an i, in the middle there. Complementary, with an e, means “combining in such a way as to enhance or emphasize the qualities of each other.”
Complimentary, the word Aurini used, means “expressing a compliment; praising or approving” or, alternately, “given or supplied free of charge.” As in, “here’s your complimentary grammar lesson for today, Mr. Aurini.”
These Alt-Right philosopher kings don’t really shine as brightly as they think they do, huh?

Ummm… I believe it was Mr. Reagan who wanted to tax my child and spend the money on himself??
One day I’m gonna have to make a video shattering that whole “wage gap myth” line once and for all.
@Laugher at Bigots, if you’re getting a bad class exception there could be a few problems there. If you pulled with maven, don’t – there are some broken dependencies in that. You have to download the newest version of the main package and add the whole thing to your build path. If you did download directly, it sounds like you grabbed the wrong one. Specifically, you need:

if you did that already, paste your stack trace?
Victorious Parasol, that trailer gave me legit goosebumps.
Maginificent.

Such manly masculine manliness
@occasional reader:
I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the concept of gender complementarianism. I’m most familiar with it from certain evangelical Christian circles. At it’s core, complementarianism is repackaged gender roles and patriarchal bullshit. “Men are made to lead and protect. Women are made to nurture and serve.” That sort of thing.
The interesting thing to me is that Aurini seems to be admitting that equality and complementarianism are at odds. Most complementarians will go to great lengths to insist that one can be complementarian and still ascribe to gender equality. Granted, they go to great lengths to twist what gender equality means in order to make that claim.
My fun Twitter exchange with a racist today!
Lindy West tweet: feminists/”SJWs” have been warning & battling, unaided, against this upswell of bigotry & doublespeak & now we’re being blamed 4 its victory
My original reply to her, sarcasm aimed at those doing the blaming: If we didn’t speak out against bigotry, bigots wouldn’t get attention so they’d quit being bigots?
Half a day later, the racist: there are thousands of bigots rioting on the streets of US, all because they didn’t get their own way
Me, because I can’t be arsed with this shit: Awwwwww, look at you being all “I know you are but what am I?!?!” Go and play, the adults are talking. 🙂
Him: What a well thought out response. SJW’s/liberals have been so protected by PC that they are pathetic snowflakes
Me: Oh dear. Another oversensitive white man. I’m sorry that you’re so cucked that you need to be outraged online.
Him: I’m not outraged at all, the SJW’s are outraged.
Me: “I know you are but what am I?!?!” You keep doing that. Do you stamp your feet and hold your breath too?
No further replies yet. I do find it’s much more satisfying to mock them than it is to engage them.
CW: Ablism ahead.
And now “Trump in Finland”, a disabled woman was told “Sut haetaan kävelylle lähiaikoina Trumpin kunniaksi. Olet rasite yhteiskunnalle. Sun kulut, mitä vuodessa laskettiin, on todella paljon veronmaksajille sun kaltaisista.” which, translated, means “You’ll be taken for a walk(* in short notice in honor of Trump. You’re a burden to the society. Your expenses per year have been calculated and it is a lot for taxpayers to pay for your kind.”
(* Treat this as “taken behind the chemical sheds and shot”.
[This is where you put a really long string of Finnish expletives, stringed together so it almost sounds like a song or poem.]
Assholes, the lot of them.
@PreuxFox
Close, but I think their actual belief is that feminists want to specifically send men to war while avoiding it themselves, to keep the male population down and manageable.
And no, they absolutely do not realize that many feminists have been pushing for women to be included in the military all along in the same capacities as men.
They actually have very very very little* education in actual real-life feminism. Their beliefs are mostly cobbled together from the worst of the “Angry Feminist (code: Lesbian)” stereotypes. I mean the very worst.
*non-existent is what I mean
I’d say their education consists of “I read it on the redpill, 4chan,foxnooz, etc., so it must be accurate”
Davis’ prose ALWAYS amuse, and this time is no different. What a delightful giggle I had at:
The “V for Vendetta” reference is appreciated. I watched that again in the wee hours of Wednesday “The Day After”*…
* another flick (1983 made-4-tv anti-nuclear war drama) which might be apropos to prepare for the reign of “High Chancellor Trump”
Oh my god, the Republican oppo research folder against Bernie Sanders was two feet thick and full of things like “supported Noriega and the Sandinistas,” “voted against Amber Alert,” “was on unemployment into his 30s,” and “proposed a bill to ship nuclear waste into Hispanic community for dumping.”
There was no way he could have won the general.
Also, the Busters were talking about working the superdelegates in a way that is superficially similar to all the talk about working the Electoral College. I can just see it now — “Dumbocrats try to subvert the will of the voter if they can’t win fair and square!”
Eugenics lives. In their pathetic little brains.
Men are way too emotional and self protective to be good social members.
They need hunts and quests to get them out from underfoot while the real work gets done.
@Skiriki
Please verify to the non-Finnish speakers here that this is indeed an authentic string of genuine Finnish expletives that has a poetic rhythm 🙂 :
Voi saatana perkele helvetti tuota ja vittu jumalauta! 😐
Seriously, I’m feeling sick to my stomach about this happening in Finland of all places. Fuck this and fuck all these bigots. 🙁 And, full disclosure, I’m handicapped and live on the support of society. I can walk around normally and there’s nothing externally “abnormal” about me, it’s all just matter of neurochemistry, and brain atrophy. However, I somehow feel that those lovely people would want to do something similar to me, too. Or, possibly not considering that I’m a white man in my mid-30s who is currently always wearing combat boots outdoors, due to slippery winter weather… 😉
@Acadia, re: “We didn’t protest when Obama was elected and re-elected.”
That’s a load of horse shit. People were hanging tea bags from this tricorne hats chanting “no taxation without representation!” when Obama was elected.
I was never sure how what they meant…

Harold is pleased with your assessment of his aesthetic quality.
The first image is a quote of Theodore Roosevelt, which I found on tumblr.
The second image is a picture of my pet skull/candy dish Harold. 😀
Harold is a good skull, and will help take back the dignity of all skull-lovers from the grip of fascist assholes like Aurini!
@Victorious Parasol
Thanks for sharing the trailer. I don’t really keep up with the latest releases anymore and I really want to see this one.
But I have to wait until January? 🙁
@Weird (and regrouping quickly) Eddie
Actually older than that, see: Hitler.
@Monzach
Poetic cursing confirmed!
I am not in such luck, though — two of my beloved relatives are visibly disabled, both with Down syndrome and other handicaps. I’m terrified for both of them.
@Victorious Parasol
Thanks for the trailer. The movie looks great. Unfortunately, I live in Alabama, so I’m not certain if we’ll even get it here, but it looks like a wide release so that makes me optimistic. Generally, anything “limited” release can be eliminated from our theater showings unless either a.) it wins an Oscar or b.) is Christian-themed (preferably of the Kirk Cameron variety).
Saw that over on Tumblr. I am not very convinced by it. (I mean, I can easily see Trump developing brownshirts, just not convinced this is real.)
The Lions of Trump first appear in spring this year, and seem to have had a website dedicated to condemning them (by a guy who wrote a book about how Trump and Hitler are real similar) before they actually formed. I get the impression they were more excited than effective at anything.
The account that Oman-Reagan put on Twitter, frankly, I don’t quite buy. A friend of his happened to be in, I guess an Applebees or something, and some guy came up and did discreet Nazi salutes, and asked this total stranger if he was interested in some mysterious brown-shirted social club that’s dedicated to dealing with ‘certain people’ in the media? So this friend gets a surreptitious photograph of the badges, and sends this to his buddy to put on Twitter?
I’m pretty paranoid, and even I am going….ehhh…unless this friend was having breakfast at the diner from West Wing that they raid at the beginning of the episode where they get Zoe back, I dunno as I buy it. Actually, I do know. I don’t buy it.
@dreemr
I see, I think I am beginning to understand. Although it also seems like they can’t make up their minds whether women should be drafted or should be excluded from the army altogether. I suppose they start out with the one opinion and when they realize there are many women voluntarily serving in our armed forces, swap over to the other opinion so they still have something to be angry about.
@PreuxFox
Hell, first misogynists trot out the line about how “man and women are complimentary” as justification for forcing women in role B (which includes staying at home and take care of the kids) while men go into role A (working, getting financial independency).
Then, those same misogynists whine that women get the vast majority of alimony (because those women don’t have financial independency, because they stayed at home and took care of the children) and child custody (because those women were the children’s “primary caregiver”, since they were the ones who stayed at home and spent the most time with said children).
As for the “women should be forced into/out of the army” thing: while many misogynists oscillate between the two, some combining both positions into something even more orrible than the individual parts:
“Women shouldn’t be soldiers because they’re feeeeeeeeeemales, but it’s not fair that only men are drafted and die in front combat, therefore for each men that dies in combat a woman should also die”. Feel free to puke.

@Imaginary Petal
for a group of people who like to call social justice activists over sensitive, people who complain about social justice activists really can’t take a joke.
Shouldn’t Davis Aurini be more concerned about whether Voldemort will have a role in the Trump administration than feminism? With a name like that I’m sure he’s a Death Eater.
