The Leftists is a Clever Animal: An addled Davis Aurini responds to anti-Trump protests

The Leftists defeating itself, apparently
The Leftists defeating itself

A specter is haunting Davis Aurini, the specter of thousands of Americans exercising their First Amendment rights by taking to the streets to protest the incoming Trump administration.

The dandyish Holocaust denier and failed filmmaker reports breathlessly in a post today (archived here) that “violent thugs” allegedly in the employ of “billionaires like George Soros” are planning a big evil riot party during Trump’s inauguration.

A march on Washington! Who would dare plan anything as un-American as that?

A Leftists, that’s who. Let’s let Aurini explain, in this glorious outburst of overwritten but underproofread prose:

The Leftists is a clever animal – it is very socially savvy and manipulative – but it isn’t smart, at least not in the strategic sense. They turned up the heat too high, and Pepe jumped out of the pot.

Not only that, but they TRIED TO TERK OUR GIRMES!

Video games could have been the perfect palliative for the men of this dying civilization, but instead of encouraging a masculine retreat from the world, they tried to take that too, leading to GamerGate, and now – when two-thirds of the country are worried about that brash and brusque Reality-TV star that just got voted in (even many of those who voted for him are worried), they aren’t using soft, concessionary language which could encourage a return to some sort of moderate stance (moderate stances always serve the Left, remember; they’re like the teeth on a ratchet, a temporary holding pattern) – instead they’re doing all they can to prove us right.

That’s all one sentence. Diagram it at your peril!

Aurini elaborates on his theory that protests against The Trump will merely make The Trump stronger.

Rioting over a democratically elected president will … galvanize those who value civilization, and destigmatize those who criticize feminism.

CHECKMATE, FEMINISM!

Now all the questions that the evil feminists don’t want anyone to ask are suddenly “back on the table.”

According to Aurini, these questions include:

  1. Should a woman be able to murder a baby 8 months after conception?
  2. Does the “gender pay gap” actually exist?
  3. Should women be forced to register for the draft?
  4. Should women have unilateral rights in divorce court?
  5. Are men and women equal, or are they complimentary?

Yes, that’s right: People will be asking whether or not men and women LIKE TO SAY NICE THINGS ABOUT EACH OTHER.

AND FEMINISM WILL CRUMBLE BECAUSE wait a minute here, what on earth do compliments have to do with feminism?

Ohhhhhhhh, I think the word Mr. Aurini is looking for is “complementary,” with an e, not an i, in the middle there. Complementary, with an e, means “combining in such a way as to enhance or emphasize the qualities of each other.”

Complimentary, the word Aurini used, means “expressing a compliment; praising or approving” or, alternately, “given or supplied free of charge.” As in, “here’s your complimentary grammar lesson for today, Mr. Aurini.”

These Alt-Right philosopher kings don’t really shine as brightly as they think they do, huh?

@Laugher at Bigots,

It’s Stanford’s Java NLP library:

http://stanfordnlp.github.io/CoreNLP/download.html

What you’re lookin at there is a parsed sentence. Here’s another one, with a simpler sentence:

[main] INFO edu.stanford.nlp.parser.common.ParserGrammar – Loading parser from serialized file edu/stanford/nlp/models/lexparser/englishPCFG.ser.gz … done [1.4 sec].

The parse of the sentence ‘I must know how to process this!’

is

(ROOT (S (NP (PRP I)) (VP (MD must) (VP (VB know) (SBAR (WHADVP (WRB how)) (S (VP (TO to) (VP (VB process) (NP (DT this)))))))) (. !)))

S = Sentence
NP = Noun Phrase
VP = Verb Phrase

etc, etc. Very handy library if you do text parsing, you can do all sorts of magic with it!

Once again, Theodore Roosevelt proves to be my favorite president:

And the end of that quote because it is also relevant:

Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else.

Also, my pet skull Harold highly disapproves of Aurini and his shenanigans. He gives skull-lovers a bad name.

Aurini should learn to be more like Harold. Harold is full of sweets.

Should a woman be able to murder a baby 8 months after conception?

First of all Aurini, like many of your contemporaries (like your idol Trump), you fucking fail basic biology and research. Good for you for failing Google 101.

Or, you know, failing to have a conversation with someone who actually knows what the fuck they’re talking about, instead of just assuming you’re an authority because you think so.

Abortions that take place in the third trimester are to take out a fetus that is dying (and won’t survive being born, or will survive for only a few minutes), or is already dead.

In other words, you can’t “murder” what is already dead, you fucking dolt. Fetuses are not zombies.

And in these instances, the fetus is decaying and/or dying, which could also kill the person carrying it.

So, once again, the right proves that a dead or dying clump of cells that cannot be viable outside of the womb as an actual fucking baby is more important to them than the life of an already born woman.

And they say they’re not fucking misogynists.

Does the “gender pay gap” actually exist?

Yes.

There’s also a pay gap when it comes to race.

Science, numbnuts.

Should women be forced to register for the draft?

I think that if we MUST have a draft, then yes, it should be gender-neutral, and people of all genders should be allowed to register for it.

(We can skip the part about how men made the draft “men only” and how men said that women weren’t good enough to be in the military and were too “delicate” to fight or would “distract the troops” flew right over his widdle bald head.)

However, I also think the draft is a stupid idea in the first place and we shouldn’t have one. But I suppose that makes me a hippy or some shit.

Should women have unilateral rights in divorce court?

Hold up.

Unilateral means “only affecting one person”, so what the fuck does this even mean? What kind of rights does Aurini think women have in court?

(I mean, we know he follows basic Manosphere dogma, so it’s most likely something something child custody something something alimony.)

Are men and women equal, or are they complimentary?

No, and no.

Also, words mean things.

Regarding number 3 on that list isn’t the feminist-party line that war is undesirable (and a draft more so) but it would be wrong and sexist to have different rules for different genders in the armed forces?

I mean I feel like the 588th Night Witches should be considered feminist icons for volunteering to fight the Nazis with crop dusters while battling systemic sexism and sabotage from there own side.

P.S. These people are never going to leave poor Pepe alone are they? #FreeTheFrog!

That’s the stance I’ve seen (and I personally take) pretty much in every feminist space I can think of, yeah.

I mean I feel like the 588th Night Witches should be considered feminist icons for volunteering to fight the Nazis with crop dusters while battling systemic sexism and sabotage from there own side.

I’ve seen a lot of feminists consider them feminist icons, yeah.

Rosie the riveter is the most famous WW2 feminist icon in the US but the Reds had some really bad ass all female units taking the fight to the Nazis.

Shorter Aurini:

“Now that Trump is elected I can finally put together my master plan of… doing exactly what I’ve been doing all along”

It’s like Simpsons episode where Homer who thinks he’s going to die, discovers he’s actually going to live and vows to change his habits and finally start living life to the fullest

Cut to scene of him on the couch eating popcorn and watching TV.

(my apologies to Homer Simpson, you are a far more intelligent and far more honest than Davis Aurini)

So someone threw a tiff that Trump didn’t have his own cadre of brownshirts in order to tick Eco’s checklist?

NOT TO WORRY! https://twitter.com/OmanReagan/status/797314498243633153

Check. While it is not him organizing it, some people are hearing his call quite clearly.

And now the assholes are using internment of Japanese-Americas as a justification for doing the same and registering Muslims. https://twitter.com/bad_takes/status/799079032499343360

Entirely beside the point, but:

they aren’t using soft, concessionary language which could encourage a return to some sort of moderate stance

1)Plenty of ‘the left’ is being conciliatory, and it drives me up the fuckin wall. Ya got Democrats saying they lost. No. You. Didn’t! Quit saying you did, and quit acting like losers
2)They have no intent to be ‘moderate’ (whatever that means). They never have. Preaching to the choir here, but he just wants us to be passive and silent. Fuck that noise!

The George Soros conspiracy nonsense runs very, very deep. Have a look at the #PurpleRevolution tag on twitter – it starts with the democrats wearing purple after the election (to focus on unity) and rides the crazy train through Soros’ funding of protests to plots to stage a coup the moment Trump takes office.

If only it were true; I could get paid to party in the streets and wouldn’t have the orange creeper for president…

@Paradoxical Intention: That picture is a pretty good representation of how I was feeling most of the time last week. This week… I’m over it. Mostly. At this point I’m just gonna wait and see what stupidly evil things they actually end up doing, rather than just talk about doing, before I get too worked up about it.

@Paradoxical: Harold is cute.

Our skull has no name– frankly, we don’t even know if they are male or female, and it seems a bit disrespectful to give an actual human skull (medical specimen) a goofy name. We don’t even know their ethnicity, though I suspect either an indigenous South American or sub-continental Indian.

Can’t embed the image (this site and Facebook’s image links don’t play nice), so here’s a link.

How do people even get hold of all this Soros money that’s sloshing around? It seems unfair that it isn’t more easily available. If it were easier to train as a professional protestor, then I guess you could just send him your resume but I don’t even know how to get on to one of those courses.

If you like the mystery, please ignore this. If you’re dying of curiosity (hahah! Pun intended!), call your nearest reputable university and ask for an anatomist or a forensic anthropologist. They may even be able to tell you from photographs the sex and (likely) ethnicity of your skull.

PS I think it’s a male skull, ethnicity I can’t tell.
