I was afraid of Trump becoming a Republican candidate. Everyone else was laughing, but I was afraid. I was alarmed. I knew it would not go down well.
I’m sure others were, too, but too many people were laughing when they should have been proactive.
And, once more, I was afraid of Trump becoming the Republican candidate. And he became the Republican candidate. And now, on this day, the 8th of November 2016, as of 2136 or 9:36pm, Trump has 244 votes compared to Clinton’s 215.
No one is laughing now and I am no longer afraid. I am terrified. I am numb. I hope whatever happens in the future isn’t what I think will happen, I hope whatever Trump and Pence want will not come to fruition.
I hope, and I wait for a brighter tomorrow, which will not come soon, but will come, eventually.
