No lie–as someone with a lot to lose here (queer trans guy, godless heathen, and working-class loser to boot), I’m really biting my nails. Emigration’s not a feasible option for me unless some country relaxes its policy w/r/t refugees. (I also don’t have a passport or anything like travel funds.) I might live in a “blue” state and have a pro-diversity employer…but for how long, if Trump wins this thing?

I have also heard fresh parsley, Queen Anne’s lace seeds (PLEASE learn to distinguish these from hemlock first!), and the fleshy insides of apricot pits (not too many, as, you know, cyanide and death. I’ve heard 15 at a go and no more, but I really, really don’t know. I know my grandparents used to use them in candy, but who knows? They might have bred somehow to greater concentration. Best to ask your doctor.)
You should always check with a medical provider afterwards to make absolutely certain you are not pregnant. Many of these methods will, if they fail, make a pregnancy non-viable anyway: pennyroyal, for instance, will cause a placenta so small as to be incapable of sustaining a fetus. Few of them will work on an ectopic pregnancy. I don’t believe any of them will work beyond the first couple of months.
I would, if I were in a position to be worried about pregnancy and the unthinkable happened and DT won, give serious thought to getting an IUD between now and January.
