As election day draws nearer, the Trump memes get darker

One of the few presentable memes on the Donald Trump Pepe blog
One of the more presentable memes on the Donald Trump Pepe blog

So I took a look at the Donald Trump Pepe blog today, for the first time in a long time, and the memes on display there seem to be getting darker and cruder and more violent as election day draws closer.

It’s not as if the blog — a storehouse of sorts for, well, Donald Trump Pepe memes — had been lacking in crudeness before. Donald Trump meme-makers, after all, are the sort of people who think that it’s just plain hilarious to joke about throwing enemies out of helicopters and gassing  the 7-year-old daughter of a writer they don’t like in a Nazi death camp.

But the newest memes are, if anything, worse — more graphic, more personal, more threatening than even the Holocaust memes that have been a staple of Trump’s volunteer mememakers for the last year. The newer memes, which seem more openly sadistic than those from months past, show Hillary being raped, being led to the guillotine, killing herself with a gunshot to the head.

There’s blood. And diarrhea. Lots of diarrhea.

Here’s a sampling from the memes posted recently on the Pepe Trump blog; I’ve censored the most graphic parts, but, seriously, if your day is going well and you want to keep it that way, you may want to stop reading here.

If not, let’s start with the murder-themed memes.

While their fellow Trump fans chant “lock her up” at Trump’s rallies, the mememakers fantasize about Hillary’s execution at the hands of a triumphant Trump.

trpepeguil

trpepg2

Others fantasize about alternate ways she could be killed.

trpepmur

There are memes in which Pepe goads Hillary into killing herself.

trpepsuicidecens

And others (too violent to post here) imagining the same fate for Hillary’s “shills.”

There are numerous animated gifs depicting The Donald violently raping Hillary. Here’s a censored, non-animated version of one of them.

trumprapememcen

And then there are the scatological memes. This is the most presentable one of the bunch.

racism

I guess the, er, joke here is that evil SJW Hillary fans are always complaining about racism. How a frog pooping on a poster for Hillary is supposed to relate to this I have no idea.

Another even more crudely scatological meme depicts a nude Hillary lying on the floor shitting herself while watching Trump’s victory on TV. I’m not going to post that one here, but if you have the stomach for it, take a look at it on the Trump Pepe blog.

And there’s a weirdly elaborate meme depicting Clinton diving into a big pit of money a la Scrooge McDuck, only to find that most of the money has been replaced with shit by a sneaky Trump fan.

After all these, it’s almost a relief to find a meme featuring a Pepe who’s merely peeing.

pepepeeI mean, sure, “globalism” is a dogwhistle for “the Jews,” but at least there’s no blood or poo.

So the shitlords think that rape is bad only when Mexicans and other brown people are accused of it. When they (or someone they like, such as Trump or Roosh) do it or fantasize about it, it’s okay. Good to know!

They think that brown men having sex with white women (or as they call us, “women,” since they forget that word also includes WOC) is bad, consensual or otherwise, because it represents the theft of women that rightly belong to them. In their minds, it subverts both their dominance over women and their dominance over men of colour. In contrast, putting women in their place with rape or the threat of rape bolsters that dominance. So s’all good.

I have edited this because my original phrasing looked like I was saying that sexual violence isn’t used as a tool against women of colour, which is obviously incorrect.

Meanwhile, we’re all expected to empathize with Trump voters, the ‘white working class’. Understand them and find common ground. They’re just like us, something something ‘economic anxiety’, yadda yadda ‘feeling ignored’, and copious amounts of similar, ascended bullshit. When they stop voting to hurt me and mine, I’ll maybe not deplore them. Simple as that

Yeah, they’ve got economic anxiety, I’ve got economic anxiety, we’ve all got economic anxiety. And y’know why? It’s because of these fuckers whose anxiety we’re now supposed to ’empathize’ with. It’s because they routinely vote for people who, in addition to being open and unrepentant bigots, actively brag about how bad they want to screw the working class. They go on camera and say this, they write editorials that say this, The post rambling semicoherent twitter screeds about this. They do not hide this. And these assholes still vote for them, because their bigotry is more important to them than their economic well-being, so you’ll excuse me if I don’t give a flaming fuck if they wind up turfed out of their homes and scrabbling for a chance and insufficient wages just like the rest of us.

And as for feeling fucking ignored? This, right here, is the epitome of white male privilege, in politics the same as in media: When the focus isn’t absolutely 100% on them every second, they throw a fucking tantrum, and when they do it with their votes, they get to break the whole fucking country because they didn’t get their way.

Poor sad Trump voters. “I may have been trapped in poverty, but at least I could feel that I had more opportunities than black people and immigrants! Now, I’m trapped in poverty, and I’m worried that I can’t even leverage my race to get ahead of other people.” Boo hoo.

Y’all, what are you talking about here? White pain is the realest pain! It’s right up there with man pain! White man pain is the realest of real pain, no other pain or substantive disadvantage even comes close to comparing to it. The emotions of white men are the highest priority problem to ever exist.

Coincidentally, my father died 25 years ago today.

Alt-right? He died too soon for that.

He was a member of the old-right, with a fear and loathing of anyone that wasn’t himself + himself too.

Throughout their marriage my mother presented a long-running (50 years!), unscripted piece of high-concept performance art titled “Of Course I Can Endure My Husband.” Themes explored included For better or worse, Children don’t get a say, Who could have predicted that?, and Children need their father.

The alt-right wants all this back.

Nope.

Poor sad Trump voters. “I may have been trapped in poverty, but at least I could feel that I had more opportunities than black people and immigrants

And the reason poverty is such a fucking trap is because of their ongoing efforts to make sure PoCs stayed there. That’s why there’s virtually no spending on social programs (“Welfare Queens” anyone?), why they can’t save on gas money (and even car payments) by catching a train (surface, elevated and/or subterranean) to work, or potential work (That’s why there’s no light rail from here to Vancouver (Washington, not BC); the city council didn’t say it in so many words, but the letters to the editor sure did). And since that pesky civil rights act got signed, bills to fuck over the poor have to claim that they’re fucking over all the poor people at once. Sorry ’bout it, poor whites. It’s not like the assholes whose boots you lick actually gave a damn about you in the first place, but now you can see it. And then keep doing the same damn thing all over again. It makes me think of this tweet, which IIRC was coined after Brexit, but it’s widely applicable:

‘I never thought leopards would eat MY face,’ sobs woman who voted for the Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party.

I’ve seen it opined that, from an economic point of view, the poor supporting Trump makes sense – along the lines of “when you’re at the bottom of the pile, creating disruption and chaos can only make things better.” I’m not convinced, for two reasons. One, Trump’s supporters clearly aren’t at the bottom of the pile – they have all the advantages of race and gender, and their support of Trump is motivated by their desire to protect those advantages.

Two, actually improving the lot of the disadvantaged doesn’t happen through chaos – it happens through a lot of patience, hard work and determination, implementing reforms and building up infrastructure. That’s something that managerial “Establishment” politicians might or might not do, but it’s something that Trump would never be capable of, even if he had the inclination.

“A rising tide lifts all boats!” “But… I don’t want to lift all boats. How can I feel good about my boat being high if I can’t compare it to other, lower boats?” “So… you would prefer…” “To stay right here on the ocean floor, yeah.”

And unfortunately, the way these assholes play the game, the sums are actually negative. They’re not just wrong and malevolent, they’re also very bad at maths.

That only works when the disruption and chaos are bad enough that mobs loot the palaces of the mighty; then a few of them get hold of enough to become the new oppressors and everything goes back how it was, only now the infrastructure’s broken and everyone’s lives are worse.

Weird Eddie,
I’m not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but my wife is an herbalist, she would recommend Tulsi (Holy Basil), Skullcap, and Lemonbalm.
All are herbs anyone can grow in a flowerpot if you don’t want to buy them.
I know medical advice from strangers is pretty dodgy but there’s lots of info on the web about them – they fit in the category of nervines. All 3 are completely non toxic, gentle, and don’t interact badly with other drugs/herbs. Tulsi and Lemonbalm leaves can make you feel better just by smelling them.
