So it’s ten days until the election now, and I cannot wait until this nightmare is over. Talk about it, or whatever else you want to talk about. No trolls, MRAs, Trumpkins, etc.

@Paradoxy
Wow that is unreal. In Canada, I cannot remember a single instance of people protesting — I mean real protest, not this Trumpian voter intimidation shit — at voting locations.
Unfortunately, aid in an active conflict zone is … complicated. It’s not as easy as just airdropping supplies and being secure in the knowledge that only the civilians who need the supplies will get them. Usually aid in a conflict zone is seized by the warring armies unless it is actively protected, and active protection means being prepared to get involved in the conflict to at least some degree.
Even something as seemingly simple as just helping refugees get out of the conflict zone is really not. How do you do that, without being prepared to return fire?
It’s way better to funnel aid through an organization like the Red Cross or the Red Crescent, which are better prepared to navigate those complications without getting into a military confrontation. Direct American aid is very hairy, and there are major political consequences to offering assistance even if military confrontations can be avoided. It’s just all-around better for the US to not go there, and to instead support other organizations. We’re not the best at everything, no matter how much some Americans think otherwise.
@Scildfreja Unnýðnes:
Yeah, I wonder why they do that (‘scratches head for 1 minute’)?
You really don’t understand geopolitics very well, do you?
You’ve got that backwards, sweetie. You were only ever treated as a troll and called a troll because you act one. Now you’re threatening to throw a tantrum? That really doesn’t help fix the negative impression you’ve made and it entirely confirms that you were never here in good faith.
Fuck off and go to Reddit. Douchebags usually fit in way better there.
@weirdfucker:
Listen “sweetie” (you condescending twat), go complain to David and do your worst.
Meanwhile I’ll continue to prick the illusory balloons of a few here, re. your wretched election and Murrica’s place in the world.
@Gert
A significant chunk (majority?) of the commentariat supported Bernie Sanders in the primaries, so you can fuck off with this “deviating from the Clinton orthodoxy” bullshit. You’re being called out because you’re presenting a false equivalency and adding nothing but simplistic, clueless, and needlessly sarcastic one-liners which only serve to make yourself feel superior to those stoopid American voters.
And you’ve been a troll since your very first post here. You started off by trolling two or three different threads, and since then you’ve contributed nothing but a bland comment here and there.
Now Gert is challenging the wisdom of Scildfreja?
Interesting move. This should be good.

Why do you want to be banned so badly? Nobody is forcing you to stay here.
Yeah, misogynist slurs are totally gonna help your case. No troll would use misogynist slurs! -_-
It really brings out the misogynist rage out in a certain kind of man when you condescendingly address him with pet names usually given to women. It’s a great stick to poke trolls with and it really exposes Gert as a phony progressive who is only okay with progressive (well, brogressive) spaces where everything is centered around the white man and deferential to his authority.
@Gert: Pro tip-you’re not going to get very far throwing around words like ‘twat’ on a feminist blog dedicated to mocking misogyny.
Also, I’ve never really understood all the hatred directed at Hillary. My father has a theory: that the right has never forgiven her for not dumping Bill after the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Makes as much sense as anything I can come up with.
@Policy of Madness
I yield to your level-headedness and sound argument. Nothing is ever as straightforward as it seems, I don’t know why I would think this was an exception.
Oh, and Gert? Don’t mock Schildfreja. Ever.
@joekster:
Disagreement is mockery now?
Take this little bit of ‘wisdom’, e.g.:
Maybe this is what Her Highness is referring too?
“Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $124.3 billion”
https://fas.org/sgp/crs/mideast/RL33222.pdf
I’m really excited to see a female president, and an extremely qualified one at that. Let’s not only focus on the threat that trump faces, but the positive possibilities with 8 years of Clinton.
Maybe I’m just paranoid since we had our recent MRAL return and am seeing him everywhere but calling commenters “Highness” was one of his tells.
@Gert:
You said,
‘Yeah, I wonder why they do that (‘scratches head for 1 minute’)?
You really don’t understand geopolitics very well, do you?’
That’s not disagreement. That’s mockery. And quite rude.
There are plenty of people who post here who probably merit mockery. You are one. I’m another. Schildfreja is one of the ones who does not.
There are some things you don’t do if you are a good person. You don’t kick puppies, you don’t skin cats, and you don’t make fun of one of the people on this site who makes an honest effort to meet everyone half-way and find common ground. Not if you want to be regarded as a halfway decent human being.
@weirdfucker:
Paranoia is your middle name.
Your tells are useless, try actual EVIDENCE instead. I HAVE NEVER USED SOCKPUPPETS, NOT HERE AND NOT ANYWHERE.
Your own behavious is trollish. Consider yourself ignored unless you actually have something to say.
@Dreadnought
This is the U.S., mate. We don’t do foreign aid that doesn’t involve bombing somebody, and the last thing the Middle East needs right now is more U.S. airstrikes.
@Bearded Zero:
Funny how you haven’t got a thing to say about any rudeness that comes my way. Hive mentality, anyone?
Get lost, Joeky.
@weird One:
HAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHHA AHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHHHHAAHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHHHAHAHHAH HAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHHAH
Stop making me piss myself with laughter, it hurts too much! 🙂
Yep, he dun goofed. I think this is 7 times so far with Hairt. Drop the hammer, he’s literally asking for it. Oh, and he’s not being antisemitic with his Israel bashing. Not at all. Remember, dogwhistles don’t exist
While we’re on the subject, and I’m not attacking anyone here, I really dislike the ‘Bernie will keep her honest’ thing. There’s an implication there that 1)she’s inherently dishonest in her words and deeds, and 2)she needs a man to control her. And no, replacing Sanders with Warren doesn’t help, mostly cos it’s obviously a replacement. Besides that, it figures into this hero worship of Sanders that makes no sense. He hasn’t done a damn thing in his decades in Congress, he ain’t gonna become Shadow President now. And lastly, Hillary Clinton was the 1st person in 30 years to really push for healthcare reform. She has the progressive credentials. When and if she fails to live up, I hope Congress and all of you will hold her feet to the fire. She isn’t even elected yet…
I’m going to need some evidence of this. I’m guessing you make this claim because you’re using Tor and confident David can’t get at your IP.
