I’m not seriously worried at all. I don’t know if I’m just in denial, or if I really do believe that a lot of the violent rhetoric and passionate emotions going on right now are the logical reactions to 25+ years of growing pains for a privileged group (whites, in the main) slowly “losing” power over time (in reality seeing power balance over time).
Not that I believe it is going to be a smooth transition or that the belligerents will just roll over and accept the future, because I don’t. But I do truly believe that most of them are not only cowards but also wouldn’t even know how to react if all their feverish racist and sexist dreams DID come true, and they woke up tomorrow with their every desire granted. They would just move on to being aggrieved by something else. These are people who do not truly experience the world unless they are presenting themselves as beleagured victims, and if you take one scapegoat away, they will just find another.

@Troubelle, @Dreemr, i dunno about that really. The violence is getting more and more common, and Trump is sort of giving permission to that. It’s scary. I don’t think there’s going to be wide-scale violence, but I do think that there will be an uptick after the election.

To be honest, I’ve never actually played Bloodborne, but I understand what you’re getting at.
I draw more inspiration from the aspect of survival in a strange and unforgiving world in Don’t Starve, Together or not. Also drawn from the legendary dapperness of the antagonist, Maxwell.
The only problem will be finding a good and affordable sword-cane. Or I could just use my own normal cane as a blunt weapon if need be.
