So our old friend Roosh V, the rapey pickup guru and philosopher of “neomasculinity,” has some … interesting thoughts on the election. Here are some recent highlights from his Twitter feed.

It’s quite a conspiracy he’s alleging here. Apparently the (((Jews))) forced Roosh to write all those “field reports” in his Bang books that sounded an awful lot like confessions of rape, then they went back in time and forced Trump to brag about sexually assaulting women. And then the (((conspiracy))) conjured up all those women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexual assault (and in one case, to accuse Roosh of rape).
Roosh has many other interesting insights on politics, and (((Jews))).

Er, Donald Trump is also a senior citizen, and the alleged groping took place more than 30 years ago.

Yeah, I don’t think that’s quite it.
Roosh also has thoughts on homosexuality.

That would explain a lot, actually.
The look on his face just before celebrating Trumpkins start a boot party on it (for “lookin furrin”, naturally) would be a glimmer of joyous schadenfreude in the unending darkness of that unfortunate electoral result.
When Trump tried to bring up the sexual assault accusations against Bill, the floodgates finally opened on the sexual assault accusations against him.
If Trump tries to bring up the murder
accusationslong-debunked spacetime-rending conspiracy theories against Hillary… Well… (TW: With Trump, it’s always projection.)As a straight dude, if this is what we have to give up to keep Trump from office, I am FINE WITH THIS.
(Bonus: Picture Ted Cruz having to endorse a gay Republican candidate for President in 2020. You’re welcome.)
Trump is ‘non-establishment’? Huh?
Hey, how do you add pictures to one’s post? I have a relevant digital piece/shameless plug for my art. Or I can post it when there is an open thread.
I literally just finished this, might tweak it later actually.

I’m just going to link to my deviantArt. Hey David, if you ever want to use this illustration, I’ll be happy to let you if you pay me. :U Say, 25 dollars for a high-res .png file? And hell, I would do more stuff like this for your blog when I’m done with college if given the opportunity. I don’t have the time to do it now. If anything big goes down and you write an important article, you could use an illustrator.
You need to use a link which ends in a common image file extension. like .jpg or whatever. You might be able to do something like right clicking on the image and selecing ‘copy image location’ and dropping that URL in, like this:

@Matt: Its late to be saying this now, but can I direct your attention to this bit of the comments policy:
I’m not sure that what you said is an unequivocal breach of policy, but in my interpretation it goes against the spirit of it.
I see similar comments posted in other places when someone is convicted of a sex crime against a child, and people dwell lovingly on the violence that their fellow inmates will inflict on them because “even other crims hate perverts”.
It is at its worst when the convicted person is also young and/or conventionally good looking, because then there are drooling speculations that that person will be prison-raped, and an attitude that this is a good thing.
Do I have to tell you that this is rape culture in action? Do I have to explain why it is deplorable?
A few reasons to start with:
1)Nobody ever deserves to be raped. Whoever they have had sex with in the past, however they were dressed, however drunk they were, however their behaviour put them in the path of their attacker, or impeded their ability to defend themselves.
Similarly, in the case of your statement about Roosh, his previous or current behaviour would not cause or excuse any racist attack on him by racists. So,
2) by suggesting that its OK by you for some people to be subject to racist violence because they are bad people, you are victim blaming and giving permission to racists to attack some members of the ethnicity they dislike. You are providing them with a reassurance that if they choose their victim carefully, they can do their hateful thing and get away with it. Racists, like rapists, often listen to what people say, in order to learn what they can get away with. Leading me to,
3) Nobody ever deserves to be a rapist, or to be a racist thug. I mean that nobody is ever entitled to disregard another person’s humanity that way. I also mean that wishing for that activity by them in order to fulfil your own revenge fantasy about somebody else is also using them as a tool in a very dehumanising way.
You might think it would be poetic justice, but I don’t think it even qualifies as doggerel.
Since he lives at home with his mother, I always wonder if his mom knows that her son hates her because she’s a woman.
@Alan
One can only hope. Trump probably thinks he doesn’t need a biscuit to launch missiles – he’s such a star he can just reach out and grab them by the silos. If Hillary wins, I hope they’ve instructed the nuclear technicians not to answer any calls from a “John Barron” with a Queens acccent.
Speaking of grabbing, one of the valuable side effects of all the women coming forward this week is that Trump has to hear over and over again how repellant he is and how unwanted his contact was. I know the main thrill for him is lack of consent, but a secondary thrill is his belief that these women, like all women, secretly enjoyed being targeted and dominated by an alpha. For someone who constantly brags about his superiority and sexual prowess and good genes (and how he only bestows his groping “magnanimity” on 10s) it has to sting a little bit, hearing all these former models and pageant contestants talk about how vile and off-putting his advances were. One Norwegian model described him as “the most vulgar man I ever met” – and that’s saying something, considering that the modeling industry tends to attract creeps, charlatans, and other lowlifes.
It’s obvious that the reason Trump bought the Miss USA pageant and started up Trump Modeling Agency was so that he could have unfettered access to victims while in a position of power, in much the same way that pedophiles might be attracted to the priesthood or coaching. It certainly doesn’t make much sense from a business perspective to branch out from real estate into what amounts to human trafficking. (I’ve been reading up on Trump’s “modeling agency”, and it’s horrifying. I wish the mainstream media would pick up on it, but it’s so hard for any one story to gain traction amid the torrential fire hydrant of awful that is Trump.)
I love how indignant he is that the press is combing through his sordid past and finding fresh outrages approximately every 45 minutes. What did he expect? If you’re a heinous human tire fire with a closet stuffed with skeletons, 273 indictments and counting, and a long history of abusing, exploitng, and swindling people, maybe don’t run for president? Scrutiny comes with the territory, but Trump seems to think he alone should be exempt from the standard background check. If this were any other job, he wouldn’t even get past the first phone screen.
Wynne is lesbian? I never knew that. I wonder if that had anything to do with the improved sex ed. curriculum (which in my opinion really should be rolled out nationally).
I wouldn’t be surprised if Caitlyn Jenner (who is a conservative Republican) runs in 2020 and possibly wins the nomination.
@Podkayne
Abe too, or so the speculation is. I just don’t like speculating is all. It’s like outing corpses *shudders*
Oh dear where to begin
you they are your point?
,
Most of the people first caught and spread aids were strait .Indeed it devastated the gay community. But only because sex was culturally freer for ALL GROUPS and for decades ALL GROUPS had been indulging a communal drug culture.And i’m sorry is roosh going on about sexual promiscuity my irony meter just blow .And men get aids at higher rate then woman so….
Does roosh men like men have high drug use rates same for suicide . And both in homosexuals is primarily due to depression brought about by cultural nonacceptance .We have come a long way to merely tolerating gays but as a culture we have yet to fully embrace them. and plenty of studies have shown that groups that embrace rather then tolerate lower drug and suicide rates
Not really sure what to say other then WTF and of course roosh has nothing else
Well, look who’s putting on airs.
Hey, Roosh! You aren’t part of a community. You’re all just a prison population that hasn’t been incarcerated just yet.
@enjolra
He thinks he invented the Red Pill. That sort of statement from him doesn’t surprise me.
In 2013 I predicted that Roosh would turn increasingly anti-sex, anti-equality, start sporting a Duck Dynasty beard. I have to say the beard looks better than I expected.
Not serious prediction: He will move to Moscow and wiggle himself to be Putin’s personal advisor. A “Rooshputin”, if you will.
Arctic Ape – I laughed at that more than expected.
Buttercup Q. Skullpants – good point. Beyond even his dislike for having to hear their condemnation is his rage that the general public is hearing it. People he can’t control saying things he doesn’t want said – and being listened to. He’s discovering that he’s not really a Bond villain – he’s a Scooby-Doo villain and the mask is coming off.
@Hu’s on First
There is zero chance that Caitlyn Jenner will ever be on a Republican presidential ticket. She’s got less of a chance than Ben Carson.
Does anyone know Roosh’s location in his Twitter avatar?
The Wise Sage in a literal Mancave look doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in his prophetic dreams.
(And he’s an awful person who is desperate to stay relevant. Pbbbbbth)
Hey, MADDJION! I just wanted to make some additions to your rebuttals to Roosh, as a queer person myself. 🙂
And I think you’re new, so welcome!
Well, AIDS really hit the LGBTQ+ community super hard partially because the government refused to help those afflicted if they were LGBTQ+.
Here’s a good article to read up on. There’s also quite a few folks who survived and lived to tell us youngin’s what it was like. (The epidemic started before I was born, and only lasted until I was ten, but still too young to understand what was up.)
Another reason why the LGBTQ+ community suffers from higher rates of drug addiction, alcoholism, and suicide is due to lack of a support system for many young people in the community.
LGBTQ+ teens especially have higher rates of those problems because they’re shunned by their families/friends/people they know, or struggle with hiding their identities out of fear of being shunned by everyone, or out of self-loathing for being LGBTQ+, because it’s beaten into them that we’re somehow “wrong” and “bad”, so they turn to drugs or alcohol to cope, or they will just straight up kill themselves to “escape”.
In other words, people like Roosh are partially why we have such high rates of these problems in the community, and the fact that he thinks that they’re a reason why we’re “bad” is laughable in a bitter, sarcastic kind of way.
What gets me is that he and other cishet dudes go on and on and on about how awesome anal sex would be and how much they want to have it (with women), but at the same time, they freak out when they hear gay men do it.
What also gets me is that he and his ilk always seem to forget that lesbians exist, but of course they don’t give a shit if it doesn’t revolve around their boner.
Out of sight, out of mind, I suppose.
@Buttercup Skullpants
it’s amazing when people enter the public sphere and are surprised that people go riffling through their past. I can’t imagine how self absorbed you have to be to expect to be able to run for president and never be criticized
@Hu’s on First
apparently Kanye’s thinking of running in 2020 which would probably go horribly because Kanye is horrible at taking even relatively minor criticism and you can’t make it through a presidential run without getting criticized–celebrities really need to stop running for president just because it strokes their egos
I agree with Dalillama that Caitlyn Jenner would never be able to win the republican nomination
@sparkalipoo – Amazing, isn’t it? Most candidates hire a professional to do opposition research/vetting on themselves before they even enter the ring, so that they won’t be surprised by any dirt their opponent digs up on them. Trump didn’t even take that basic step. My guess is that he doesn’t dwell on the past and never feels remorse, so what’s the problem? As far as he’s concerned, no one was hurt in building the vast Trump Empire and no laws were broken. If they were, the incident can easily be rationalized away as “just business”. He’s used to bribing and threatening to get a problem to disappear.
Earlier tonight, Trump demanded a drug test before the next debate. I just can’t anymore with this election. It’s too bizarre even for the Onion.
