How can they call that a wash? Trump didn’t even really answer the questions. But yeah, he didn’t crap in his hands and throw it at her, so his supporters will be happy.
Yeah, I’m not finding anything anywhere.
ETA: Pence has got to be pretty mad a Trump throwing him under the bus though!
I haven’t found a credible source that states Pence is out…
I can tell you Indiana doesn’t want him back…
Here in the UK both the BBC and Channel 4 covered the debate. Both channels also have a Republican and Democrat guest.
The Channel 4 ones both very much stayed ‘on message’ but I liked this bit:
Republican: “I think Trump will win”
Channel 4 bloke: “Seriously?!”
The Republican guy on the BBC thought Trump didn’t do as badly as he might have done (he thought Hilary let him off the hook a few times) but he thinks whilst Trump has a hard core of supporters who will vote for him regardless of anything he says, he’s probably irreparably lost the support of most people who might otherwise vote Republican.
Okay scratch that, he could be the first. I still say he would just because of how much Trump threw him under the bus repeatedly.
That’s not true. Hardcore Republicans are not bailing on him. The trouble is that he can’t win with only the base voting for him, he needs independents as well and he’s losing those. His support amongst Republicans has not appreciably changed since the grabby tape came out.
I missed a lot of the debate because my Internet is out, and the TV signal kept cutting out due to the weather. But damn, they were really ripping into each other at points. Clinton was not always answering the question which was being asked but at least sort of stayed on subject. Trump just went off the rails and went on about whatever.
I’d say more but typing on my phone is such a pain.
I agree with you all, I just heard David Brooks say some stuff.
Mark Shields (their ‘left-leaning’ male commentator) said it was not elevating, not inspiring.
I think if the first debate tipped the scale in Clinton’s favor, the spin is that some kind of balance has been restored.
I saw a sniffing, interrupting, refusing-to-answer any questions replay. I wish Clinton had been able to step back more like she did last time and let him hang himself, but what’s done is done.
Whelp time to pop the apple cider and mochi ice cream, cause frankly the only ones left to vote for him are the core members, and that is never enough to win an election. I’m still going to vote, but I have not a doubt in my mind it’s already a given.
I was gonna go check out Milo’s flailing on twitter. Denied! :p
@ POM
Yeah, that’s what the guy was saying. There’s a base who will forgive Trump anything but he’s alienated everyone outside that.
Pence isn’t quitting. Apparently he thinks Trump won.
Oh come on, you could have made History Pence, History with an H. Surely you wouldn’t want to keep being with a running mate who clearly does not care about you, your feelings or anything about you.
EDIT: It’s kind of fun trolling “liberal” Trump supporters. Apparently “liberal” to them means being for trickle down econ, ignore any and all statements of racism and call you dumb while ignoring anything you post. Whatever dude, keep calling yourself “liberal”, just saying that it doesn’t mean what you think it means.
@Michael Brew: Hoo boy those comments…
The first few are, of course, shitposters. The next few feature people mentioning (a LOT) that Trump threw him under the bus and him saying he doesn’t “talk to Pence”.
My favorite though was “Donald, give Pence back his phone.”
In case anyone cares Blue Jays win on an error by Rougned Odor.
“Proud to stand with you, even though you threw me under the bus.” – Mike Pence’s Tweet, before editing.
@ PeeVee the (Noice) Sarcastic
I refuse to believe he wasn’t typing that while gritting his teeth.
@eli
the 12 year old rape victim remark is a reference to this meme

@Dreadnought – Hope you have a more restful & less anxious night.
And yes, it’s Thanksgiving here. I only caught the second half of the debate because my cousin & neighbour were over for dinner.
My dad who comes from the U.S., was listening avidly (after the guests left). He found Clinton’s focus on Russia somewhat worrying; he thought it partly served to appeal to Cold War worries in people his age (he was born 1949). I’ve lived in Canada all my life (born 1988), so I don’t really have the perspective to comment.
But he agreed that Trump was far worse, from avoiding the Muslim ban question (“extreme vetting” my ass) to espousing (vague) environmentally disastrous policies.
@ooglyboggles
Mochie! Aw, I miss that! Anyone near Pensacola, FL know where i can find mochie?
@KittyCartel
I’m sorry I don’t live there, but I think yellowpages might have a few leads.

Oh dagnabbit I just realized that I can’t find a little Saigon supermarket, which means I can’t buy my favorite wafer straws. No, no.

This is so unfair.

Oh wait if you’re near this place.
A Saigon market and Deli,
604 N Pace Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32505
They might have some mochi.
OoglyBoggles:
I’m surprised he has any enamel left. He certainly has no hearing, (or dignity.)
@Ooglyboggles
I’ll keep by eyes out. Some Publix may have it, but I won’t keep my hopes up. Moving from Seattle/Portland to northern Florida is a bit of a culture shock
Yes! I’m in Milton so Pace is close to me, I’ll let you know soon and report back!
Dangit, so hoped that Pence had quit. Ah well.
