Today in Breitbart Comments: Hillary’s … curtains

Breitbart boss turned Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon
Breitbart boss turned Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon

Welcome to the first installment of a new series here on We Hunted the Mammoth: Today in Breitbart Comments.

It’s pretty simple. Every day I will read through as many comments on Breitbart as I can stomach, and bring back some of the, er, best for you!

Today, I looked through some of the 5076 (and counting) comments Breitbart readers left on a post titled “Clinton Campaign Dogpiles NBC Reporter for Covering Hillary’s Coughing Attack.”

As it turns out, Breitbart’s commenters have quite a few concerns about Hillary’s health — and some, well, novel explanations for her cough. Some selected comments from the thread:

Reno Rivera Divine Friend • 5 hours ago Lesbians cough a lot. Particularly, old lesbians. It's as if they smoke four packs a day. Has to do with what they do with their tongues.

Doom On You Ham ☑ - Only ✝Christ Matters • 5 hours ago Maybe Clinton just had a hairball from Huma?

Yabba_Dabba Ham ☑ - Only ✝Christ Matters • 5 hours ago Papilloma caused cancer via her diseased husband Slick Willie, or infection via Saudi mole Huma Abedin via the diseased slimeball Anthony Weiner. Cancer by proxy through toxic STDs.

Richard Heinrich klem • 9 hours ago I wonder if they are casting about for a Hillary "Double" who can take her place when she finally collapses.

DefiantDeity Tommy p • 3 hours ago Who wants to bet Hillary has m**t curtains that hang to her knees between her legs?

And here is the most-liked comment in the thread:

Human Metaverse • 10 hours ago She's has had that allergy at least since 2008 and there isn't one pharmaceutical product that Big Pharma can offer its evillest minion to stop it recurring 365 days per year, or stop her choking especially prior to/during important speaking events...? She pees herself, can't walk or step at times, has lesions on her tongue, has seizures that make her look mentally retarded and has a wheel chair in her lowered-floor van.... Hahahahahaha. No-one believes the msm. It is probably Alzheimer's.

REMINDER: This is the audience that Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s campaign CEO, cultivated for many years as the head cheese of Breitbart — and that Trump was presumably hoping to appeal to by hiring Bannon to run his campaign.

Oh, Miss Phryne Fisher!
I read the novels many, many moons ago, and was delighted with the TV version. Essie Davis does a FAB job.

I seem to have misplaced my liquid nitrogen, Axe my love, so do carry on as you were. Careful not to set the place on fire 🙂

In my experience, all the best people have gutter brains.

(And now you’ve suggested that it’s just such a perfect title)

I’d need to be submerged in liquid nitrogen ?

You don’t need it, you’re already cool.

OT: Obama nominated a muslim to be a federal judge, the first president to ever do that in the history of the US.

http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_57cf2cfbe4b03d2d45970d3a

On one hand I see a long, hard road for this particular individual to even see the seat of his position. On the other hand if he does manage to be an official member he’ll be first ever Muslim American federal judge.

I can easily see either Obama getting him in during lame duck congress or Clinton endorsing him in the future. And he appeals to the petty side of me, the part that knows him being a federal judge is another jab against Breitbart types.

It would be hilarious if newly inaugurated Hillary Clinton coughed up a storm (on purpose) to troll these idiots in January. These people are beyond ridiculous. It’s almost as if they have no self awareness and consequently no shame.

From the comments section

Pepe memes are only a part of the struggle. More a nod to each other than an attack. Pepe is truly an agent of chaos. Like Loki but more like half troll half god.

These are the people who are steering the alt-right and the GOP nominee.

Strangely enough past the purple prose the writer does nail down that alt right is undefined as all hell and if it was an animal, a hydra with all its heads trying to outshout and out bully the other heads for influence. That and alt right is inherently superstitious and immature going from one emotional extreme to another with no desire for anything other than some vague notions.

After that his blowhard can go kiss a cactus for false equivalence and the idea that compromise is inherently wrong. Compromise is only wrong when the opposition is not acting in good faith and you are overextending your offer to the point of bending to the opposition’s every demand instead of pulling them towards your goals.

EDIT: I found this pictograph as the closest thing to properly defining the political stand points of the art other than the usual points of sexism/racism/classism/bigotry.

From the dark corners of Reddit.

I’m still not sure which gives me more of a headache, the graph or the article.

@Oogly Boggles: I find it amusing that they claim to be strongly against “Degraded” art, using examples of hentai manga.

The idea of these chucklefucks going to war against each other over anime porn is… amusing.

weirwoodtreehugger: communist bonobo

These people really have an overinflated sense of their own importance. Most people would see a Pepe meme and just vaguely wonder why so many weirdo trolls use silly frog picture, shrug and move on with their lives.

Joining in on the Miss Phryne Fisher love, and for Essie Davis in the role. Also for Dot, who is a fabulous fictional knitter.

Err… the “Crony Capitalism” thing in their “minor opposition” list… it has the Trump University logo smack in the middle of it.

Must be because it’s actually a jewish conspiracy to undermine Trump’s image, or something.

Apparently Trump is now promising to release his full medical records. “100%” he says. So, whatcha thinkin? Just as bullshit as his doctor’s letter?

Nah, I’m sure it’s fine. I just hope he doesn’t have anything bad in there. ‘Right wing’ media will pounce on it just like with Hillary coughing that one time. Right? No sexism here! Don’t look at the bigot behind the curtain

Also, will we finally learn which foot Trump had his bone spurs in? He says he can’t remember…

@John

Wat. Your dog said you have worms in your lungs ?

She’s figured out grammar, but vocab leaves something to be desired. Non prehensile paws really disincentivize editing 🙂

So of these people don’t even want her in office, why are they so worried about her health? They act like they’re worried that she’ll die in office.

Gonna try my hand at alt-right styled rhetoric :

I’m not saying having had a bone spur at some point makes you unfit for being POTUS. But not remembering which foot ? Helluva red flag.

Also, complete OT, sorry. Finding myself in a weird and shitty place right now. Last night apparently was godawful insomnia night, with full-blown “brain-lock” effect – like a condensed version of pretty much everything that makes up depression, cycling in quick succession. So to take my mind off it I got up, decided to play video games.

A few days ago I’d got back to Dying Light (a very poorly-written but otherwise pretty fun zombie game) and its expansion The Following (which redeems the poorly-written part a bit, and really transcends the rest – I love that countryside shtick and atmosphere). It’s not a scary game by any metric. It’s pretty scenic in a bunch of places, but never really scary. I mean, zombies. There’s nothing scary about those bastards, especially with endgame gear that lets you plow through hordes of the fuckers for fun when you could avoid them just as easily.

Yet I’m fucking scared for some reason. It started last night, found myself unable to do most of the quests I have right now. Going into a basement to slaughter the single, weak zombie that occupies it ? The basement itself scares me, not least because of the Doctor Who easter egg (a Weeping Angel) it contains, a device I’m fully aware of. I know what it’s gonna do, I know it’s not an actual threat, yet I can’t bring myself to go down there and face that fucking statue, and the zombie moans creep me the hell out too.

It’s like my amygdalae are on steroids, I’m not sure what the hell is going on. What is normally brainless (puns) fun suddenly becomes scary as all heck for all the weirdest and unexplainable reasons. It’s definitely not the lack of sleep, I’ve had plenty of that recently. It’s not the cafein screwing me up, my intake has been pretty mild as a result of getting enough sleep. It could be the large amount of beer I’ve had yesterday afternoon, but that would really be a first, I mean if alcohol did that to me I certainly wouldn’t have such a drinking problem by now. And there’s no reason it would still cause all of that 24 hours later.

It’s also affecting me outside of gaming, of course, which is a lot more problematic. Weird fear of the dark last night, making coffee trips downstairs absolutely impossible. Since I’m gonna have to do a few all-nighters to put myself back in a “normal” sleeping clock, I’m looking at a very fucked up week.

Anyone have any idea what the hell to do in those situations ?

TL;DR I’m scared of zombies now, for fuck’s sake. The hell is wrong with me today.

Gaea Smith actually. Don’t mind saying so, cos it’s like the most common surname in the country. We got her from a family friend, they kept her brother (who’s no longer with us ?)
And it’s a virtual keyboard, no need to hold buttons. If it was a physical keyboard, she woulda eaten at least half of the keys by now 😀

@Sinkable John:
In my experience, that sort of brain state is normally because there’s something else I’m anxious about and I’ve been repressing it. Sunlight, exercise and mindful awareness are the best cures but also the hardest things to do.

All the best, dude. My hugs and very best wishes.

@Axe:
“Gaea Smith” sounds even cooler. I’m phobic about dogs, but she sounds adorable.

Sunlight, exercise

Yeaaah… I’m only fully awake during the night, because insomnia’s back. But I’m gonna try to force through it and stay up till tomorrow night, so we’ll see. Thanks for the advice and hugs and wishes.

Compulsive throat-clearing can be a symptom of postnasal drip. Hard to diagnose because it’s such a minor ailment that most doctors just don’t care to investigate it. Everybody in my dad’s family has it and we all clear our throats all the time, and people just have to live with that.

a hydra with all its heads trying to outshout and out bully the other heads for influence

There’s an imperfect analogy here with the Wyrm from Werewolf: the Apocalypse. The Wyrm has three major “heads” or manifestations, and a multitude of smaller ones, which don’t communicate with one another so they sometimes work at cross-purposes despite having the same objective.

The analogy is imperfect because the Wyrm turned out to not be evil in the end, and the alt-right definitely is.

OT: Goldman Sachs, the leading fraud machine of the mortgage crisis recently enacted a policy to keep themselves from donating (buying) local, state and some national politicians in the US.

Gold star Goldman Sachs, you can now refrain yourselves and stick to only donating to national level politicians that you like.

That’s because the alt right is not a serious political position. It’s a tantrum and a lame excuse to cling on to discredited, ugly behavior.

@Ouroboros13
In many ways its yet another Nativist upheaval, a sentiment that rises like a weed every few decades or so. If we’re lucky this is a sign of a social extinction event where these types and the people who enable those types to keep themselves in power would all get the boot out of the political system.
