Say what you will about the meme-makers at the Going GHOST – MGTOW Facebook page, but you have to give them credit for one thing: their laser-like focus on the issues that truly matter to men.
And I don’t mean silly frivolous fluff like prison rape or workplace safety or prostate cancer. No, I mean the issues that REALLY matter. Like ladies night. And hot chicks playing video games in their underwear.
Let’s take a look at these and other totally important issues they raise.
1) Females today being a bunch of ugly lesbians
2) The aforementioned Ladies Night
3) Hot babes playing video games in their underwear
4) Hot babes getting more “likes” on Facebook for their cosplay pics than I got for my totally awesome Batman costume, no, I’m not bitter
5) Women dressing up as sexy Darth Vader even though they probably don’t even know who he is, probably!
6) Females doing Yoga wrong, and also having jobs and voting
Clearly the only way to deal with a society this corrupt is to Go Your Own Way and live a life of quiet dignity like Henry David Thoreau devote all your free time to yelling about how women suck on the internet.
I really wanna know where #1 is getting his “attractiveness of women from 1910 to 1940” data. Didn’t know we were keeping a database on that.
In England separate prices for nightclub entrance is unlawful discrimination.
There are ways round it though, like offering discounted entry to anyone wearing a short skirt and wonderbra.
The irony of complaining about slutty-sluts slutting up their precious nerd-dom (and probably ruining their childhoods) is that when these spaces were male dominated they were absolutely plastered with scantily clad women.
Ugh…”men and females”
I notice MGTOWs believe that bullshit saying that “Men age like wine and women age like milk”. If they bring up #KillAllMen, I’d just tell them it’s a Countess Bathory thing. *heavy sarcasm ahead* She was doing it wrong…silly female should have gone for the men if she wanted to stay young and beautiful forever.
Am I incredibly dense or do the vertical axes of those graphs make no sense? Men start out at 30, women at 55 or so, but both end up close to 100 in the final graph? I thought that it was maybe indicating casualties in the World Wars and Vietnam, but 1) 70% of the male population was definitely not put out of commission by war, and 2) what does that have to do with the price of fish.
Also, not that I expect anything better from MGTOWs, but changing the scale of your axes between comparative graphs is pretty shady…
The men who want to give up women sure find a lot of dudes attractive.
Just pointing that out for discussion.
#1: Oooooo, ASSFAX IN CHART FORM! Lack of citations, too! Niiiiiiice.
#2: Dude, what’s up with all the cut-off feet on the women? Or at least, the two white ones at the head of the queue? And the “salaries” all smell like assfax, too. Best of all, the unemployable graphic designer left out the fact that the ladies are being used as bait to get men to pay to get in, in the hopes of getting a lady drunk (and/or roofie-ing her) so he can get his way with the bait…oh sorry, LADY. Not exactly pro-female discrimination, is it?
#3. Actually, women and girls have ALWAYS played video games, AND read comix. I distinctly recall doing both in the 1970s and ’80s. There was no “once viewed as”. And speaking of attention-whoring: What exactly is this meme, if not that, on the part of a silly, ill-informed male?
#4. If men weren’t so fixated on skimpily costumed female characters, none of these “likes” for “slutty” cosplay would even be an issue. And why do I get the feeling that this graphic was made by a dude who ogles swaying boobies in video games, and wanks over comix featuring said skimpily costumed female characters?
#5. See #4, and add in the fact that “sexy (inane thing)” costumes are all over the stores every Halloween.
#6. Shaolin monks aren’t yogis, asswipe. And have you checked the gender disparity in pay and societal respect yet? NOOOOOO.
I’m really confused about number 1. What’s the scale of the graphs? If it’s percentages shouldn’t male+female add up to 100? Or if it’s the percentage ratio of gay/attractive/unattractive then all the graphs should be at 100.
Also where do attractive gay people go in the graph?
I really kinda love those graphs in #1. I mean, all the “data” is pulled out of his ass and the axes make no sense, but the actual graphs are well done and readable.
I would love to explain to #2 that women getting in free on Ladies’ Night has nothing to do with relative incomes, but rather that the bar/club is essentially using women as bait because then more men will come in.
The dudebrosphere is just one gigantic poe-ball, isn’t it?
#4: The “Slutty” costume is more authentic than the “Authentic” costume.

Honestly, I’m not even an FF fan and I still recognised that outfit… Silly fake geek boys.
The #1 Graph hurts my head. No Y-Axis but by title it’s supposedly a ratio, but then how do both bars increase, even to the point they have to change the scaling?
I’m reasonably convinced that that FFX-2 Yuna costume is perfectly authentic.
I mean it’s not the cosplayer’s fault that the character was officially dressed like this:

And I was ninjad’
For the first chart, what to the numbers refer to? They don’t seem to be percentages because they don’t add up to 100%. They don’t seem to be millions of people because I’m sure there are more than 185 million adults in the U.S.
How did they determine how many gay people lived in an era when very few gay people would have been likely to admit it publicly?
Where do they get their data on the number of attractive vs. unattractive people?
Why do these MRAs insist that men are good at math but women aren’t?
bc obviously women who won’t fuck them have no value.
For real, #1 is a crime against data visualization even if it wasn’t pure assfacts.
Title says it’s a ratio:
Frame 1: adds to 90%
Frame 2: adds to 110%
Frame 3: adds to 160%
Frame 4: adds to 190%
Deeply felt convictions about the past, potentially based on what a bitter older relative told them?
How do linguists earn $80k/Year?? And how do I become a linguist?
I wondered the same, princess sunny burn. “Attractiveness” is not only subjective to the individual, but the measure of what we commonly refer to as attractive changes over time.
Someone considered quite beautiful by most in 1910 would likely be far too robust for mainstream taste today. And how can one check for the all-important thigh gap under that long skirt!?
Does anyone else admire the perfect, seamless irony of people overtly displaying hostility towards women in “their” space, while complaining about how unfair it is that women need to be given financial inducements to spend time in their company?
Because it’s kind of beautiful, in a horrible kind of way.
Can we start a meme with Trump’s “I alone one that can fix this” as
“proof” that Trump supporters don’t need to vote because he’s got it handled?
I’m recalling the Trump supporter that didn’t vote in his state’s primary because he wanted to be in line early to hear Trump speak.
Makes as much sense as any of these memes, which is to say, none.
I’m thinking it would work really well on the guy who put the graphs together, because he obviously has no clue how math works.
There’s nothing true in any of them.
Ladies night has always been about drawing more men in, not pay inequality.
Women have always played video games. Many of them use a gender neutral or masculine name to keep the heckling down
Downward dog is very much yoga.
And so on. One of my hopes is that, many of these people are either lying about their ages and too young to vote or will forget to register.
If there was ever an election where all the good hearted people needed to vote, it’s this one.
They’re jealous of how many “likes” other people get? I have about 40 people on my Facebook contact list, about half are active, a third of the rest get to see my posts, so if my post was really good I can expect half a dozen likes.
If I wanted to get a million likes, I’d have to start by adding random people to the list so I’d actually have a public to post at, if I won’t do at least that, I have no ground for complaining that people who do get more likes!
So… I know it’s been said about a thousand times already, but hey.
When are they actually gonna just fuck off and GO their own way already ?
My favorite “fact” from that “scientific” graph, from the 1940-1970 section:
Can’t argue with that!
Wait, did they just admit that women work in IT?
Also, OT, but I saw this and it is awesome: http://thecooperreview.com/non-threatening-leadership-strategies-for-women/
