Exclusive photos from the International Male Issues Conference in London!

This was the big weekend, folks! The weekend of the historic International Male Issues Conference in London!

Wait, that’s not right. International Male is the clothing company with that famous catalog. I meant the International London Men Conference. No, that’s not it either. Oh, wait! The International Conference on Men’s Issues in London. I’m pretty sure that’s it.  Catch the excitement on the conference’s official Twitter hashtag!

Now, it’s true that the event this weekend did not draw a ton of media coverage.

Or any, actually: As of Sunday afternoon, a Google News search reveals that the only media outlet, and I use that term loosely, to report on the conference was Breitbart. Last fall. (The conference got a brief mention in the  Jewish Chronicle online, and someone mentioned it in a comment on The Guardian’s website.) Indeed, media interest in the event was evidently so tepid that the organizers cancelled their press conference at the last minute.

The lack of media interest might have something to do with the fact that the conference organizers — led by political failure Mike Buchanan of the Justice for Men and Boys party — refused to give out press passes to the event, instead demanding that reporters shell out £265 for the privilege of hearing a bunch of idiots talk nonsense about the supposed oppression of men.

Not even the prospect of getting autographs from “Janet Bloomfield” and/or Paul Elam was enough to lure the media there.

But one wily media outlet was able to sneak a photographer into the event — We Hunted the Mammoth, the very blog you are now reading

And so I present to you these EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS of ICMI16 from our man in London. Who might possibly be a cat.

celebimp1

Wait, is that Tiger Woods? Sitting next to Rod Stewart? With Ozzy Osbourne, Madonna, and Sean Connery behind them? Except that none of them look quite right?

Sorry, folks, I think this is just some picture of a bunch of celebrity impersonators.

celebimpbig

Wait, is that Austin Pow…

Never mind, it’s more celebrity impersonators. Besides, I can’t imagine that this many people made it to the ICMI.

abraham-lincolns-46

All right, that’s just a bunch of dudes dressed as Abraham Lincoln.

einstein-1

And that’s a bunch of people dressed as Albert Einstein. What the hell.

Raccoons

THESE AREN’T EVEN PEOPLE!!11!

I’m beginning to think that our photographer didn’t actually go to the ICMI at all.

Luckily, one Youtube doofus who did attend the conference posted this footage of some of the conference goers milling around awkwardly outside of the venue.

https://twitter.com/6ame/status/751795513549328384

Ah well. At least that’s more than the zero who attended their conference last year.

@Mark
There you go again with WRA, a term that strangely enough when I google it, doesn’t seem to a term on the official organization sites for women’s rights. They seem to all have this word called “feminism” in them instead.

Oh my, so many millions suffering at the hands of being married to the one person they care about the most. The horror, the horror indeed. Look at all the people who marry for different reasons, divorce for different reasons and allow themselves to be with who they choose.

1) The word you’re looking for is “feminists.”
2) Feminists aren’t after the annihilation of marriage. And no, not because we want to keep making beta orbiter cucks out of our husbands or something. (Blech. Using those three words leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Need moar jellybeans).
3) Why exactly is marriage so destructive for men, dare I ask?

“What surveys? Where? Link.”

Do you own research. It’s called “Google”.

Translation: I have no intent to actually support my assertions, I’m just here to say things.

And where are the fathers of said sons in all this, eh?

Actually, as a male homosocial institution, it almost always is the fathers who are raising their sons to follow military tradition, get some political recognition, defend their land holdings, or a place in heaven for killing people who practice religion the wrong way or some other stupid bullshit (brainwashed by yet another male-dominated institution). Don’t forget social mobility, something exclusively reserved for men.

@ JoeB

Either that or by “surveys” Mark means that he asked a bunch of his friends “Don’t you agree that women (fill in the blank)?” and they all said, “Yes!”

“And where are the fathers of said sons in all this, eh?”

Like I said, gynocentric programming is too powerful for most men to defeat. Why? Music, books, movies, TV shows, etc. It’s all gynocentric brainwashing – from birth. Boys are fed the notion on a daily basis that girls are better and that boys need to try hard to win the favor of women. Why? This is the part I don’t understand – because nearly everything built and all of the rights to be had for women were created and/or obtained through the deaths and suffering of men. Why do men keep doing this to themselves? There are 7.5 billion people on the planet. When is enough enough? When are women going to stand on their own two feet, get off the backs of men and stop brainwashing men and boys into sacrificing everything on girl’s and women’s behalf?

The matriarchy is evil – not the patriarchy. The matriarchy would be chained to bedposts and beaten daily if the patriarchy were as evil as the matriarchy.

So, if women say they want to get married, it’s bad because we’re trying to trap them into a lifetime of misery. But if we say we don’t want to marry, that’s bad too because obviously we’re lying and just playing hard to get.

If we don’t want to join the military, we’re evil sociopaths trying to send men off to die. If we do want to join the military, we’re only doing it to take non combat positions and force all the men into combat.

Let me ask, Mark. As a woman, is there anything I could do or say that isn’t man hating? Please do enlighten me. How do I woman correctly?

For anybody who wasn’t around back then or hasn’t read through the archives: Minty Mark’s actually married; his wife’s a hateful little feMRA who trolls here on occasion too. Peas in a mouldy, ant-infested, half-liquid pod.

So men only want to get married because they think women hate it, and they’ll rush to fill combat positions just to prevent women from getting them?

Nice view of men you got there.

@Mark

Why don’t you just marry a man? That way, you can both divorce rape each other and steal one another’s riches, while neither gets custody. The kids will simply cease to exist, and all other assets will instantly double. And afterwards you can both go your own way, straight to the nearest feminist blog.

How do I woman correctly?

Oh, I know this one! “give me all the sex whenever I want and then disappear, and if you aren’t physically attractive to me don’t exist in the first place.” (MRA answer)

weirwoodtreehugger: communist bonobo

Apparently media makes men go to war. Why is it that men went to war before TV and movies even existed and before anyone other than aristocrats and religious higher ups were literate or had access to books? Were men brainwashed by sea shanties or something?

Hmmmm. Somehow I find GenJones’ answer to be more believable.

epitome of incomprehensibility

Yeah – that was one brutal tea and crumpets party. Oh the bloodshed (no pun). All that protesting and hate of men must have caused a massive swoon – resulting in the fainting couch.

I detect sarcasm. Read up on the women’s suffrage movement, and you’ll find plenty of police brutality – e.g. women who were arrested, beaten, and force-fed during hunger strikes. On the other hand, it’s true that not everybody involved was a victim of physical violence. Many of them lived comfortable middle-class lives and only faced social pressure, if any, because of their involvement. That would be true of many activist movements.

Now, compare that to the MRA/MGTOW “movement”. Are your leaders regularly arrested and beaten by police? Are there laws against you exercising your basic democratic rights?

(And don’t compare the suffrage movement with WW1 or WW2, since that’s completely disingenuous. Of course a massive international conflict would have more violent deaths than a mostly peaceful struggle for human rights.)

Kupo,

Lars/Glenn is the troll who uses “you’re not married!” as an insult.

I don’t think he and Mark are the same person because Mark doesn’t seem to have a creepy fixation with me.

I kind of feel like I’ve truly arrived as a WHTM regular now that a troll has a hate crush on me.

I’ll just drop this…

epitome of incomprehensibility

Aack, I’m behind in the conversation. Now it’s about “gynocentric programming.”

I DO see that all the time, I must admit: there are codes with girly names like Perl and Ruby instead of manly names like Python and JavaScript. It must be terrible to be a man in these trying times. *Shakes head sorrowfully*.

Wait, if Mark isn’t actually in the military, champing at the bit to go kill the wily (insert enemy of the moment here), then he’s a freeloading wuss sitting at home expecting men to go out and be killed on his behalf, while he hides under a blanket somewhere and doesn’t even sign up to drive an ambulance. Exactly the ‘crime’ he’s accusing women of. Nobody that whiny and pathetic could possibly make it through the training, so by his own idiotic rules he’s an honorary girl. How adorable.

The matriarchy is evil – not the patriarchy. The matriarchy would be chained to bedposts and beaten daily if the patriarchy were as evil as the matriarchy.

So apparently Mark you say this while according to SFHC you actually are married.

But since you’ll try to use hypocrisy on me, which is a funny word to use in cases like this, I’ll go for another angle. None of that “death and suffering” seemed to be for the women, the women as trophies and war crimes, and the men get to own all the property, all the land, all the wealth, all the voting rights, divorce consent, birth and death of children, education, control of their physical and mental well being.

And then I can just reference all the movies in history where literally the man solves all the problems and the women are act like helpless broads or worthless side show. Want to play the “no research game” how about you browse the imdb for that?

EDIT: And using a video from a person with a Russian Special Forces, while also having a banner of a man in skull and bones tattoos which I can easily bet that’s some form of anti semitism. Wow that looks like a 20 minute waste of time. And we check the other ones where it just seems to be the rants of a sexist blowhard.

Though I will give you points for not using quote minder tl;dr, 5 minute attention span Sargon or Black Pidgeon “Literally a nazi” nazi.

Damn, when Dslucia suggested Mark was going to link to a blog I was gonna go with Nope, it’ll be a YouTube vid”.

Paradoxical Intention - Resident Cheeseburger Slut

And now we’ve reached the point in the program where Mark’s only going to expect us to watch lengthy, stream-of-consciousness spiels about the Evils of Feeemales, so he’ll just link YouTube videos over and over again while we roll our eyes.

Thanks, I can’t keep them straight anymore. Must be my ladybrains.

@epitome
Wait, what’s C# then? Gynocentric or androcentric? I guess since it’s a cute play on musical notation and as Mark so helpfully pointed out all media is gynocentric, it must be gynocentric programming. Thank goodness, I’d hate to intrude on the mens when doing my programming. Guess I’ll have to stop using Python, though. 🙁
