Heartiste: The Orlando massacre may be the first step in a “needed cleansing”

Is Heartiste channelling Charles Manson in his response to the Orlando shootings?
Is Heartiste channeling Charles Manson in his response to the Orlando shootings?

You probably haven’t been wondering what profound conclusions the racist pickup artist who calls himself Heartiste has drawn from the horrific tragedy in Orlando. But I’m going to tell you anyway.

The first? That Omar Mateen was a pretty cool dude.

Don’t get me wrong. Heartiste is a Trump-worshipping bigot who wants not only the “jihadis” but their families “targeted for kebab removal,” as he’s charmingly put it.

But he also thinks that Mateen is ALPHA AF. As he wrote in a post today:

Chicks dig jerks, especially cute chicks in the prime of their fertility who could have non-jerks if they desired them.

And Mateen scored at least two such “‘chicks.”

The allure of the alpha male — note I did not say admirable man — over women is unmissable. … History is replete with female accomplices of alpha male killers whose charms could not be resisted.

Well, not quite as replete as all that. A look through Wikipedia’s vast list of the world’s serial killers suggests that it is far more common for male murderers to have male accomplices.

Lest it go under-reported, Omar’s first wife is a true hottie, and he has kids from multiple women.

Lest Heartiste forget it, Omar Mateen’s first wife reportedly fled from him only a few months into their brief marriage, apparently in such a hurry that she left virtually all of her belongings behind. She settled secretly in a city 1500 miles away from her husband so he wouldn’t be able to find her.

ALPHA. And if you don’t like it, don’t blame the messenger. Blame the massengil.

Even by the standards of bad puns, that last bit makes no sense whatsoever; it’s only funny if you think that all references to vaginas and their supposed perpetual stinkiness are inherently hilarious, because girls are icky amirite fellas high five! For a guy who professes to be some kind of smooth Lothario, Heartiste seems to get squicked out by vaginas awfully easily. (Also, it’s spelled MassengiLL. You’d think someone who is himself a massive douchebag would know that.)

Heartiste’s swooning over Mateen’s alleged alphatude is more than a little creepy. But not as creepy as the conclusion he drew in another post he put up today — that the Orlando massacre might be the first step in a “needed cleansing” of our decadent culture.

Men from aggressive, foreign tribes, full of passion and conviction, have begun targeting the culture and lifestyle centers of their post-tribal enemy … They have identified the softest underbelly and are eviscerating it with a vengeance. This means liberals — r-selected rabbits — will bear the brunt of violent Diversity. We are careening into the rabbit holocaust, when everything liberals believe and hold dear will be under mortal threat, and they will die or scatter to the protection of their warrens.

This may be a needed cleansing.

Yep, he really did write that.

After all, it’s rabbit ideology that got us to where we are: besieged by malcontents and barbarians, and making high-minded rationalizations for welcoming ever more of them to lay waste to the rabbit-optimized Elysium fields of grass that is always fresh and green.

This “cleansing,” in Heartiste’s view, could be brutal indeed.

Millions more Americans … could die at the hands of Diversity and the Effete Elite would not surrender their open borders globalist race-mongrelizing agenda.

But there’s a happy ending, of sorts, to Heartiste’s fractured fairy tale — one in which the cavalry, in the form of  right-wing authoritarians, rides to the rescue of the remaining Americans.

The solution will be, as always, a forceful taking of power by the K-selected wolves, to save the rabbits from themselves.

And of course Heartiste sees himself as one of the wolves.

I can’t help but notice that Heartiste’s apocalyptic fantasies are strikingly reminiscent of the similarly apocalyptic, similarly delusional fantasies of a fellow by the name of Charles Manson.

I don’t make this comparison lightly. But consider this:

Manson orchestrated the grotesquely brutal  Tate/LaBianca murders in hopes of triggering a race war — which Manson and his gang would ride out in a secret hideout in the desert. This was all part of what he famously called “Helter Skelter,” after the Beatles song.

Manson assumed that blacks would win this race war, but would be unable to run what remained of the country. Manson and his pals would then step up and take control themselves — thus transforming Charles Manson, the head of a rag-tag group of hippies who fed themselves out of garbage dumpsters, into the supreme ruler he’d always wanted to be.

Replace Manson’s references to “piggies” with Heartiste’s references to “rabbits” and “wolves,” and the fantasies follow a similarly addled logic. In Manson’s fever dream, the blacks — whom he hated — would carry out the “needed cleansing” of a decadent white civilization; in Heartiste’s fantasies. the hated Muslims will play a similar role.

Like Heartiste, many of those screaming the loudest about the allegedly evil Muslims hiding in our midst don’t really want the carnage to stop. In the short run, it means more converts to their hateful ideologies; in the long run, they dream of their own versions of Helter Skelter. That’s one of the reasons why this election is such a critical one — why Trump and Trumpism need to be soundly defeated.

Yet, they don’t enlist or join high risk professions or take up base jumping to get their kicks. They just fantasize and whine online. Heartise is such a ghoul.

In addition to PI’s points, I think in the case of this comment the poster is implying there’s something wrong with being a closeted, self-hating, gay person. It’s being used as an insult here. While it’s sad when people hate themselves, I don’t think we’d accept someone using any other reason for self-hate as an insult, so why give this a pass?

Yeah, Mateen was a closeted, self-hating gay. Sounds like an MRA to me. Good eye, Heartiste.

I don’t think I’m reading too much into it.

People keep bringing up ISIS, and it’s like “No, he learned his hatred here. He was born in the US.”

Yup. And who piles the largest helpings of scorn on queer folks in the US? Who else but fundie Christians, who elect the right-wing politicians who declare the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc….and who let gun manufacturers rule the roost at home, so that even people who shouldn’t get guns, can do so with ease.

Let’s face it, this one was home-grown…and if he was a self-hating queer Muslim, it was because he got a double dose of hatred from the “God, guns and gays” atmosphere created by the fundies. Triple if you count his scary old man, who is just as awful in his own way.

That would require, you know, actual effort.

I’m lucky enough to own a bicycle and live near some hills that don’t get a lot of traffic. I’m also apparently very easily amused.

Mateen’s pledge of allegiance to ISIS seemed like an afterthought to be honest. Like he would have done what he did regardless. Amanda Marcotte did a good write-up of how toxic masculinity fueled his actions no matter what else we ultimately blame them on. (Apologies if this has already been linked.)

http://www.salon.com/2016/06/13/overcompensation_nation_its_time_to_admit_that_toxic_masculinity_drives_gun_violence/

Side note: it’s a bit heartening to see a bunch of serious discussions about toxic masculinity coming up in recent news links on Google.

TMZ is reporting that a former grade school classmate said that Mateen threatened to shoot up his grade school in grade five, and was suspended as a result.

Heartiste is salivating at the idea of ethnic cleansing, that is, genocide.

He’ll participate by cranking out propaganda. When all the battles are over and the White Man is once again on top, Heartiste will assume his rightful place on the throne.

He’ll rule the world, have all the hot women he desires, and nothing will ever, ever go wrong.

Did I mention that he’ll be immortal?

On top of not being entirely relevant to the bigger picture, the fact that he may have been gay doesn’t preclude him also being an MRA. If there’s one thing that MRAs have gotten partially right in the past (before it got warped by their MRAGICK, of course), it’s the idea that underprivileged people can support things that run directly counter to what’s actually best for them (or at least, whatever underprivileged class they belong to).

Mateen’s pledge of allegiance to ISIS seemed like an afterthought to be honest. Like he would have done what he did regardless.

Same thing happened in San Bernadino, iirc. The shooters pledged to ISIS right before their attack, hands were wrung about a foreign-planned terror attack…then it turned out the man had been planning something like the attack since at least 2010, longer than ISIS has even existed.

Like Al Qaeda before them, they’re basically gangsters trying to pump up their own internal street cred, and homegrown terrorists try to legitimize themselves by throwing up a gang sign before they perform their crimes for their own reasons.

There’s certainly propaganda they and other terror groups have used to radicalize people…but when the killings are just piggybacking off of decades (at least) of internal rhetoric? Calling the cops before he got killed had just as much meaning as throwing up a sign.

Worth, what’s wrong MRA’s? Offended by the idea that people other than you like the animes and dah bunny girls? Oh and I support women’s rights, lgbt rights, starting to get over my prejudice over polyamory, union supporting anti gun and I’m okay with anyone taking the lead. And on top of that, I actually am glad that Japan is now working earnestly towards a better corporate culture and the youth working for a country where their rights are recognized.

I’m much more comfortable being a lurker than a commentor here but Heartiste’s bullshit is forcing me to break my silence.

First; Heartiste, dude, READ A FUCKING BIOLOGY TEXTBOOK, ASSHOLE! Those terms do not apply to sociological situations and they certainly don’t apply to different members of the same fucking species.

Second; as horrible as this attack was, and it was truly horrifying, don’t pretend that homophobic violence is some kind of new phenomenon. For centuries people have been torturing and killing gay people often with the full sanction of the government and\or dominant religion. Y’know what? The gay folks are still here and they are strong. Society is progressing and we will not let it turn back.

Third and last; Dude, the idea that you and your ilk are the future saviors of civilization is a fucking joke. If I’m looking for someone to save the world, I’ll go with the people who have actually faced persecution and survived. You’re just some douche that whines about how his dick doesn’t get enough respect. You are weak. You are shallow. You are pathetic.

The funniest depiction of their white male privilege is that like in their trash tier media, the lgbt community will run arms spread towards their “alphas” as the rightful saviors of minorities, since they are too weak to handle themselves and there is no one else they can turn to for aid. Even more so considering that they have done nothing but deride and gnash their teeth over the majority of society, our corporate overlords included have gone against their whims and decided that they all deserve legal protections and respect.

Fair’s fair. Upon rereading this crap I do have to give some kudos. When Heartiste wrote, “rabbit-optimized Elysium fields of grass that is always fresh and green” that made me picture a bunch of long-eared, bewhiskered agronomists standing in a field trying to find a way to produce greener grass. And that image makes me giggle a lot.

And that’s something that puzzles me. They seem to want the adoration of people they despise. I don’t get that. The most I’ve ever wanted from people I dislike is zero contact.

They want to be liked by everyone. They want the domination, in this case, have the ones in danger run to them as the ultimate act of submission, and exclaiming their praises and repenting for not groveling at their feet.

Just like their self insert animes with a twisted version of shonen.

Then there’s the ones who simply want to use this event to stomp on other people, but I’d rather not talk about such manipulative self serving egotists bent on satiating their hate than do anything the cowards.

This is another one of those things that I absolutely hate about western conservatism these days. On top of the anger, on top of the hatred, on top of the narcissism, on top of the paranoia, there’s also the relentless bloodlust. You can tell by the tone of the articles and comments on their websites (Breitbart, Return of Kings, World Net Daily, etc.) that the authors and commentators would sacrifice their left testicles if it meant they were able to go out and shoot blacks, Latinos, Muslims, college students, transwomen, public servants and so on. The only thing that’s holding them back at present is the force of law. An Islamic takeover of the west is exactly what they’re hoping for, because such would give them an excuse to form militias, break out the AK-47s and play Call of Duty in real-life.

I could cite a thousand examples like the following: but just a few days ago, I was on this Facebook page titled ‘Traditionalist Western Art’, dedicated to ranting about teh evulz of modern art, etc., and there was this photograph of some hipster type with his hair in a bun. The commentators knew literally nothing about him other than his appearance, yet on top of all the usual name-calling (“cuck”, “beta male”, “libtard”, etc.), and on top of all the usual ranting about the decline of western civilization and the pussification of white men, there were also all these rather frightening comments about inflicting harm on him. Comments about how they’d like to shoot him, torture him, castrate him, push him off a cliff, feed him to the wolves. And all because they considered his hairstyle “unmanly”. These people disgust me!

I grew up with so much gay hatred around me – it was totally ‘normal’. It was both casual and intense. It was partly fuelled by ignorance, but largely driven by fundamentalist attitudes. Christian, to be sure, but fundamentalist nonetheless. Let’s not kid ourselves that Islam does not have a problem with the wider spectrum of human sexuality or that D’aesh (and similar) online hate propaganda isn’t a pernicious influence. If Mateen indeed was a self-hating gay man that made him more vulnerable to the influences of gay-hate that is endemic in both his culture of origin and in his adopted culture. I’ve known gay men of both Muslim and Christian backgrounds whose lives (to me) seemed diminished by the conflict between their personal identity and their cultural/spiritual identity – to greater or lesser degrees.

It saddens me that a big part of America is reacting to radical Islam by embracing radical Christianity, which – to me – looks very similar in belief and practice – once you strip away local cultural artefacts. People haven’t coined the term Y’all Qaeda for nothing. (And I’m from the South and grew up in an evangelist, literalist family – I’m speaking from direct experience of that culture).

People are complex. And the causes of tragedies like these are complex, too. We’ll never know the ‘reason’ this happened, I doubt Mateen clearly knew himself.

The one thing I’m clear on is that easy access to semi-automatic weapons that can easily be converted to automatic weapons is the most solvable part of this problem if only we had the political will.

Part of me hopes that a silver lining to this tragedy would be if the gay activists took on gun control as a (partly) LGBT issue. They’ve done so much positive good over the past couple of decades and have achieved more than I ever thought would be possible (gay marriage). But maybe this is beyond their power. I despair.

David – I’m not really hooked into gay politics in America – are you getting a sense that people might want to take this on? I’ve seen a little bit from FB friends here in the UK, but not sure how that’s being handled in America.

Maybe.

But I’ve never known them to sacrifice anything.

I think they’re big bullshitters trying to make themselves look important, Wizard of Oz style.

And some of them — Heartiste, for example — seem to want to rile others up so much that these others go out and do something awful. Heartiste hopes to sit back and observe. He also hopes that the FBI will find his denial plausible.

And some of them — Heartiste, for example — seem to want to rile others up so much that these others go out and do something awful.

There’s an obvious parallel with the way the MRA movement radicalises and seeks to ‘inspire’ people to do their dirty work and online terrorism* This isn’t some sort of MRA = ISIS ‘Godwin’. Whether by accident or design their methodologies are similar. They both reach out to the malcontents. They build on existing alienation or grievances (real or perceived) or hatreds and amplify them. They groom people by providing a ‘sympathetic’ ear and then manipulate them.

We know the pattern: “Hey, feeling at a loss? Let us explain why it’s all the fault of (targeted group) and how you’d be justified in doing (X)”

I’ve said before that I think it’s only a matter of time before there’s an MRA inspired atrocity. It’s good that we mock these people, mockery can be a great strategy, but we mustn’t let that blind us to how dangerous these people are.

(* I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the online English language Al-Qaida magazine is called ‘Inspire’)

This man is revolting, but I in particular can’t stand his entire lack of understanding of biology.

Rabbits have evolved to be perfectly proficient at resisting wolves. They outbreed their losses and aren’t that easy to catch. Look at what happened in Australia to see a real carnage of unadapted animals.

Yes.

I’ve seen Triumph of the Will, the Leni Riefenstahl film about Hitler.

The man was a self-important gasbag who surrounded himself with hokey, tacky symbolism. And of course he was one of the most dangerous leaders of the twentieth century and possibly any century.
