Reddit’s Ovendice, rapidly becoming my favorite MGTOW, is on a meme-tear today, filling up the Men Going Their Own Way subreddit with amazing works of meme art.
I don’t know if he’s “designing” these himself, or if he’s found some secret goldmine of misogynistic memes as graphically painful as they are intellectually ridiculous.
Either way, I felt obliged to share some of the, er, “best” of them with you all. Consider them an early Memeday present.
HEY! Today isn’t Memeday! I plan my week around Memeday! Now I’m going to wake up tomorrow thinking it’s Saturday and be sad when my alarm clock goes off.
The message of the first meme matches up with Ovendice’s ideas about why female managers are always out when he calls, so he might actually have made at least that one.
I was going to critique the memes by enumerating the graphic design rules broken, but who had time for that CRAP? Obviously not Ovendice.
To be fair, Ovendice, it isn’t easy for us ladyfolks to each find our own meadow in which to frolic/do nothing.
Oh, goody! It’s like my birthday happened three weeks early! *cracks knuckles*
Meme 1: “Respects is earn!”
Ah, yes, what a wonderful feeling it is to have someone tell you that you have to earn their respect, and yet they seem to think they’re entitled to everyone else’s.
What this actually conveys is one, brevity and good use of typography are apparently dead, and two, that the meme maker doesn’t feel like they have to respect women at all, because of some kind of behavior they’ve perceived in the monolith that is “women” to them.
And yet, women should respect them, because they’re men, and they earned this respect they demand because something something mammoth hunting/inventions/other shit that this meme maker wants to take credit for by virtue of his (I’m assuming it’s a guy) membership in the Pen 15 Club.
Meme 2: “Golddiggers!”
How many “American women” do you peeps think this meme maker has met? I’m betting not many.

And the ones he has met, he’s most likely projected all of his negative feelings for women on.
Meme 3: “Slur, slur, fucking slur!”
Because nothing drives the point that “women are all stupid and insane!” like stock photos (that were most likely just snagged off of Google image search, hence their potato quality), yeah?
And, yet, somehow, we women are out to rule the world and enslave all men into a life of wage servitude because ass and tiddies make them all stupid.
And yet, they’re still somehow the more logical and rational gender.
Somehow.
EDIT: Speaking of tiddies:
I got my early birthday present to myself in the mail today!

My Deadpool tiddy mousepad!
Is the angry lady green because she’s supposed to be The Hulk?
Why are their memes and posters always essays? Less is more, rage-men, less is more.
Paradoxical Intentions,
I admire your responses but they could’ve been shortened to ‘Because penis’.
@HeinzD: Touche.
Though, I’d relay that to the meme makers. They could stand for some brevity.
KERNING IS MISANDRY!
These angry men need to question why they attract such terrible women.
Someone needs to tell them, “Who you are has a lot to do with who you attract.”
@ThatBear
Have you heard of keming?
@kupo
OH
YOU DIDN’T
They should sell inspirational wall/stairs decal Ovendice quotes in craft stores. Instead of all the nonsense about a home being a loving happy place quotables, ranting hate quotes about women from whom Ovendice and company claim to have gone their own way.
Hey, does that split-level ranch come with curly fries?
And make each of those half-dozen fonts more hideous than the last. After all, what better way to prove what awful people women are than to portray them in the manner of a cheesy horror movie poster?
Also, speaking of movies, something tells me that this OvenMitt is a real master of projection.
“respect is earned”
bullshit, imo. you should give everyone some default level of respect just for being a human.
but, I guess, MGTOWs don’t consider women human…
@Bina- it reminds me of that scene from Jesus Camp where the director is looking for the spookiest blood-drippingest font to scare the kiddies
There are some pretty cool horror films fonts out there but 1) you have to pay for them and b) it would be a shame if not a sin to waste them on this shit.

@PI
Nothing like a tiddy mousepad to comfort the wrist. Just make sure to keep liquids and debris away from the deadpool or he’ll quickly look worse for wear.
Meme 1: Those dripping blood letters look flayed. He must follow judgybitch on Twitter.
Meme 2: What does he mean by “no interests outside of food, getting drunk, and your house?” Is he saying that American women are really into architecture?
Meme 3: There’s quite a lot of projection involved when a manospherian complains of anyone else having endless banal thoughts they consider genius.
“Psychotic.” “Retarded.” “Insane.” Can we throw a little more ableism into that last one? I don’t think there’s quite enough. Of course, why just bash women when you can show through your choice of language that you don’t respect certain other groups of people as well?
@GenJones:
That, or AVFM, whose logo alternates between a serial-killer blood-smear and something that makes the M look like a toddler with an overloaded diaper. (Either one of which is hilariously appropriate.)
I think he means they judge you on the cleanliness, décor, etc., of it. And obviously, his has been found lacking.
“They are only interested in the things they can take from you, cause dey all gold diggers amirite”
A bit OT but A N I M E T I D D Y M O U S E P A D (yes I know Deadpool isn’t an anime character but whatever)
…I kind of want one one day…
Maybe the next time I got to a con, I can see if there are any in stock.
Back on topic, OH GOD THE FONTS ARE EYESEARING WHO THOUGHT THESE LOOKED GOOD
I’m with Scildfreja. They’re only interested in you buying them a house. BTW Scild, I posted in the leech-woman thread after you left. I was curious whether you and your colleagues believe in g.
