Apparently AVFM has a rather expansive definition of “buzzing,” as this is what is actually going on with the site’s traffic these days, according to Alexa.
Yep, things at AVFM are so buzzy that their traffic has buzzed itself off the bottom of the Alexa charts.
Apparently “buzz” is the sound Men’s Rights Activists make when they fall off a cliff.

Interesting, in many ways, that this is coinciding with the Republican Party’s convulsions (too early to call it death throes, but one can hope) resulting from the Trump campaign.
I suspect that it’s the same problem as Milo Yeah-Nope: Paulie is off the wagon, and figures it’s easier to be a raving misodge while drunk off his ass (the number of listeners would probably be the same either way). Sitting it down in front of a computer and typing things is HARD.
I have to say, that decreasing Y axis was really threw me for a loop. Turns out it’s the number of sites more popular than the one being ranked, not the total number of pageviews (which is what I expected to see).
So lower numbers are indeed better and also “higher” on the graph.
I was kind of mortified for a second though lol.
But where will all the alpha men go? What if this gives them more time to troll here?

I’d like to think that the MRM is over, but I suspect that it’s just being absorbed into that larger ball of less focused bitterness and resentment that calls itself the alt right.

It’s a shame the chart does that telescoping thing as it nears the bottom. I think that’s called a log chart? I very very much want to see a “real chart” with the awe-inspiring drop that would appear, not a log chart, and extending down down all the way to where AVFM is. Can’t any kind statistician here help me?

Speaking of the omniscient Paul Elam, he’s just one of a few manospherians who seem to be trying to hypnotize us with their gaze: Roosh and Milo do the same damn thing. It’s not working, guys! Also, ewww!
Plus! Those feet: Mom’s feet, kids’ feet, Dad’s feet. One big happy family. What does that have to do with the men’s “rights” movement? And not incidentally, what does it have to do with Paul Elam, who signed away his rights as a parent? Talk about misdirection!

Refresh my memory: Did some shenanigans go down in October? The Buzzfeed article was in August, wasn’t it?
It sure looks like something happened around that time though…
I believe that Jeff Sharlet’s article in GQ, which exposed them as the total douchebags (and even some criminals) all of us always knew they were, had a lot to do with it. I believe that Elam and his crew thought that the article was going to be highly favorable to them. (Well, Sharlet IS a man, after all. Only later did they find out that he was a beta cuck secret agent — his wife has taught women’s studies courses.) Then the article exposed them as a ridiculous bunch of misfits and fringies. This contributed to the fiasco of the 2015 Super-Worldwide International Assembly of Men being announced and then canceled, making AVFM much less profitable than Elam had expected, thus causing him to jettison some of the useful idiots he had surrounded himself with, leading to very public spats and recriminations.
If you always keep in mind that AVFM is primarily an income source for Paul Elam, much of what happened becomes easier to understand. As Deep Throat said, “Follow the money.”

Hi, POM. Well, I’m still on the right side of the grass but currently in a nursing home recuperating from an infected foot — it feels like a 30-day jail sentence, but luckily I have my laptop and the intertoobz now. And soon I’ll be able to go home to wife, kids and kitties.
I also have TV here (which we don’t have at home) so I am about to OD on Cruzencrantz and Trumpenstern. I find myself unable to comprehend how those two could actually have a chance to be the Keeper of the Nukes.
So how are you doing? I still come here lurking at times to see what people are saying in the comments but my tolerance for the rantings of the manosphere has worn thin, and I find I can only take just so much of their toxins. I mean, is there anything you can say about Paul Elam and his public defecations that hasn’t been said 1001 times?
