At no other point in history has a contract been written to so badly screw one gender over the other.

You could have been a woman a hundred years ago where you could be legally raped by your spouse (which laws were finally passed to prevent it in 1993 in the US.), you could be beaten for anything and everything (and if your husband didn’t beat you, he was seen as less of a man for not doing so), and you were expected to cater to his every whim and if you were Catholic, god help you because divorce wasn’t an option.

I would say that both men and women have it better nowadays, because there are more viable outs to marriage and ways to get away from abusive partners. Of course, men need a bit more help because of toxic masculinity saying that men aren’t men if they ask for help (or get beat up by a woman), but we’re still working on that.

Of course, if you’re worried about getting into an abusive relationship, Asshole, then by all means, just don’t get married or date or anything! That’d sure show us feminists, amirite?

Do you know what happens if you’re falsely convicted of DV, rape or sexual assault? You’re unemployable. Do you know what it means to be unemployable? It means you’ll likely take your own life or starve to death. Do you know what’s necessary to be convicted of DV, rape or sexual assault? A woman’s word alone.

So Bill Cosby’s just an anomaly then? Because I’ve seen over 50 women accuse him of rape, and he’s still being defended by people who claim that those women are “Drug whoring star fuckers“, Liars, and a bunch of other garbage.

And no, it’s never just “a woman’s word alone” that convicts men of domestic violence, rape, or sexual assault.

I was sexually abused by a family member from when I was twelve until I was fourteen. You know what happened? I told several people what was going on, and nothing happened until my boyfriend at the time took me to see the school counselor. Not a one of them did anything about it. I was dismissed as a “hysterical teenager who wanted to get back at her parents”, regardless of if they offered to help or not. It was always my word against his, and I was never believed until my ex listened to me.

Then there was two weeks of investigations where I was removed from my house and had to go live with a foster family, he was arrested and questioned, and I had to go to a rape crisis center to get checked out. Then there were two trials, both of which lasted a week, and where I had to go on a stand for what felt like hours at a time and recount all the traumatizing details of what I went through word for word with a prosecutor berating me for every inconsistency, even though I was a terrified teenager who only wanted to break down and cry and who didn’t want to be there in a room full of strangers telling the story of being raped and molested night after night after night.

And after all of that, I managed to get a conviction twice.

And you know what that fucker did after he was put away? He harassed my mother via his new prison pen-pal girlfriend on facebook, and he sent his biological daughter disgustingly sexually explicit letters asking her shit like “What kind of underwear do you wear for your boyfriend?” once she was a teenager (He was put away when she was eight.)

Not to mention there are so many fucking cops out there who berate rape victims and ask them shit like “What were you wearing?” “Where were you going?” “Who were you with?” “Were you drinking?” “Did you flirt with this person?”

And you know what else? There’s also tons of untested rape kits just lying around thanks to cops who think that women lie about being raped and just “regret having sex”, so guess who didn’t get convicted on “a woman’s word alone”? A shit-ton of possible rapists, because cops didn’t even bother to follow through with their fucking jobs.

I’d be impressed with the patience of any woman who would put up with your seething, putrid garbage mentality for five minutes. You’re better off alone, and we’re better off without you.

And the idea that any woman would want you and all your toxic bullshit, even if it’s just solely for your money, is outright laughable. Don’t flatter yourself.
