I don’t get why MGTOW try to claim herbivore men. Their usual line is that East Asian women are good and Western women are bad. Men are going their own way because Western women are so fat and entitled. As opposed to Asian women who are thin, submissive, and nice to men. So, why are Japanese men going their own way then?

Years ago, I was in an argument with a guy who denied he had said a thing earlier on that contradicted what he said in the present. Why? Because when I said he contradicted himself, he quoted the statement immediately before the most recent thing he said. He declared that since those statements didn’t contradict each other, he hadn’t contradicted himself. That’s how this argument works: I didn’t say it just now or immediately before just now, therefore I didn’t say it at all. It’s Trump logic.

This same guy also denied that black people experience America differently than white people. I tried mentioning a Spike Lee lecture in which he asked the dozens, if not hundreds, of black students in the audience if they had been called “white” for going to college and how every single one of them raised their hand. And he denied that middle class white people have a presumed expectation of going to college, because his parents didn’t expect him to go. It was a weird conversation. But I’m getting the same impression of this guy as the dude at that party.

I love the “sue them” line of reasoning, too. Especially when he’s labeling all feminists as uneducated (but I thought colleges were overflowing with feminists, especially those damned Humanities?), lazy, and illiterate.

Either feminists are monsters manipulating society into ruining men’s lives with a word or they’re powerless illiterates too lazy to accomplish anything. Pick one.

Nice projection, since it’s a far more common a tactic among MGTOWs and MRAs. They’re usually the loudest in using women and black people as shields from criticism or claiming that “by our own logic” we’re never allowed to criticize a woman’s opinions ever.

No, that’s quite different. Asexual people sometimes do date, get married, and have children, which herbivores by definition don’t. Also, “herbivores” don’t pursue high-status, high-paying, high-stress jobs, while asexuals are at least as likely to do so as anyone else.

Plus, I believe most of the herbivores are straight and are in theory interested in sex. They’ve just made the calculation MGTOW’s claim to make — that in the place and time where they live, it’s not worth the effort.
