I’ll guess James_Vivian as the gamergator, but I’ll admit the reasons are pretty superficial.

As for the rest, I think I’ve hit semantic saturation on the word “cuck,” to the point where I’m wondering if all of these accounts are just really racist, sentient chickens.

“Cuck” is actually a Scottyism for #2, as in, “Fill your ears with cuck, and you’ll die a sh*thead”, which these guys will surely do.

It’s James Vivian; Vivian James is the name of that ridiculous mascot they had to invent as proof that there were women on their side.

I can’t believe this is a thing that occupies space in my brain.

The gator has to be James Vivian. Name is a reversal of their mascot character (Vivian James, meant to sound vaguely like video games) and there also the ranting about SJWs which is pretty typical of how gamer gate types speak.

Does anyone speak their language fluently enough to explain to me, in English, what “cuck” means, when they say it? I know what the word from which it’s derived (cuckold) means… but it almost never seems to be mean that in their usage… I see it used as a noun, verb, and adjective… from context it seems to mean different things all the time… It’s very confusing. As a verb sometimes it’s bad to “cuck” (see first tweet above, “cuck ourselves to third world barbarians”) but sometimes it’s GOOD to cuck and bad to “be cucked” (see older post about Juice Bro “cucking” Seth Rogan).

Davidknewton — assuming they’re using the old English cuckold as the root, it’s like the noise a chicken makes, I think. I’m sticking with that though cuz w00t for double meanings!

Brian — I think it’s effectively their “smurf”. As in — smurf this smurfing place. Could mean fuck this shitty place, or love this wonderful place, or anything in between.

If ever confronted by a virulent racist or super-patriot over the issue of refugees, my first instinct would be to say something along the lines of, “To allow countless people to suffer and die because there might be a few subversive elements hidden among them would be a form of depraved indifference*.” However, I probably wouldn’t bother, because even if they fully understood what I meant by that, they’d still consider me a traitor to my race and/or nationality. When one’s identity is based around everyone being inherently or by default loyal to one or more social concepts, and another one finding the concept(s) to be irrelevant or meaningless, there’s no way they can ever see eye-to-eye.

*I’m not sure if it’s okay to say this here. “Depraved” could potentially be seen as being ableist language, but “depraved indifference” is a legalistic term which I am using in a fairly broad sense. If it’s an issue, I apologize and will refrain from using it again.

The social justice mad scientist seems awfully white to me. I suppose it’s no surprise that white supremacists can’t envision a mad scientist of color. Though I suppose the scientist could potentially be a antisemitic caricature, too.

@kirbywarp: perhaps you mean computer savvy? Or something more along those lines? Chickens, being living creatures and not machines, are already sentient.

This gives me a really good idea for a graphic novel though… :))
